The first time I tried it, it sounded strange, but then I absolutely loved it; it’s one of the best summer fragrances, with an incredible freshness that lingers in the air. I’d like the trail to be better, but it lasts quite a while on the skin. Over time it becomes sweet without losing its essential notes. The price is high, but I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it as a present for my birthday.
I must admit that the first time I smelled it, I found it strange, but after a while, wow, I loved it and it is one of the best for summer. Tremendous freshness that wanders around; I would love for it to have a better trail, but it is quite long-lasting on the skin. It turns sweet over time without losing its essential notes. The price is high, but I do not hesitate to buy it as a self-gift for my birthday.
Tom Ford Mandarino di Amalfi is a very good citrus, I absolutely loved it. It has a pleasant fruity citrus opening that gives freshness and energy. Furthermore, it features herbal notes and fresh spices that make it very Mediterranean. It is one of the citrus fragrances with the best longevity I have tried; it lasted nearly 10 hours. Being light, it is excellent for summer or hot days, to fill you with good vibes. That said, the price is very high, a luxury, but everyone decides if it is worth it.
Reminds me very much of Chanel Allure Edition Blanche at first: a flood of lemon and grapefruit with a strong minty base that hits you hard. The heart notes are pepper, orange blossom, and jasmine, which I deeply dislike, especially in men’s fragrances, as I find that note overly feminine and typical of summer lines. The base is musky and ambered but very soft, lacking any real animalic force (no civet), and while the vetiver stands out without being annoying, I don’t understand why, as I love that green note, particularly on hot summer nights, yet here it is barely noticeable. I think this is another Tom Ford collection piece; although the house has masterpieces, this one passes without making a mark. Fortunately, I was gifted it, as for less money there are better summer options (I was looking for something new for summer evenings). At around €250 for 50ml, it is quality and long-lasting, but it is not made to leave a lasting impression.
I bought it blindly in 100ml. The first time I wanted to throw it away because it smelled like lemon floor cleaner. Thank goodness it later changed and became refreshing. I do not want to be poetic because I hate those reviews, but this scent fills me up. That said, it does not last long; I have had it since this summer and I do not know how it will be in winter, but on hot days it does not pass three hours. I would not buy it again because it does not offer good value, although I will miss it; perhaps its EDT version is better, as happened with Tom Ford Costa Azzurra. Scent 8.5/10, performance 6/10.

I was surprised by this gem: a rich fragrance with an 8/10 projection and trail. Note, I have oily skin and that helps it immensely. Ideal for spring-summer and, why not, autumn. It’s exquisite and highly recommended, although expensive for me; I would buy it again. Best wishes.
Fresh, musky and floral. It reminds me a lot of LV’s California Dream, but this is a bit sharper, thanks to those citrus notes which are missing from theirs. It’s a good perfume, a very good one, but on me it doesn’t last as long as I expected. In my opinion, it’s for daytime use, projects class and distinction, and is 100% unisex.
It brushes against the skin with a half-dozen sweet mandarins, rub your hands as if with soap and smell: that is mandarin. With better longevity than other fruits, it outlasts most citrus scents; highly recommended. Spray it on your neck and people will eat you up. 😄😄 I’m a novice and don’t have a nose educated enough to detect other hidden notes (for now), so my perception is brutally mandarin.
My favourite scent for summer. It’s fresh and lasts long enough to be citrusy; on clothes it clings for almost the whole day, on the skin a decent four hours before fading to skin scent. I’d say it’s 100% unisex. I hope they don’t discontinue it, although it seems that’s what will happen. The Acqua version has poor performance compared to the Eau de Parfum.
Summer’s favourite: fresh and lasts long enough for a citrus. On clothes it goes all day, on skin about four decent hours before fading to a skin scent. 100% unisex. I hope they don’t discontinue it, although it seems they might. The Acqua version performs much less than the Eau de Parfum.
My favourite freshie from Tom Ford. Delicious tangerine note in the opening with a touch of mint and fruit, very neat. It’s one of those fragrances that puts you in a good mood; you can sense the quality of the ingredients. I agree that longevity is very good for a citrus floral. The price is very high but worth it; very similar to Sole di Positano but surpassed in longevity. I bought the Divain dupe because I don’t want to finish the original, and 10 out of 10 they are 90% similar and equal in duration to the TF.
