Descripción

Spicebomb Metallic Musk by Viktor&Rolf is a spicy oriental fragrance for men. This creation, launched in 2025, is signed by perfumer Jean-Christophe Herault. Its olfactive pyramid unfolds with top notes of aldehydes, black pepper, elemi, and bergamot; a heart composed of pepper, cinnamon, and lavender; and a base that reveals musk, leather, ambrette musk, and labdanum.

  • This is bn rich!!! If you like the essence of Spicebomb, you’ll love this. It’s the Original, but as it dries, the scent is bn clean and creamy. I’m not an expert, but I own every one in the line, and this is the most different without abandoning its characteristic spicy smell. Brutal longevity, more than the Extreme and the Infrared EDT (which, for me, is the one that lasts the longest). I love it; the wait was worth it!

  • Spicebomb in a clean version. The most versatile of all while retaining the line’s DNA. Excellent performance.

  • What a find. It evolves constantly, leaving a spicy-clean trail that leaves you absolutely delighted.

  • Agreeing with Monchester: it doesn’t surpass the original EDT, but resembles it greatly. I wonder what the point of this flanker is, whose only difference is the opening. Smells like clean clothes that doesn’t last long; the rest is basically the classic Spicebomb. That blend could be interesting, but those notes are volatile, and in the end, there’s hardly any difference from the classic, which, by the way, is a great perfume.

  • For me, it doesn’t surpass the EDT. The dry-down and DNA are similar, but this new flanker is more ‘creamy’, as if it had a layer of moisturising cream or shower gel on top. The mellowing makes it less bright, more subdued, and reduces the projection, although that’s understandable for an EDP. It lasts about 6-7 hours. I think it will circulate for a while, whereas the EDT, though reformulated, will endure stoically.

Very similar to the OG, but more versatile and youthful. I feel it’s creamy and light, likely due to the lavender; totally unisex. Smells like expensive laundry softener, concentrated and refined. I think it’s the only one in the line that can handle summer heat, though not sweat: the cinnamon and pepper don’t mix well with that. It has great evolution, clean yet spiced in a way that works for specific moments, like other Spicebombs. It’s not ‘beast mode’; it’s ‘come closer to me’, for hugging or greeting up close.

Very similar to the original but more versatile and youthful. I find it creamy and light, thanks to the lavender, and it smells totally unisex. Almost like a high-end, concentrated fabric softener. I think it’s the only one that holds up in summer heat, though if you sweat heavily, the cinnamon and pepper don’t work well. It has great evolution, clean yet slightly spicy, ideal for specific occasions. As an EDP, it’s not loud or projecting; it stays close to the skin with a very pleasant personal bubble. It’s not beast mode, but rather ‘come closer’, perfect for hugs or close greetings.

Tested in-store: starts with a swirl of spicy, tingling notes, then calms down into a cinnamon soap scent. It’s unusual; everything is restrained, projecting nothing and leaving no trail; the strength lies in the dry-down. As they say, it’s a second skin, a cleansing effect without being overwhelming. I’m not sure if the price is justified by this performance; there are cleaner options that are better, but I understand why many love cinnamon. After four hours, it reminded me of the Jaipur EDT without the vanilla. Between liking it and not, I’ll keep searching for a dupe at Fragrance World.
