Descripción

Tadzio by Homoelegans is an aromatic citrus fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2015, the nose behind this composition is Michele Marin. The top notes unfold with cucumber, ivy, lime, and orange; the heart reveals sea water, blackcurrant, and orange blossom; while the base notes settle on periwinkle, opoponax, patchouli, and musk.

It smells super fresh, perfect for heat, summer, or spring. It starts very citrusy and then gives a salty touch, like the sea, perhaps due to the sea water note, I’m not sure, but that’s the sensation. It’s lovely, well-balanced, and appeals to everyone because it doesn’t smell invasive or like something you haven’t heard before. It seems to have good sillage and longevity for an aquatic fragrance, top quality, and it smells rich. If you like citrus aquatic scents, it’s worth trying.

  • It smells super fresh, ideal for hot climates, summer, or spring. The opening is very citrusy and then you get a sea-like scent that makes it salty, perhaps because of the sea water note, I’m not sure, but that’s the feeling. It’s a lovely, well-balanced fragrance that everyone seems to like, probably because it doesn’t smell invasive or like something you haven’t heard before. It seems to have good sillage and longevity for being quite aquatic, very good quality, and it smells rich. If you like citrus aquatic perfumes, this one is worth a try.

Generally, I’m not a fan of fresh and aquatic fragrances, but here the resinous and balsamic elements balance it very well and make it more long-lasting. The longevity is good, though after four hours only the smoky touch of the resins remains. The projection is moderate. The opening is excellent and distinctive, thanks to the combination of periwinkle and cucumber that makes it special. I think it’s a very good option for daily wear in hot weather. Scent: 8, Longevity: 8, Sillage: 6.5, Value for money: 5, Originality: 8, Versatility: 10, Overall: 8.

  • Although I’m not a fan of fresh and aquatic perfumes, here the resinous and balsamic part balances it brilliantly and makes it more enduring. The longevity is good, though after four hours only the smoky touch of the resins remains. The projection is moderate. The opening is excellent and different from similar ones, due to the blend of periwinkle and cucumber that makes it special. A very good option for daily use in the heat. • It is citrusy and aquatic, but not in the usual way, with peach and licorice standing out on my skin. It smells of pure elegance and leans towards the feminine side due to the peach. That’s why it will catch women’s attention without making you feel uncomfortable wearing it if you’re a man, unless you’re looking for roundly masculine scents (in which case, this isn’t for you). It projects well and lasts a long time, and it smells great, of course. It’s a unisex scent leaning feminine; if you’re a man, it demands elegance, even if you’re wearing a linen shirt (I can’t see it with trainers).

  • After trying several options, my version of Tadzio is like an orange vitamin C tablet dissolving in water; if there’s a doctor around, they’ll recognise that scent. Within minutes it tries to be fresh with notes of cucumber and melon, but by 10 minutes the ivy and sea water overwhelm it, turning it salty, dry, and citrusy. There are better marine options out there, such as Costa Azzurra TF or Sel Marin by Heeley. Basically, they took Zoologist’s Civet, removed the wood and chocolate, and added seaweed and sea water. It lasts seven hours. I’d give it 5 out of 10. Quality Of Flesh remains my favourite from the house.
