It opens with a sparkling scent reminiscent of those strawberry Kojak lollipops from my childhood, then I detect plenty of pear, anise, and the typical almond of the Girl of Nows; it feels like their same essence but in a summer version, with the orange blossom standing out. I’m not sure if I’d buy it; it feels a bit heavy to me, but I only tried it in the store for a day.
I’m a loyal follower of Elie Saab perfumes, both the Girl Of Now line (I have the EDP and Shine) and Le Parfum (my mother has Le Parfum in White); they all fix very well on my skin. I like this one, but I’d say it’s the least of the bunch. ‘Girl Of Now Lovely’ has a fruity opening of mandarin and pear, followed by the almond, very sweet and creamy, with a well-balanced aromatic cocktail. The green notes are very noticeable, especially the mint which shines from start to finish. The florals are subtle and very hidden. Although it’s herbal, it’s not bitter; it’s heavily sweetened by the almond and tonka bean. You can feel the DNA of the Girl of Now EDP, but the almond (the characteristic note) isn’t the protagonist here. It’s fresher and airier, not so dense. It’s refreshing, sparkling, and luminous. Feminine, ideal for spring and summer nights. Sillage and longevity are moderate. As I said, within the GoN line, it’s the one I enjoy the least, so I wouldn’t buy it, but I still like it and consider it a good perfume with a special touch.
I was drawn to it because of that curious and varied pyramid. Unfortunately, not all the components are noticeable, but it’s a very curious scent that I recommend trying. The opening notes are rich in nuances, but then a flower similar to gardenia, perhaps frangipani, takes over. As the hours pass, it picks up a licorice tone, maybe anise, alongside the white flower, and becomes a bit heavy indoors. The almond, mint, and the rest of the original notes are heavily muted; perhaps the almond is the most perceptible. The performance seemed quite good to me.
The Girl of Now Lovely opens with mint, pear, and mandarin, then the almond, vanilla, orange blossom, amber, and ambroxan emerge. It carries the DNA of the Girl of Now; the almond with the vanilla is very noticeable; it’s sweet, creamy, floral, and spiced. It projects well and has a good sillage, ideal for any season; this version is fresher, greener, citrusy, and aromatic, with a sparkling edge. Of all the GONs, I love the EDP the most, and the Shine is my favourite. At first, it didn’t convince me much; I expected something sweeter and more citrusy, but the more I used it, the more I came to like it. RECOMMEND TRYING BEFORE BUYING. SCENT 9/10, LONGEVITY 10/10, SILLAGE 10/10, VERSATILITY 10/10, VALUE FOR MONEY 10/10, PACKAGING 10/10. WOULD I BUY IT? NO.
Girl of Now Lovely opens with mint, pear and mandarin, before almond and vanilla emerge alongside orange blossom, amber and ambroxan. It carries the DNA of the original, but here the almond and vanilla are very prominent; it’s sweet, creamy, floral with a spicy touch. It projects luxuriously, has a brilliant sillage and suits any time of year. This version is fresher, greener, more citrusy and aromatic, sparkling. Of all the GONs, the EDP is my favourite; Shine is another love. At first it didn’t convince me; I expected something sweeter and more citrusy, but once I wore it, I was hooked. 📍 RECOMMEND TRYING BEFORE BUYING 📍. What a beautiful fragrance! So distinct from its siblings at first, yet so similar once it dries down. That herbal touch makes you want to enjoy the day to the full, and when it settles near the heart, it offers that warmth and comforting embrace so characteristic of the Girl of Now line. Its longevity and sillage are very good compared to what’s currently on the market.
I’m not sure what to say; I regret buying it… it’s peculiar and very herbal, giving off a unisex vibe.
I bought this by mistake and it turned out to be expensive because the sales assistant made an error and gave me this instead of the Girl of Now. What a dreadful perfume; it feels masculine, which is the exact opposite of what I wanted. It’s very herbal, with mint and rosemary, and I can’t detect the roses or pears. What a disappointment and wasted money. I feel awful for not checking what I was buying properly.
I bought it by mistake and it turned out expensive. The seller made an error and gave me this instead of Girl of Now. What a dreadful perfume; it feels masculine, the exact opposite of what I wanted. It smells very herbal, of mint and rosemary; I don’t detect the roses or pears. What a disappointment and wasted money. I’m feeling cross for not checking what I was buying carefully.
I absolutely love this for hot days: it starts green and fresh, with a mentholated touch and that almond or pistachio sweetness that reminds me of the pistachio ice cream I adored last year. It’s like the Moonlight Whisper Intense from Zara but without being cloying. I own both and enjoy them, though I wouldn’t repurchase this if it were my last bottle; I prefer to switch things up and try new scents, so I’d give it an 8/10. For it to become my favourite, it would need to be incredible, but yes, I recommend it: it’s a bargain, and if you like its notes, it’s a delight, plus the bottle is exquisite.

It’s like the Moonlight Whisper Intense from Zara but less cloying. I own both and enjoy them. Would I repurchase? No, because it’s not my favourite note and I like to change things up and try new scents, so I’d give it an 8/10. To buy it again it would need to be exceptional. Would I recommend it? Yes, it’s very cheap and if you like those notes, it’s a lovely one. And let’s not mention the bottle, it’s exquisite!
