Ironically, it’s my most affordable fragrance and the one that gets the most compliments when I wear it. Many people say it’s overused, but it’s actually a very well-crafted scent, key for any situation. Ideal for starting a collection or having something versatile and youthful with that characteristic sweetness of the Eros line.
I love the scent. The citrus-minty opening is super refreshing and vibrant, a real delight. Then the vanilla takes centre stage, giving it a seductive and enveloping touch. It’s quite manly, ideal for those seeking something that leaves a mark, and the best part is that women love it too. It lasts about seven hours, which is decent for these days. I bought it at a good price, so I don’t mind reapplying if necessary. It remains pleasant and personal all day without losing its essence, a big plus. I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for something fresh, with a seductive touch, that lasts several hours. For nights and cool days… I wouldn’t recommend it in the heat. Rating: 8.5/10.
To be honest, as my first designer perfume, I expected more trail and projection. The scent itself is 10/10, very rich, pleasant citrus at first and then vanilla, until it sits close to the skin where it feels more woody and aquatic. It lasted six hours on my skin and much longer on clothes. It’s an exquisite fragrance, not so much for nights out, but for dates or catching up with friends; perfect if you want to wake up on the right side of the bed.
Personally, I prefer Eros Flame because the Eros EDP on my skin smells like melon bubblegum and toothpaste, as if it had just come out of a sweet shop. It’s not bad, but it doesn’t fit what I was looking for. 6/10.
Although it’s very overused, it’s quite rich, easy to wear and generally pleasing. In my experience (3-4 months), I’ve liked it, though it hasn’t blown my mind. The first time I wore it, I was impressed. Its aromatic note and dry-down vanilla are excellent. The performance is good, giving me its six hours on skin and projecting decently in the first few hours. Conclusion: if, like me, you didn’t know the scent, you like the bottle, or you want something good for everyday wear, buy it (if you can find it at a good price). If you’re looking for something only for special occasions (night, parties), it’s better to go for others with more projection.
Ideal for parties or nights out; it smells wonderful and has projection and longevity slightly better than average (it lasted eight hours on me and is noticeable at 1-2 metres). Perfect for young people, so for me it’s a 10/10. The downside is that it’s common to smell it; literally, if you go out partying or to the square, you’ll smell it everywhere. Is that bad? It depends. If you want to feel exclusive, don’t buy it. If you don’t mind that, go for it; many girls like it and it’s safe to say everyone will enjoy it.
A great fragrance. It lasts eight hours and a day on clothes. It’s citrusy with an apothegmatic opening and very versatile. It can be worn in any season and it wins hearts over girls.
Very good indeed. It’s different from what I expected, but you have to let it dry down to reveal the beast it truly is. The mint is very noticeable and it leaves a classy impression. I’m usually more of a sweet perfume person, but I liked this one; I thought it would have more intensity, so if you want it to feel strong, give it a couple of extra sprays.
I love it. It’s youthful and works brilliantly with mild heat thanks to the top notes, but in extreme heat it turns vanilla-heavy. You can definitely detect the mint, bergamot, and lemon. However, the longevity disappointed me; after four hours, it’s gone completely and needs reapplication, although the trail is good. 9/10.
It’s a fragrance with an interesting evolution; I don’t know how they manage to make it smell mentholated at first and then dry down to something sweet/vanilla, masculine and clean. It’s not a clean Blue-style like Dylan or YSL, but a clean aromatic masculine scent. Like an ‘Italian’ fragrance. With citrus, apple and woods perfectly balanced. A very easy-to-like aroma, harmless, quite sweet but not cloying, with a masculine touch when dry. Correct duration; it becomes noticeable for the first two hours and then fades, staying in a personal bubble until 7 hours. With the heat, it reactivates a bit like Eros Flame. It’s not beast mode. If we compare Eros EDT and Eros EDP, the former is brighter and ‘sparkling’, more showy; you can notice it more easily in the first hours with a stickier and more acidic sweetness. The EDP is more complex and rounded, more masculine. I see it as ideal for spring or summer, suitable for daily or evening use by over-applying. For going out to eat, a walk. It can also work for a date, though it’s a bit generic.
