Smells absolutely brutal, fresh, modern and versatile, very charming. It doesn’t last long, around 3-4 hours, but the price is spot on. It’s youthful without being childish, masculine and modern, a blend between a fougère and a generic blue fragrance, updated with a touch of Aventus DNA (without exaggeration, it’s not a clone like so many out there). It has total versatility. Blind buy? Yes, it won’t hurt, and if you see it for between £20 and £25, don’t think twice. Look for it on any online perfumer website or at Druni, where you can test it if you live in Spain.

I was gifted a sample and I can see two similarities: the citrus opening of Dior Homme Sport and a base reminiscent of Vibrant Leather and those Aventus knock-offs. The perfumer is the same one who created Aventus, so it’s no surprise. I haven’t tried Roja’s Apex, but in the Anglo-Saxon community they say they are similar. It’s masculine and generic, and the latter isn’t necessarily a negative. Very versatile. Longevity is mediocre on my skin and the price is too high (£40). If the price drops, it’s not a bad blind buy.

In Spain today, it’s only sold at Druni. I’m a huge fan of the Cerruti 1881 line, but this Silver Night seems dispensable, too similar to Montblanc Explorer with a mossy-earthy addition. In my opinion, it’s much better to spend the money on the superb 1881 Silver and 1881 Essentiel.
