It’s the only perfume that lasts hours on my skin; since I put it on it leaves a divine trail and lasts until the next day on clothes until I wash them (coat scarf). It was a blind buy; I’m a fan of Alberto and when I smelled it I didn’t like it because I was used to fruity scents; the change was noticeable I wasn’t used to woody or musky smells. At first I hated it but then I used it more and more and for the past two years it’s my favourite; I won’t change it for anything. Its scent is elegant strong with personality clean floral but with potent notes that leave a delicious smell over time. I bought it at 21 now I’m 24 and my tastes have changed towards stronger fermented scents clean but powerful. Without a doubt I recommend it 100%; there’s nothing in my collection I love more than this.
As of January 2023 it still seems wonderful to me.
The first impression when I sprayed it was ‘lemon’ but not acidic or unbearable rather gentle and refined. Then came a citrus explosion like a yellow mist over the skin. I was surprised it didn’t feel rancid or sharp at the start. It’s quite fresh; it reminded me a lot of Aqua di Gioia although it’s not on the comparison list. After the citrus explosion it transforms into something deeper than a mojito not sweet but soapy evoking a brilliant summer. It’s not floral pink or aquatic; it’s super citrusy. Towards the end the drink note oxidises a bit. It lasts about four hours; the projection isn’t bad but not incredible either. It doesn’t feel synthetic or cheap; it’s quality but it’s not for everyone especially if you’re looking for flowers or princess scents. I still evaluate it for daily use and will add more comments later.
This fragrance is exquisite; it smells of flowers and more flowers. At first there are citrus notes that blend with the floral then it becomes stronger until leaving a floral scent with something woody. I recommend it 100%; the orange blossom is very noticeable.
Is it lovely? Yes. Pleasant? Yes. Common? No. Does it captivate at first sniff? No. The longevity on my skin is fantastic but it didn’t make me fall in love or rather it didn’t surprise me. Not for that reason does it stop being lovely and pleasant but it just stays there.
It used to be wonderful but they reformulated it and now it smells very faint and lasts very little plus it’s pricey.
I love it; it’s citrusy yet sweet. I wish it lasted longer only about four hours. It’s similar to Light Blue but sweeter and more intense when dry. I find it expensive considering its longevity.
Perfect for an adult woman.
It arrived as a sample and at first I didn’t see its worth but once I opened it it transported me back to when my grandmother was alive and we had lemon trees blooming in the garden. I couldn’t stop smelling it and ordered it straight away. For me it’s having her by my side even though she’s no longer here.
Met with it in 2014 in a magazine; at first I thought it was for ladies but the dry-down changed everything: it smells exquisite. On my skin it lasted forever even on clothes; with 50ml it lasted four years with just a little. I haven’t bought it again because they only sell EDT and I have EDP I fear the longevity might be different though I’d risk trying it.
It was a gift before. It smells very well, but I thought it was too mature for me, so I swapped it for something more youthful and fruity. I’d consider it perfect for someone aged 45 and above.
It’s a feminine and giftable perfume, similar in style to Yellow Diamond from the same brand. The first has pear, while this one, Eros, features pomegranate and peony. It has a beautiful and long-lasting dry-down, less innocent than its ‘yellow’ friend. Although the name ‘Eros’ sounds a bit pretentious… in its evolution it reminded me of Gucci Envy (they share notes). The peony in Eros isn’t aggressive, but wearable and less sweet, balanced with the jasmine, which I like and prefer. I associate the scent of pomegranate fruit and cleanliness with a walk after a shower on a summer afternoon. Reassuring, versatile and without harshness. It’s not a bad option for daily wear; soft and daytime. Neither vintage nor sweet.
I like it; it’s citrusy. I bought it by mistake but I liked it. It lasts quite a while.
I wasn’t sure whether to choose this or the EDT. I decided on this jewel and I’ve loved it; it smells marvellous, though it doesn’t last long. Four hours at best today. Reapplying doesn’t bother me. I’m turning towards more intimate and soft perfumes; the very potent ones are tiring me out. I adore this Eros; it reminded me of Aqua di Gioia. Even though it doesn’t last long, I’ll buy another when this bottle runs out.
It’s fresh, smells clean and isn’t heavy. Ideal for hot days. It lasts a maximum of 4 or 5 hours, then you need to reapply. In my opinion, age doesn’t matter; it doesn’t smell ‘mature’, it’s delicate and elegant. I wear it and I’m still only 20.
I used to wear it in high school. Clearly it’s too much for a 15-year-old, but I loved it so much that I wore it every day. On my skin it doesn’t smell so citrusy or fresh; more amber, with a slightly milky undertone. It’s elegant, timeless and long-lasting. The curious thing is that now I can’t stand it. I like it, it’s pretty, but after a few minutes it gives me a headache.
I tried the eau de toilette before and liked it; I wanted to know the perfume for its floral notes. It captivated me from the very first moment. It was created by three great perfumers I admire, so for me it was a guarantee and I didn’t make a mistake. It has three very clear phases: upon spraying, there are the citrus notes, then the flowers emerge (jasmine and peony), and as it dries they blend with woods. In short, flowers with woody touches. The musk and ambroxan give it cleanliness and elegance. It’s versatile; I used it in winter but I think it suits all year round. It will become one of my favourites. I’m delighted to have it.
Delicacy and tenderness. It smells wonderful and has little projection, so it’s impossible to be intrusive. It’s meant to be enjoyed up close. It gives a sense of cleanliness. It has equal parts citrus and sweet notes. Nothing intrusive or harsh, everything in harmony.
It’s a citrus that I believe is the least sweet Vanitas dupe. Fresh and soft, although it doesn’t last long. Still, it’s worth it.
