Umm, it smells wonderful. A woody fragrance, very fresh and youthful. It’s not heavy and is highly versatile. It just lacks a bit more longevity and projection, but the scent is very well crafted.
Although hard to source, I recommend it for its excellent value. The scent is exquisite and masterfully blended, with a fresh, sparkling opening thanks to the unusual combination of lavender and bitter orange. A hint of pepper gives it that oriental touch the brand is known for. After half an hour, subtle nutmeg emerges, evolving into woody notes sweetened by marzipan and oud, adding body without being sombre. This broadens its appeal and distances it from the classic. The trail is reasonable with mediocre projection, best for intimate enjoyment. It receives compliments for the first hour, then only on the neck, leaving a lasting impression due to its personality. Timeless, though it loses some impact outdoors at night. Ideally suited for autumn for me.

You can definitely detect the marzipan accord; it gives it a youthful, sweet touch. Despite being nearly 20 years old, it smells modern, nothing like the cloying or sickly-sweet perfumes of today; it’s sweet, woody and fresh. If it had better longevity it would be brilliant, but I love its intimate character, perfect for dates, in the style of D&G The One or YSL La Nuit. They aren’t similar, yet they serve the same purpose. Very good.