Perfect for summer, absolutely spectacular. Ideal for the gym without a second thought.
The perfume snobs hate it, but so what? Is it popular? Yes. Is it very synthetic? Yes. Is it very youthful? Yes. Do women like it? Yes, and a lot. It smells like mentholated bubblegum and overly sweet. It’s the epitome of a night scent. The name Eros suits it perfectly. It’s the perfume equivalent of putting on your best party outfit, styling your hair with wax, chewing mints, looking in the mirror and saying ‘today you shine, champ’.
A fragrance designed to appeal to the masses, citrusy and sweet. At first, the citrus is noticeable; it has something astringent or bitter, like an unripe orange or lemon with high acidity (similar to Flame); I don’t dislike it, but it can be tiring, and combined with the sweetness, I imagine it could be overwhelming for summer. It’s a joke fragrance or for a casual outing, nothing formal. After half an hour, that acidity fades and the sweetness predominates; it’s fine, nothing extraordinary. Having Flame in my collection, I see it as redundant as they smell very similar. A perfect fragrance for teenagers, especially if obtained at a good price. In my personal taste, it’s a 7.2; if I were to rate it based on what I believe women like, I’d give it an 8.
A sweeter apple, less fresh and with less mint, more woody; the leather and patchouli don’t stand out. It has better performance than the EDT, but I personally prefer the EDT scent, even over the four subsequent releases. There’s a brown bottle that came out last year which I haven’t tried yet. Although it doesn’t last as long as the EDP, I prefer the EDT. 9 out of 10 compared to the EDT which I give a 10. I can’t ask for more from a fragrance where 200 ml (EDT) cost almost the same as 100 ml of EDP: $68 versus $60.
Vibrant, fresh, sweet but masculine. This screams natural chad, power and vigour. The only drawback is its longevity, which isn’t bad but not great either. Women absolutely adore it.
It’s a good perfume; it smells nice despite the reformulations having significantly reduced its performance. Still, given the price, I recommend it as it’s very easy to like.
It’s a delicious, striking masculine scent with that minty touch, making it perfect for mild climates and evenings. Yes, it’s become hugely hyped and some now don’t recommend it, but it remains excellent, especially the EDT. Remember, this is within our perfume enthusiast world—a minority—since most people don’t consider it relevant to spend more than £50 on fragrances, even if it seems everyone uses them; in real life, that’s not the case.
A rich, sweet yet fresh perfume, making it moderately versatile. I think it suits cooler afternoons and evenings better and lasts quite a while.
The opening is citrus-mentholated (like toothpaste), bright, fresh, and super elegant. The best part arrives at the dry down: creamy vanilla with sandalwood, patchouli, and a touch of leather that gives it body. The dry down is hypnotic, inviting you to smell your skin over and over again. For me, it’s the best of Versace. This EDP is more mature and sober than the EDT, but without losing its seductive spark. It’s elegant and versatile for the day, not for smoky clubs, but ideal for quiet night outings. It’s serious, clean, and magnetic. The dry down is addictive. Performance: very good projection for the first 2 hours, longevity of 6-7 hours with clear presence and 10 hours on skin in an intimate way (better than Flame). Lasts days on clothes. Ideal for over 25s, people with a defined character but with a good sense of humour. Personal comparison: EDP is the older brother, elegant and neat; Flame is the younger one, rebellious and party-goer. In conclusion: Mr Perfume Man. Versace put all the meat on the grill. It’s elegant, fresh, sexy, and with spectacular performance. Buy blind without fear, it’s easy to enjoy and if a woman smells it close, she won’t tear herself away.
Took my time testing this as I expected a real bombshell, but it wasn’t quite that. HOWEVER: Versace Eros EDP opens with a fresh, minty, slightly sweet vibe. This freshness lasts an hour before seeming to fade, but no, it’s still there. A while later, I smell melted vanilla over incredible woody notes, and when I check my wrist, I realise, definitely it’s there! Longevity: 8 hours or more. 10/10 Sillage: Moderate; after two hours it settles into a personal bubble. 7/10 Scent: Nothing particularly special, but I swear the base notes have something hypnotic about them. 8/10 TL;DR: If you don’t own the EDT, buy it, it’s excellent.
