Descripción

Flowerbomb Nectar by Viktor&Rolf is an oriental floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2018, this composition was created by Domitille Michalon Bertier, Olivier Polge, Dominique Ropion and Carlos Benaïm. The top notes feature a combination of gunpowder, blackcurrant and bergamot; the heart reveals osmanthus, orange blossom and sambac jasmine; while the base rests on vanilla, tonka bean, benzoin and patchouli.

  • It is the richest, most pleasurable, and sexy thing a woman can have on her skin. It smells of pure vanilla, like a Crème brûlée dessert style… it is a bomb, it is delicious… I am dying for this perfume.

  • Sofia Carbonell

I have not had the pleasure of smelling this perfume yet; it has not reached my city… but with just reading what it contains, being a Flowerbomb version and by Viktor&Rolf, I want to have it. I am waiting for it with bated breath.

  • OrianaChastain

Delicious! On its opening, it is perceived as sweet and slightly acidic, I suppose due to the blackcurrant, and I cannot tell which note it is but I perceive something slightly mentholated. All this lasts for around an hour, after which it continues with the vanilla without losing that slightly acidic point that reminds you of little sweets. By the end, the vanilla persists along with some spicy and serious notes, perhaps the gunpowder? I do not know. Recommended for winter, yes or yes, because it can become so sweet it might give you a headache. Good sillage and longevity.

Ugh, it was a completely blind purchase; I knew I should not have done that but I am stubborn. Again, I let myself be swept away by reviews about this perfume, which is sweeter than the traditional Flowerbomb. And yes, it is sweeter but it did not kill me; I find it a mature sweet for my taste. It is a powerful scent like the others, but I wanted to get rid of the urge and try a Flowerbomb straight away, so I found an offer. As mentioned before, yes, it has an acidic, sweet opening… and over time the powerful patchouli and vanilla appear, which for me is what stands out most at the end. It is a sweet scent, but wow, one must know how to apply it to not bother others.

  • Back in October 2019 I was hunting for this perfume to try it, and finally I did. Well, I liked it. It is not groundbreaking or ‘how original!’, but as much of a sweet tooth as I am, a well-made sweet treat always catches my attention. Since I applied it, it reminded me of something I already know and have in my wardrobe: Avon’s Imari Elixir. Some phases of both are very similar. This Nectar (a fitting name, by the way) is very sweet, like a syrup of some red fruit (blackcurrant) but contained. The gunpowder gives it a slight metallic touch, nothing extravagant or explosive. The vanilla, tonka, and benzoin contribute a rich, balsamic sweetness and aromaticity towards the end. The florals are not very noticeable to me and the patchouli is not as pronounced as in the original Flowerbomb or La Vie Est Belle. I am not sure if I should buy it, as I already have the Imari Elixir which I love and is darker; it would be redundant to have two very similar perfumes. An obvious difference is the price. The case is that the FB Nectar proved very pleasant to me, with tremendous longevity and sillage that surprised me. The bottle looks beautiful. It is for use only in autumn/winter and with caution, as it is very intense. Only for sweet lovers. Best wishes.

Oh my goodness!!! This fragrance went crazy on me; I love sweet scents and this takes the cake. I could not tell you if the notes match what I perceive, but it does not matter to me; I fell in love and had to buy it. Edit: it only took two days wearing it for me to clearly perceive the gunpowder touch and for it to become my favourite fragrance.

  • I love it; a store gave me a sample. It is intense and, as its name suggests, it is a bomb. I loved it so much that I applied it without thinking and my mother didn’t like it; she kept her distance because she dislikes it. I could smell it from one end of the room to where she was, but I was happy on New Year’s Day with such a delicious scent.

  • What I like is the underlying nectar scent, more fruity than floral and not cloying. But the gunpowder and patchouli make it quite invasive, perhaps that is why I have it a bit forgotten.

