Descripción

The Perfect Vanilla Elixir by Ori Russo is an oriental vanilla fragrance for men and women. This creation, signed by perfumer Nina Lamaison, was launched in 2024. Its olfactive pyramid unfolds with a top of Madagascar vanilla, Irish Baileys cream, toffee and dates; a heart of crème brûlée, whipped cream, brown sugar and vanilla orchid; and a base of vanilla absolute, white chocolate, ice cream, caramel and Peru balsam.

  • How delicious! It’s sweet but not cloying, ideal for the day as it doesn’t invade. I found it to be the softest of the entire Ori line; the vanilla is very well integrated. In my view, if you like sweet gourmands and vanilla scents, you can buy it blind. I see it as valid for all seasons.

  • Very tasty! It’s sweet but not cloying at all; it can be worn during the day and isn’t invasive. In fact, I found it to be the softest of all Ori’s perfumes. The vanilla is very well accompanied. In my opinion, you can buy it blind if you like sweet gourmands and vanilla scents. I see it as suitable for all seasons.

  • I have to confess that at first I didn’t like it… and then I absolutely loved it! Haha. I was waiting for Ori’s new launch without knowing what it was, and I told her I wanted a perfume that smelled like crème brûlée because I’d never sensed that aroma before—I have a lip balm with that scent that I adore. I blurted it all out without thinking she’d already created it. Although I knew it would be vanilla, I never imagined it would be exactly what I was searching for 😍😍. It became my favourite, even dethroning Coco Russh 🤩. Obviously, it’s not just crème brûlée; at first, I notice Baileys cream and dates ✨. Within minutes, the vanilla, crème brûlée (which dominates a lot in my opinion 🤩), whipped cream 🤤 appear. I also detect white chocolate and a touch of caramel 💖. The vanilla and crème brûlée linger on my skin, which is why I love it 🤍. It’s my favourite elixir 🤎. I debuted it on my birthday and have received many compliments since then 💖. It lasts a long time on skin and clothes, I won’t even tell you! It has good projection, so I’m sure I leave a delicious trail as I pass by, haha. It doesn’t resemble Burberry Goddess, Bianco Latte, Escapade Gourmande, or Khamrah. It’s the perfect crème brûlée dessert with accompanying notes, super original and tasty. That must be why everyone wants it ✨. Suitable for blind buying 🤎, especially if you love edible scents like me, haha, but it also makes you feel elegant; it’s incredible 🤍. Try it!

  • I have to say, honestly, I didn’t like this perfume… until I realised I absolutely loved it! Haha. • I was fascinated from the very first spray. I tested it as a decant alongside other designer fragrances, and its trail is incredibly superior. I love the scent: it’s not just another market vanilla; it’s distinct and very gourmand. I can definitely taste the dates, toffee, vanilla, and white chocolate—it’s like a crème brûlée. As it dries down, the Peru balsam emerges, adding seduction without being merely sweet. I’m not usually a huge fan of unisex scents, but this is perfect for both. I’d wear it in winter or autumn as it’s warm; in spring, I prefer softer options. In short, I loved it. If you like gourmands and vanilla, it’s for you. 10/10, good work Ori ♥

  • After a couple of weeks, the perfume has concentrated a lot. It soaks into clothes and is noticeable for days. Give it time to know its true longevity and projection. The opening is like all four notes together: you can feel the Irish cream without it being boozy. Half an hour in and until the dry-down, a vanilla that goes towards a very sweet and creamy white chocolate ice cream predominates. It’s a warm, gourmand vanilla that reminds me of the warmth of the tonka bean in Belle Le Parfum, being different perfumes. Personally, it leads me to wear it in cold climates. Although it’s not cloying, you need to be careful with the sprays as it does have potency.

  • Oh, what a disappointment. Luckily a friend tried it on a decant, so I didn’t waste the full size. On my skin, it lasts barely an hour, which is far too short. Instead of the promised vanilla, it smells minty and simply doesn’t convince me. Plus, the bottle is poor quality; the cap with that plastic silver rim is a definite negative. It’s the same packaging used by the Guillermina Valdés line, which costs $30,000 and looks much better. In short, it’s overpriced: for £135 you could get a 100ml Bianco Latte, and even a body splash would last longer and offer better value.

  • After two weeks, the perfume has concentrated significantly; it clings to clothes and lasts for days. Give it time to reveal its true longevity. It opens with all four notes blended together; you can detect the Irish cream, though it isn’t boozy. Half an hour in, a white chocolate ice-cream-style vanilla takes over—very sweet and creamy. It’s a warm, super-gourmand vanilla that reminds me of the tonka bean in Belle Le Parfum, although they are different scents. I’d wear it in cold weather. It’s not cloying, but you need to be careful with the sprays as it has some punch.

  • Unfortunately, this perfume didn’t meet my expectations. Luckily a friend bought a decant and not the full size. Its longevity is barely an hour on my skin, which is very little. Instead of the expected vanilla note, I perceive a mentholated aroma that I don’t like. Also, the bottle design seems of poor quality; the cap, with a silver plastic rim, is a negative point. The bottle is the same used for the Guillermina Valdés line, which costs $30,000 and has notably superior quality. In summary, I feel this perfume is overpriced and the price ($150,000 ARG = $126 USD, for $135 you can buy Bianco Latte 100ml) doesn’t match the fragrance quality; even a body splash lasts longer and offers better value for money.