I bought a decant and, after trying it several times as it was barely noticeable at first, I ended up liking it: it’s fresh and elegant, suitable for any occasion. The longevity on my skin is good, around 6+ hours. The sillage is also nice. I’ve read it’s soft, but on my skin it can sometimes be strong, though it always remains fresh and delicate.
I liked it a lot, but my partner absolutely loved it; he was obsessed.
I’ll be brief: elegant, clean and suitable for everyday wear. But it lasts only a breath.
I made a mistake… I tried the EDT and liked it, but by error I took the EDP. When I tested it at home, the intense, balsamic scent with eucalyptus surprised me. I gave it a chance, but I never got used to the smell. It has a citrus top and a floral base that sweetens, but on my skin a strong eucalyptus note dominates from start to finish, as if I’d applied Vicks ointment before putting on the perfume. A pity; it overwhelms and displeases me.
My friend wears it and finds it strong, elegant and rich if you like citrus. It gives off a clean vibe, although some find it smells too feminine.
I had high hopes but bought it in summer expecting freshness, which was a mistake. Perhaps the EDT is fresher, as this EDP is quite dense. I saved it for autumn/winter and it worked well. It’s not my favourite scent; I detect floral and woody notes with little citrus-fruit. The ambroxan and woods are very prominent. What I do appreciate is that luminous jasmine from start to finish. Good performance, but it hasn’t won me over.
Rich, soapy and fresh floral notes at first. Good for everyday wear, especially in spring. The scent and colour go hand in hand. Medium longevity, around six hours.
The most horrible perfume I’ve ever smelled. It leaves a strange eucalyptus scent. It’s odd, so try before you buy. I bought it blind and it sat unused for four years; every time I wore it, it gave me a headache. If you suffer from migraines, stay away.
I wear it to work meetings; it’s elegant, dense, musky and floral, yet not fresh. It has good longevity and projection. I’d recommend it for women over 30. It’s subjective, but I like it. A 6.5.
To me, it smells like that 90s hair fixative used for volume. I didn’t like it at all.
For noses with bold tastes and strong skin: it starts spicy, but as it dries down it transforms into something elegant and subtle that, nevertheless, doesn’t go unnoticed.
It was the first perfume I bought from the Versace collection. It doesn’t go unnoticed, has good projection, is elegant, and I liked it a lot until a girl told me it smelled like ‘Lady’. I suppose it’s because it’s not a modern scent, but a classic one, with its combination of floral and citrus notes.
The only perfume I can tolerate in extreme heat is a lemon with jasmine, scarce in sweetness. I love wearing it with white clothes at a Caribbean resort; I feel clean. Those who love sweetness might hate it, but I like it. It’s not my favourite, but it lasts 7 hours with good projection; the first 2 hours are almost 3🌞
I’m sharing my first impressions… On me, it smells super musky with white flowers; I don’t detect the citrus notes. I’m not sure if the longevity is short or if I experienced olfactory fatigue; after three hours I can’t quite smell it.
I didn’t find it as citrusy, but more floral. I bought it by mistake. It’s not bad; it’s not a heavy perfume.
Citrusy and floral, a clean scent, a little elegant/sophisticated. Yes, on my skin the citrus is very noticeable, and as it dries down it becomes creamier, staying luminous and pleasant. It’s not strident or heavy, very agreeable, a ’round’ scent.
I tried it in-store and at first it reminded me of Agatha Ruiz de la Prada’s colour drops, very youthful and yellow. I bought it, tried it on my skin, and I don’t detect any citrus notes. The floral and sandalwood parts are quite strong, lasting throughout the day. By the fourth hour, the jasmine takes on a lot of strength and reminds me of the scent of my patio; it’s very tender.
Luminous femininity. The opening is citrusy and delicious, with fleshy flowers that envelop from the very first second. Very feminine, with the peony adding a floral-fruity nuance reminiscent of peach skin. It’s perfect for everyday wear, especially in summer, when you want to smell good without being cloyingly sweet. In the end, clean and woody notes give an elegant finish. Perhaps it’s not the first choice in a large collection, but it is a rich and reliable scent, ideal for those seeking fresh and versatile femininity. My rating: 8/10. It delivers what it promises: fresh feminine scent with a sensual and luminous touch. Although it’s not the most surprising option, it is a pleasant and safe perfume for everyday use.
When I have a special event during the day, after my shower I spray Molecule 01 twice and three times of this wonder. And magic happens. It’s the cleanest, neatest, and most elegant scent you can imagine. It doesn’t go unnoticed; there isn’t a day I wear it without someone asking.
I own both versions of Eros Pour Femme, and although they share the same name, they behave differently on the skin. I find the EDT more linear, with a bright opening of red fruits and citrus that stays consistent. It’s fresh, comfortable, and easy to wear. It doesn’t evolve much, but it doesn’t need to: it works, accompanies me, lasts well, and usually receives compliments. The EDP, however, does evolve. It starts citrusy, then the woods emerge, with a subtle sandalwood that, in my opinion, makes it more grounded and enveloping. Both are lovely. For untrained noses, a shop assistant saying ‘the EDP is more concentrated’ is enough. But in my view, it’s not just concentration; they are two distinct perfumes with their own timelines and personalities.
My brother is the only one brave enough to gift me perfume. I have very specific tastes, so guessing right isn’t easy, but he always manages it. Eros was my birthday present in 2025 and I loved it instantly. For reasons I can’t quite explain, I detect a hint of pineapple; to me, it feels more fruity than floral. It’s not purely citrus; it has a strength that makes it stand out. It’s intense and characterful, so I don’t wear it in summer. I save it for spring or autumn, when the weather allows without being overwhelming. It has presence and personality, and above all, a special emotional value because it came from him.