  • Top fragrance. Unlike the original Flowerbomb, which leaves me indifferent and fades quickly, this is a whole different story. It smells sweet but with a very original touch of gunpowder that is noticeable all the time. The trail is brilliant and it lasted around 15 hours yesterday, ideal for long days without needing to reapply. Well worth it. Scent 8/10, longevity 10/10, sillage 9/10, value for money 8/10, packaging 10/10. Would I buy it again? Yes.

  • If you want to reach Nirvana, try this perfume. It is unique. The gunpowder note gives it so much originality. It is a sensation that cannot be explained in words, indescribable; you have to try it on your own skin. A marvel.

  • What an original scent! The gunpowder note stands out, but it’s a totally sweet and exquisite perfume with perfect sillage and good longevity. But I insist, the gunpowder gives the fragrance great originality.

  • jocelayne

I bought it blind following recommendations… It’s not a perfume that kills me, nor does it displease me; I don’t know why it reminds me of Classique by JPG… I know they aren’t the same… On me, the gunpowder stands out strongly at first. I must say it wasn’t love at first sniff… I don’t think I’ll repeat this perfume…

  • Sweet floral. For those of us who love sweets, it’s a must-have. It’s exquisite, good quality, with good longevity and sillage. Worth it. Only for lovers of extra-sweet scents.

  • It has lasted right on my skin for 24 hours, yes, more than 24! It is the most long-lasting perfume I have ever smelled; it’s delicious and the gunpowder gives it a playful air, very original and with personality. I love it.

  • I was very curious about it because everyone seeks it and the reviews are good. I bought a decant and it was HORRIBLE for me. It smells of strong, strange gunpowder (why did they add that?). Far from pleasant, it smells like a party firework. Here in CDMX on New Year’s Eve, neighbours ‘bang’ all night and that burnt gunpowder smell lingers. This perfume smells exactly like that. Horrible and a bad experience.

  • I’m back here; today I wore it to work and it lasted the whole shift and more. Besides being sweet, YOU SMELL LIKE A TREAT! On me, it’s very sweet and fruity. I love it. I think it will become my signature scent.

  • I bought it because, according to reviews, it was very long-lasting and sweet, just how I like, especially since perfumes barely last on me. The first time I smelled it I thought: ugh, I don’t think I’ll like this. When I got home and applied it, at six hours my partner (who has complicated taste, nothing pleases him) said: you smell delicious! For me, that was a victory. I recommend it highly, try it and give it time, don’t judge it at first sniff. For me, it’s a resounding yes.

  • Nancy281091

Neither at the start nor at the end did I like it. It bears a strong resemblance to Signorina Misteriosa. A very poor buy.

  • A delicious scent that brings back memories of opening a tin of peaches in syrup, then the floral nectar emerges, finishing with a caramel you won’t find in any shop. Reminded me of Flowerbomb and Bonbon on steroids. My best purchase before closing out 2020.

  • It’s a bombshell! But it was too avo-candy for me… What a pity buying blind; it’s a gorgeous perfume. If anyone wants to swap it, please message me! =)

  • I ignored it in the perfumeria because ‘it is too sweet for me’, until I ended up buying two bottles. One day I simply fell in love. It stuck to my coat and for more than three weeks the scent remained there, sending floral and musky signals. In winter it is wonderful and lasts a long time. The gunpowder gives strength to the opening and mixes perfectly with the floral and sweet. I have received several compliments; colleagues recognise me before I see them (I swear I don’t bathe in perfume, only 10 sprays). I want it to stay among my perfumes.

  • lacasitadepan

I bought it blindly because it is hard to find in Chile. I already had a decant of the normal one, nice but it didn’t win me over, so I looked for this one to be more intense and sweet. I was not wrong: it has much more personality. The gunpowder in the opening is interesting; on my dry skin it is like caramelised, but fresher than caramel. It is for a young woman, it does not smell teenage despite the sweetness. Very nice, worth the price.

  • Chic, special, and unique aroma, with brutal longevity and trail. It lasted on me easily for 24 hours. It does not remind me at all of the original Flowerbomb; they are very different to my nose.