Hello, mates. This is a must-have for your collection, perfect for dates, friends, or family thanks to that sweet touch of mandarin and vanilla. It’s very well made: versatile, romantic with elegant notes but not overly formal. It’s a warm, noble, and sensual sweetness, ideal for her. On me: longevity 7h, projection 1h, sillage 2h, skin 4h, trail -1.5m (1h). I recommend it as a signature scent for the office, friends, and family. Not for clubs, sport, or formal/semi-formal events. Best for ages 25+. It’s the kind of versatile perfume I recommend for an afternoon date with a girl; if you’re a gentleman who looks the part and knows how to talk, it’s perfect. For the club, use the EDT which projects more. 8/10: flirty, romantic, and intimate.
Finally arrived and it surprised me again. I bought it blind and it was worth it. Upon arriving today, the citrus opening impacted me greatly; it smells of well-marked citrus at the start. It leaves a powerful trail, lasting 2-3 hours on my hand with constant bursts. It’s rich, full of citrus, and potent. As it dries, the vanilla notes appear creating a perfect mix between acidic and sweet. It’s a bit more serious, but ideal for clubs or casual outings if you want to impress.
Versace Eros transforms days into memorable experiences. I use it before going out to eat or in my personal time; it accompanies me with elegance, but on my skin the longevity is limited, so I give it a 6 out of 10.
I’m not sure if I’m an expert, but this fragrance didn’t convince me. I went by the comments and ended up disappointed. It has a strange smell, something heavy, and doesn’t quite end up being pleasant. It seems to want to be fresh, but in the attempt it becomes dense. I’m not sure when to use it: it’s too heavy for heat and too light for cold. It doesn’t convey freshness or anything, simply passes by without glory. It took me a while to get used to it and no one has given me any compliments, although I work with many people. It could serve for daily wear, but far from being the eighth wonder. Oh, and it smells too much like Eros Flame.
It’s my star fragrance, the ultimate compliment machine. I loved it so much that on a date with a friend she said I came across as ‘over the top’ due to the scent. It’s rich, citrusy, and fresh, but with a sweet and creamy touch from the vanilla that makes it elegant and seductive. It radiates youth and is much better than the Eros EDT. The longevity is brutal: 9 hours with a heavy trail that leaves a mark. Projects for 4-5 hours. I picked it up for 39 USD two years ago, now it’s around 50 in Chile. It serves almost for everything, except extreme heat. It’s not hard to enjoy, ideal for 18-30 year olds. Performance is impeccable and the price is decent, fully recommended.
I have it right now and it’s excellent, I love it and would buy it again. Longevity minimum 8 hours, trail 8/10. I receive really good compliments. It’s totally worth it; those who say it doesn’t last probably have a replica.
Batch 11/24: A gift from my girlfriend and I say it without bias, it’s absolutely delicious! I’m sure I’ll buy it again when it runs out. The opening is fresh mandarin and mint, ideal for extreme heat, but be careful: as it dries, it becomes a brutal vanilla bomb, nothing in my collection comes close. In the opening, I notice citrus and mint, but I don’t feel the caramelised apple from the paper, perhaps my olfactory sense isn’t refined yet. The mid-life notes say geranium and ylang-ylang, but honestly I don’t smell them, so I’m not sure if they’re real. As it dries, it smells of vanilla, but not that excessive sweetness that only serves winter; it’s light, easy to wear, versatile for cold and heat, without suffocating. It’s not leather-led, but I imagine that touch makes the vanilla feel creamy. Give it a try, it’s good. I put it on at 7 am and can still smell it on skin and clothes until 4-5 pm, lasting until wash. My girlfriend says the first 2-3 hours it projects massively, then calms down to a personal bubble. Recommended blind, works in any climate. Longevity 10/10, Trail 10/10, Projection 10/10. You won’t regret it.