Centred on citrus and freshness. Although the name suggests tangerine, the top notes are lemon and grapefruit, followed by bitter orange flower. It’s bright, with a sweet and delicious touch of oranges and citrus. What stands out is the quality of the ingredients; it’s as if you were squeezing fresh tangerines and oranges and putting their juice in the bottle. It evokes luminosity and vitality with sunny aromas. Longevity is quite good; although it’s citrus, it lasts significantly on the skin, about 6 to 8 hours. If you’re looking for something that transports you to a sunny day by the sea, it’s an excellent choice. Its combination of citrus and flowers creates energy and optimism. Excellent option for lovers of fresh and vibrant scents!
I heard it on my boyfriend one summer night after the beach; all fresh, with a hint of acidity and that bitter orange flower. I loved it; I didn’t stop smelling it all evening. Very subtle, masculine but without overpowering, simply CLEAN. When he’s not around and I miss it, I just have to mist the room to feel it near; it suits his perfume perfectly. It’s unisex according to reviews, but I get used to smelling it on him and don’t think of using it myself. It’s very beautiful; the bottle with that sea blue reminds me of summer and the sky, fresh and very clean, like just showered. You’re right if you gift it; expensive as a single item, but it’s very different; it’s high perfumery.
I liked it… pity that many people found it very aromatic and slightly sour, as if it ‘smelled of spoiled orange’. The Tom Ford blues haven’t given me good moments.

I thought I’d detect a distinct mandarin note from the name, but it’s a very rich citrus (I do smell mandarin in it). I’d like to buy it because it’s a nothing synthetic scent; the notes are top quality and in my life I’d never smelled a citrus this premium.
I thought it would have tangerine due to the name, but it’s a very rich citrus (I do sense tangerine). I would like to buy it because it is nothing synthetic; its notes are of the best quality, and in my life I had never heard a citrus so ‘premium’.
A cologne made into a Tom Ford perfume. Fresh, elegant, neither sweet nor cloying, nor invasive, and not sour. It has become my favourite. It’s ideal even for a summer night, perfect for going out without feeling heavy. It leaves an exquisite trail as you walk. It’s unisex, ideal for working near others looking for something elegant but discreet. It evokes the freshness of a classic cologne, like those worn by grandfathers after a bath. The difference lies in the quality and structure, bearing the Tom Ford seal. A perfect balance between traditional and modern. The negative: the price is too high; it shouldn’t cost more than $50. Is it worth it? Only if it doesn’t represent a financial strain, because the idea is to enjoy it, not suffer it. Otherwise, opt for 4711 (similar to Neroli Portofino). It’s not the same, but considering the price difference, this one seems excessively expensive.
The fragrance of cleanliness. The first thing that surprises is the longevity of its freshness; in a sea of citrus scents that die in half an hour, this one maintains its herbal and green character. I don’t perceive tangerine, but grapefruit and lime work in harmony, giving it a lively opening. Then comes an almost surgical cleanliness: it smells like freshly washed skin with expensive neutral soap. As it dries down it flattens a little, but remains refined. At times I recall that dry, sharp wood when sharpening a pencil; a curious nuance. Although my favourite Tom Ford is Costa Azzurra, this is very wearable. If Bal d’Afrique is the ethereal side of the ‘clean smell’, Mandarino di Amalfi is a rougher, fresher, almost clinical cleanliness. The civet note, if present, I don’t detect; perhaps it only serves as an anchor. I give it 7/10: for evoking white sheets dried in the sun with a lemon branch swaying in the breeze.
Like many, I thought it would feature tangerine, but it doesn’t; however, I don’t dislike it. It’s one of my favourites. It’s the only citrus that doesn’t fade immediately; you feel grapefruit, lime and basil giving way to shiso, bitter orange and coriander without losing freshness. Mint keeps it clean alongside vetiver and musk. It leans towards masculine, but that’s exactly what I like so much.
Spectacular opening, fresh and packed with citrus, but as it dries down it flattens out and only the jasmine remains.
Ideal for the heat. Precious citrus notes that give you an instant boost. Smells like summer on the Mediterranean coast. Longevity and sillage are moderate, but they work perfectly for this type of scent.