  • There are few perfumes that drive me crazy from the start, and this was not the case. I took months to review it because it puzzled me at first, but I gave it a second chance. In spring, my perception changed: it is the perfect season. As its name suggests, it is flower nectar with candied peach, benzoin spices, beautiful patchouli, magnificent vanilla, and the smoky, spicy touch of gunpowder. It is jovial, coquettish, fun, daytime, very sweet and spicy with elegance. Lasts more than 8 hours and has an appreciable trail, a delight. It dries down to a creamy, spicy vanilla. At first I didn’t understand the gunpowder; it sounded metallic to me, like muskets at festivals in my city. It appears at the start and never disappears; if you understand it, you will love it. Magic arose: it is unique and original, you will praise it, it won’t go unnoticed. Well balanced: the metallic and spicy notes balance the sweetness. Bravo! I would buy it a thousand times again.

I took a long time to get it and was anxious, worried about the high price. It wasn’t what I expected: not explosive or groundbreaking, suitable for day or night. Described as floral-fruity-sweet-fresh, but the notes give another impression. Like Scandal By Night, but less scandalous: sweet, tranquil, without being cloying. The patchouli is noticeable, treated silkily with the flowers. The gunpowder makes it addictive, like the effect of gasoline or burning matches (without smelling like it, but makes you keep smelling, sometimes spicy). Light trail, perhaps due to the style, but more sprays change the concept. Super beautiful aroma, conquered my night notes. Highlights vanilla and patchouli. The price is high, reminiscent of a Victoria’s Secret mist or Jimmy Choo fragrances. I’ve already smelled cheap imitations and they are too similar. I don’t recommend owning more than one from this line; they are very similar. I didn’t want to keep it; it wore me out quickly. Edit: What relief to get rid of them, I only remember the patchouli and how long it lasted on my clothes.

  • Beautiful, sweet, fruity, and warm aroma. If you like Flowerbomb and sweet scents, you will definitely love it. It has become one of my favourites.

  • Linda Lo

It is the youthful, seductive, and playful sister of the original: more vanilla sweetness that goes unnoticed in the first. Great trail and unforgettable, leaving a mark in the room. You like sweets, it reminds you of a tart sweet. Viktor&Rolf has quality; this flanker is worth it. Its longevity is much better than the original, which is appreciated.

  • Beautiful but potent. It is juicy, with all the Flowerbomb DNA, just as ‘Nectar’ says. Very sexy and sweet, ideal for turning heads. If you overuse it, the gunpowder is annoying, but it doesn’t smell like fireworks; it gives a spicy touch. It opens as a sweet vanilla, amber, and floral honey bomb, then notes of cherry, creamy vanilla, and benzoin emerge. It is gourmand, so if you don’t like sweets, pass. Totally feminine and sexy. I detect unlisted fruity notes. For cold days or night outings. Be careful with the sprays or you might feel dizzy.

  • Cecilia_nectarina

My favourite so far: a refined, balanced sweet gourmand. Beware of the opening; if you aren’t well-hydrated, the gunpowder note can turn nasty, even fishy. But if you prep correctly, it’s exquisite: peach juice, citrus, and osmanthus pollen, jasmine, and orchid creating a concentrated nectar. Although I won’t admit it, it smells strongly of orange at first. Trying Flowerbomb Orchid sounds like the perfect drying down of this nectar, with just peach, orchid, and vanilla. I recommend it a thousand times; it’s the best in the line.

  • It quickly becomes a favourite. An olfactory delight with super-rich, sweet vanilla, but with nuances of raspberry or strawberry. The gunpowder makes it sparkling and unique. I recommend it 100% for those who love sweet but not typical sugary scents, but rather one that is bold and special. Lasts 7 hours or more on my skin. A precious treasure.