Caramelised and vanillaised mint with a citrus touch, nothing more. It smells good and others enjoy it. It was my first fragrance when I got interested in this almost 3 years ago. Another performer that I wouldn’t buy again today.
It’s a vibrant fragrance with mentholated citrus openings that last 15 minutes, then turns sweet with mint, earthy, and herbal; by evening, the woody and vanilla base kicks in, adding seriousness. I consider it long-lasting: 6 hours on skin, 7-12 hours on clothes, with moderate trail and good projection. Its versatility makes it pleasant and it receives many compliments. It’s extroverted, charismatic, and youthful without losing elegance.
I’m absolutely blown away; I use it for things beyond its usual purpose. It was a gift from my father, my first designer fragrance at 16 (now 20), and I already have two bottles. With over a hundred reviews for Eros EDP, I’ll skip the notes. It smells divine, starting with apple and mint before becoming dense in minutes, dropping from ambroxan into vanilla and cedar. It’s my daily driver since 2022 across two different climates. Simply rich, dense, and easy to enjoy (despite its density). In heat, two or three sprays, max four. Not always suitable or necessary, and if worn, in small quantities. Versatile, rich, good for discovering notes like mint, apple, and ambroxan. Rich, not overly youthful due to its density, gives a cool sensation, and is easy to enjoy. Batch AD2437.
The quintessential daily: smells good, adapts to all climates, incredible longevity and projection, good price. A beautiful perfume that fulfils everything a daily should have. Very versatile for any situation, adapts to everything. 10/10, recommended as a single fragrance or to complete a small collection.
Versatile with a rich citrus apple opening, reminding me very faintly of YSL Y EDP. Then it becomes sweet and clean thanks to the vanilla and ambroxan. It’s fun, doesn’t bother or invade, perfect for everyday wear. For me, it’s a life-saver; it never fails and is a hit. It meets expectations and everyone likes it. Undoubtedly the best in the Eros line. Recurring purchase.
The opening smells like Raid insecticide… The mint and apple are noticeable upon application. As it dries, the vanilla comes out, which with the citrus leaves a soft and pleasant aroma. In my opinion, it doesn’t last long and needs reapplication. The trail isn’t striking; it feels more personal. I like it; with more longevity and projection it would be perfect.
Hello, I bought this Eros EDP in 2025 for around €40 on offer, so a good price. The scent is hard not to like: fresh with a touch of sweet, a combo that almost always works. It’s the typical signature that serves for everything and fits any context. Important: on my dry skin, with current batches, it lasts about 5 long hours. Nothing like the first batches that exceeded 7. In my opinion, they’ve ‘nerfed’ it quite a bit. A pity because it smells good, but it no longer has the performance of before. If your skin doesn’t retain well, it probably won’t pass 6 hours. Should I recommend it? Yes, but with caveats: don’t buy it in a rush or at full price. When a fragrance loses performance after reformulation, it annoys me. I’d only buy it if there’s a good offer, as I did.
The DNA has been around for over 10 years, so even though the EDP came out six years ago, it doesn’t feel modern in 2026. However, it differs from other sweet perfumes and is unmistakable. Ideal for fresh days; with few sprays, it doesn’t suffocate in the heat. The projection is brutal; people recognise me from metres away.
Very good for any occasion, but slightly burnt. The opening is excellent with that rich caramelised apple. As it dries, the vanilla with the apple works very well; it’s not bad, but rich. The projection is neither weak nor powerful. I use it in summer for the fresh lime. The price isn’t cheap but doesn’t pass $100. It’s delicious, though a bit burnt, so I recommend it. I give it 9/10
Good perfume 😎🤝
Perfect for going out partying: starts bright and sweet as it dries down.
A perfume that delivers and is versatile, yet smells less of citrus or mint and more of vanilla. The scent is very common and reminds me of deodorant due to its mass use. Ideal for dates because girls like it, though not so much for me. Average performance, does the basics ⭐⭐⭐☆☆
The tangerine and orange bring a faint memory of Eros Flame, but overall it’s good. I would prefer the EDT. Note: it has a leather note; if you don’t like it, better look for Flame or the EDT instead.
