  The neroli at the beginning is lovely and the vanilla doesn’t appear on my skin, although the base does leave a soft sweetness.

  I love it! It’s super feminine and floral. I don’t know how to describe it because I struggle to detect the individual notes; I just say it’s floral, slightly citrusy and very rich. It seems to me that all the notes blend very well.

  It’s the daughter of Lolita, full of life and zest for living. It conveys happiness, has high-quality essences and a price that should be much higher. I love the clementine note and the vanilla that emerges is top-notch. I’d give it to my daughter before Anais, as the French often do; it’s youthful but not childish, without falling into kitsch. I bought it recently and I’m delighted.

  A beautiful, tender and cheerful perfume that evokes tenderness and happiness. It has a moderate sillage, perfect for enclosed spaces and for being close to people, radiating calm. Its longevity is moderate, around six hours, but since I love it, I reapply and it becomes wonderful again. They say the nose generates emotion before analysis, and to feel feminine, tender and happy, this is the one for you.

  A very rounded and soft scent, ideal for any age or occasion. It’s pleasant but too subtle, with no sillage at all; it lasts three hours on the skin. The same goes for other versions of Vanderbilt that aren’t the classic: if they cut the range and focus on ensuring at least two smell better and last longer, there would be no problem. They sell for 8 euros for 100 ml, but you have to apply double the amount compared to a Zara EDT. The good thing is it doesn’t smell of alcohol.

It would be great if they reduced the range and improved the longevity of at least two of them, as I would then consider buying one. At €8 for 100ml, it costs double a Zara EDT, although the good thing is it doesn’t smell like alcohol.

  I’m not one for long reviews; I’ll just tell you how I feel. At first, I adored Miss Vanderbilt: fresh with a very subtle citrus touch. But then I realised it smelled just like that tub of talcum powder with butterflies that Avon sold in Mexico back in 2009-2010. At first, it was nice to remember, but over time it turned sour, like that deodorant that by the end of the day smells like perfume mixed with sweat. I applied very little and was already tired of the scent. I know many people love it, but I wouldn’t wear it again for working in the office all day.

  I’m not one for writing long reviews; I prefer to explain how fragrances make me feel. With Miss Vanderbilt, I have mixed emotions. At first, I sensed something fresh and pleasant, a very light citrus note. Then I realised: I’d used this extensively in my youth. It’s very specific; it smells exactly like the Avon body powder from the catalogues in Mexico, the tube with butterflies that I used in secondary school between 2009 and 2010. Back then, I didn’t dislike it and yesterday I was pleased to recognise it. The problem arose with time: the initial freshness faded, leaving an irritating sensation, something sour. It reminds me of deodorant that smells like perfume in the morning but like sweat by the end of the day. I applied very little and yet I grew tired of the scent. I know many people love it, but I don’t think I’ll use it again, especially for wearing it all day in the office.