I bought the Coco Russh and Ori sent me a sample of this elixir and by Godss, I feel I tried the perfect vanilla, just as its name says. I’m a lover of crème brûlée and when I applied it, I felt that vanilla flooded with that dessert plus that little touch of Baileys; I couldn’t believe something so rich. As if it weren’t enough, a few minutes later that exquisite white chocolate appeared, and that was enough to know: I found my perfect vanilla. From the reviews, I thought it was a vanilla with a little chocolate, but guys, nooo, it really delivers on its promise and beats many niches like Bianco Latte. Two weeks ago I bought the new Tucci which also has lots of white chocolate because I love that note and nothing to do with it. It’s as if Ori’s Elixir had the most expensive Swiss white chocolate in Switzerland, and the Tucci Chocolate Misky, hehe, no offence. As I said in the Coco Russh review: you’re buying quality. I really love perfumes and want to have many, but it’s worth buying just one by Ori, for 2 or 3 domestic ones! Not just for the super-niche aroma and beautiful packaging, but also because this perfume lasts forever. Addictive, I’m smelling the decant every 10 minutes hehe. PS: my boyfriend never compliments my perfumes as he’s a bit allergic, but this is the first one he did. He already told me that as soon as he can, he’ll buy it because he wants to smell like this 🥹

Finally, my 110ml bottle. I don’t want to seem bold reviewing this beauty after just three days of use, but I’m very happy I bought it blind. It’s a spiced vanilla sweetened with cream; its opening notes mark the personality of this jewel. To be graphic, it smells like a Christmas vanilla cookie soaked in Baileys. I highly recommend it, at least try it on skin. I think it’s easy to like, ideal for cooler climates and in summer by moderating the sprays. As I know it’s hard to get, to give you an idea: if you know December Vanilla by Paris Corner, it’s in that ballpark. It’s not the same; I like them together but I prefer this one as it doesn’t have patchouli, making it a less classic and totally gourmand vanilla. I’ll put them side by side so you get an idea, as they share many notes and Perfect Vanilla reminded me of December Vanilla when I first smelled it. Regarding longevity and projection, it’s going well for now; I’m satisfied. I won’t give more detail because I know time will tell. Congratulations Ori! Mini update: my partner and I found it similar to Bade’e Al Oud Honor & Glory. Deliii.

What I smell most is an ointment scent, something like Hepathalgin. A nightmare. I didn’t like it at all. I also smell something masculine.

  • To be honest, yes, it does have an air of Bianco Latte, especially in the dry-down. But to me, it seems fresher and more floral; it would be like a fresh version of Bianco Latte that makes it look more elegant. It’s very delicious!

  • The perfect Vanilla Elixir is a unique fragrance. It might remind you of Eclaire by Lattafa or Bianco Latte by Giardini di Toscana, but they are NOT the same. This perfume is special, completely geared towards gourmand lovers. On the first splash on skin, pure vanilla emerges, just like from a bakery. Then the Baileys alcohol and a caramel typical of a homemade flan appear (I’m not sure if it’s like a pannacotta). It’s cloying, definitely positioned for autumn/winter. It captivates me. Definitely worth its price.

This perfume is nothing like what I expected; it’s much better! If I imagined a sweet vanilla, it’s absolutely sensual and sexy; I picture it for a date where you know there’s going to be action, hehe. Completely feminine, elegant, sexy, and imposing. I see myself wearing this with good stilettos, a fitted blazer, loose hair, and red lips; it’s like the perfume says: ‘excuse me, I’m taking over and you’re feeling like a total queen’. I don’t think it’s something to buy blindly as it’s spiced and won’t suit everyone, but it blew my mind! For me, it’s a night fragrance, elegant and extremely sexy thanks to the Baileys.

This magnificent niche fragrance opens with an edible spiced vanilla that lasts throughout the wear. As it evolves, I notice the white chocolate and an exquisite caramel. It’s an addictive elixir of ingredients: feminine, magical, sweet but not heavy, very wearable. It’s luxury in a bottle. It’s not a typical vanilla; it’s the vanilla fragrance, but richer than others I’ve tried. I love it and will continue to. Proud to have an Argentine niche by Ori Russo, crafted by perfumer Nina Lamaison. Excellent, unique, and incomparable.

  • Mmm, I thought it was edible vanilla from my childhood… noooo, nothing like that! It’s adult spiced vanilla with a strong, lasting winter presence. It’s not really my style, but if you like all that, it’s perfect because it’s eternal.

  • One of the most exquisite vanillas I’ve ever tried! I barely sprayed it and fell in love at first sight. Initially, it smells like pure vanilla essence, then the Baileys and white chocolate come in, but that vanilla lingers until the very end. My only gripe so far is the longevity and sillage on my skin; they are very scarce (happens with almost everything). It’s undoubtedly my favourite fragrance, and if the longevity improves, it will be my signature.