  • Flowerbomb Nectar is one of the best commercial perfumes today. It has a used accord, but it combines differently and more strikingly thanks to an added note that makes the experience special. I love it. Very fruity at the start, creamy and sensual jasmine, and a vanilla-dried down that is warm and sweet. The most striking thing is that its entire evolution features a ‘weird’ note, the gunpowder. It gives it a distinct and aromatic touch that balances the sweetness and I’m thrilled. It remains very sweet, but it doesn’t seem cloying or annoying to me. It’s similar to other Flowerbombs but warmer, sweeter, and less floral. It definitely wins over all. Longevity varies between 8-12 hours, with very noticeable projection and sillage for the first 2-3 hours. Very good. Totally feminine. Suitable for mild/cool days. Sensual, sexy, ideal for going out and conquering, because you won’t go unnoticed. In summary: I love it. Unique, with personality, addictive, and superior performance. I would buy it again a thousand times.

  • I thought I would love it. I bought it blind for the notes and reviews. But it smells awful to me, very artificial, and it makes my nose itch. I’m unfortunately rejecting it. An unrequited love.

  • An explosion of flowers and vanilla, resins, mystery, and lots of personality. Viktor&Rolf don’t intend to please everyone, as the saying goes, ‘a friend to all is a friend to none’. Flowerbomb is my best friend; my perfume-loving friend gifted it to me. If Black Opium is a dangerous woman who won’t even kill a fly, Flowerbomb comes from Santa and is an assassin: you’d willingly die for it (beast mode ON). I’m terrified to use it up; they last a long time. If you find it and like gourmands, don’t think twice, go for it blind. If they discontinue it, we’ll cry hard. It’s the most beautiful girl you know, wearing a silk dress and leather choker, or braids at 30, or suspicious merchandise and lollipops. The one who can save or ruin your life. DO NOT MISS OUT. Scent 9/10, Longevity 10/10, Sillage 9/10, Value for money 8/10, Versatility 7/10, Packaging 10/10. Would I buy again? Yes, a thousand times.

  • Sexy. Sweet and velvety, just before becoming excessive. The magic lies in the balance between cloying and sensual. It’s a bomb of pleasure in a dry vanilla, floral, and fruity setting, like a silk handkerchief that raises the skin’s goosebumps. I’d bluntly call it a perfume for ‘picking up’, attracting through that sweet and feminine prism. The blend is very well executed, fine, veiled, and highly attractive.

  • Marielanne

Sweet, but the gunpowder gives it a distinct touch. I’ve had it since launch and didn’t like it at first, but once the notes macerated, they balanced. The gunpowder faded and now the vanilla stands out more. Now I like it; it doesn’t kill me. I bought it blind (I wouldn’t recommend doing so with this one). It lasts but isn’t a beast; moderate trail that then fades.

  • Very unique, not for everyone. It has a metallic note that makes it unusual. It’s strong, very sweet, and lasts a long time. If you like florals, you’ll adore it. I recommend trying it before buying because it smells like nothing else on the market.

  • I bought it blind and the bottle is gorgeous. It smells sweet and ambered, neither fruity nor fresh, yet not heavy either. Ideal for cool temperatures (10-27°C); if you like sweet scents, you can use it all year, though it’s better for special occasions. It’s not that original, it’s honeyed and white floral (don’t expect something gourmand), but after 5 minutes a earthy, smoky note emerges, the gunpowder. It remains very feminine and sweet. I loved it 😍

  • Colo Braggio

My go-to perfume 😍. Smells different and makes me feel unique. People never stop asking what I’m wearing. I only use it for events because I can’t find it in Argentina, but when I travel, I order it. It doesn’t smell like anyone else; it leaves its own trail and stays impregnated in the clothes for days. Buy blind, you won’t get bored of it. I LOVE it.

  • oliendobonito

It costs a fortune, typical of Victor & Rolf. It smells heavy, perfect for winter. You detect vanilla with a touch of gunpowder that gives it a bitter, sulphurous base, very original. Lasts 9-10 hours on clothes with moderate projection all day.
