Flowerbomb Nectar by Viktor&Rolf

My go-to perfume 😍. Smells different and makes me feel unique. People never stop asking what I’m wearing. I only use it for events because I can’t find it in Argentina, but when I travel, I order it. It doesn’t smell like anyone else; it leaves its own trail and stays impregnated in the clothes for days. Buy blind, you won’t get bored of it. I LOVE it.

Very unique, not for everyone. It has a metallic note that makes it unusual. It’s strong, very sweet, and lasts a long time. If you like florals, you’ll adore it. I recommend trying it before buying because it smells like nothing else on the market.

Sexy. Sweet and velvety, just before becoming excessive. The magic lies in the balance between cloying and sensual. It’s a bomb of pleasure in a dry vanilla, floral, and fruity setting, like a silk handkerchief that raises the skin’s goosebumps. I’d bluntly call it a perfume for ‘picking up’, attracting through that sweet and feminine prism. The blend is very well executed, fine, veiled, and highly attractive.

I thought I would love it. I bought it blind for the notes and reviews. But it smells awful to me, very artificial, and it makes my nose itch. I’m unfortunately rejecting it. An unrequited love.

Flowerbomb Nectar is one of the best commercial perfumes today. It has a used accord, but it combines differently and more strikingly thanks to an added note that makes the experience special. I love it. Very fruity at the start, creamy and sensual jasmine, and a vanilla-dried down that is warm and sweet. The most striking thing is that its entire evolution features a ‘weird’ note, the gunpowder. It gives it a distinct and aromatic touch that balances the sweetness and I’m thrilled. It remains very sweet, but it doesn’t seem cloying or annoying to me. It’s similar to other Flowerbombs but warmer, sweeter, and less floral. It definitely wins over all. Longevity varies between 8-12 hours, with very noticeable projection and sillage for the first 2-3 hours. Very good. Totally feminine. Suitable for mild/cool days. Sensual, sexy, ideal for going out and conquering, because you won’t go unnoticed. In summary: I love it. Unique, with personality, addictive, and superior performance. I would buy it again a thousand times.

My favourite so far: a refined, balanced sweet gourmand. Beware of the opening; if you aren’t well-hydrated, the gunpowder note can turn nasty, even fishy. But if you prep correctly, it’s exquisite: peach juice, citrus, and osmanthus pollen, jasmine, and orchid creating a concentrated nectar. Although I won’t admit it, it smells strongly of orange at first. Trying Flowerbomb Orchid sounds like the perfect drying down of this nectar, with just peach, orchid, and vanilla. I recommend it a thousand times; it’s the best in the line.

It is the youthful, seductive, and playful sister of the original: more vanilla sweetness that goes unnoticed in the first. Great trail and unforgettable, leaving a mark in the room. You like sweets, it reminds you of a tart sweet. Viktor&Rolf has quality; this flanker is worth it. Its longevity is much better than the original, which is appreciated.

I took a long time to get it and was anxious, worried about the high price. It wasn’t what I expected: not explosive or groundbreaking, suitable for day or night. Described as floral-fruity-sweet-fresh, but the notes give another impression. Like Scandal By Night, but less scandalous: sweet, tranquil, without being cloying. The patchouli is noticeable, treated silkily with the flowers. The gunpowder makes it addictive, like the effect of gasoline or burning matches (without smelling like it, but makes you keep smelling, sometimes spicy). Light trail, perhaps due to the style, but more sprays change the concept. Super beautiful aroma, conquered my night notes. Highlights vanilla and patchouli. The price is high, reminiscent of a Victoria’s Secret mist or Jimmy Choo fragrances. I’ve already smelled cheap imitations and they are too similar. I don’t recommend owning more than one from this line; they are very similar. I didn’t want to keep it; it wore me out quickly. Edit: What relief to get rid of them, I only remember the patchouli and how long it lasted on my clothes.

Chic, special, and unique aroma, with brutal longevity and trail. It lasted on me easily for 24 hours. It does not remind me at all of the original Flowerbomb; they are very different to my nose.

I ignored it in the perfumeria because ‘it is too sweet for me’, until I ended up buying two bottles. One day I simply fell in love. It stuck to my coat and for more than three weeks the scent remained there, sending floral and musky signals. In winter it is wonderful and lasts a long time. The gunpowder gives strength to the opening and mixes perfectly with the floral and sweet. I have received several compliments; colleagues recognise me before I see them (I swear I don’t bathe in perfume, only 10 sprays). I want it to stay among my perfumes.

A delicious scent that brings back memories of opening a tin of peaches in syrup, then the floral nectar emerges, finishing with a caramel you won’t find in any shop. Reminded me of Flowerbomb and Bonbon on steroids. My best purchase before closing out 2020.

I bought it because, according to reviews, it was very long-lasting and sweet, just how I like, especially since perfumes barely last on me. The first time I smelled it I thought: ugh, I don’t think I’ll like this. When I got home and applied it, at six hours my partner (who has complicated taste, nothing pleases him) said: you smell delicious! For me, that was a victory. I recommend it highly, try it and give it time, don’t judge it at first sniff. For me, it’s a resounding yes.

I was very curious about it because everyone seeks it and the reviews are good. I bought a decant and it was HORRIBLE for me. It smells of strong, strange gunpowder (why did they add that?). Far from pleasant, it smells like a party firework. Here in CDMX on New Year’s Eve, neighbours ‘bang’ all night and that burnt gunpowder smell lingers. This perfume smells exactly like that. Horrible and a bad experience.

Sweet floral. For those of us who love sweets, it’s a must-have. It’s exquisite, good quality, with good longevity and sillage. Worth it. Only for lovers of extra-sweet scents.

What an original scent! The gunpowder note stands out, but it’s a totally sweet and exquisite perfume with perfect sillage and good longevity. But I insist, the gunpowder gives the fragrance great originality.
