  Tested it this afternoon: it’s a blend of Alien’s jasmine with a Babycat-style incense. I’m not a huge fan of that jasmine, so I’ll pass on this one.

  Basically it’s incense and vanilla. The incense is so strong it smells more like a fireplace than a perfume. In this case, the original Good Fortune does it better: it has a distinct and beautiful floral, with more notes and everything better balanced.

  Smells incredible ✨. Yes, it has something mystical, but it doesn’t smell like incense, which doesn’t suit me. It’s pure vanilla and jasmine; occasionally the palo santo comes through, but nothing overwhelming or difficult. Personally, I loved it, even though I’m not usually into these scents. Definitely worth having in the collection 🤍🫰🏻

  Smells incredible ✨. Yes, it has something mystical, but it doesn’t smell of incense, which doesn’t suit me. It’s vanilla with pure jasmine; occasionally you can detect the palo santo, but nothing overwhelming or difficult. Personally, I loved it, even I who am not into these scents. Worth having in the collection 🤍🫰🏻

  I ordered it blind for the notes and it didn’t disappoint; now it’s one of my favourites. I understand why it doesn’t have a massive fanbase: it’s not for everyone. This flanker surpasses the original. It is woody, smoky and aromatic. On my nose, palo santo, incense, sunshine and vanilla stand out. The longevity and projection are top. Furthermore, the bottle is a jewel: it looks like a crystal ball with an amethyst cap, my birthstone, and magical colours.

Bear in mind, it’s not for everyone; if you prefer light scents, test it first. I bought it blind because along my Atlantic coast there are only pharmacies and I was missing something with character. I feared a heavy incense scent in the Arab style, but I trusted Victor & Rolf. At first, I thought nothing came out, almost smelling of cardboard, and with the summer heat I got cross and started looking for reviews. But then! From my skin emerged a divine elixir: solar coconut with delicate vanilla, nothing like the typical Hypnotic Poison. A few sprays only, but it deserves a place in the heart.
