  A luminous, citrus-floral fragrance that is very versatile. I let it macerate and it lasts all day; it’s also very feminine and delicate, yet with a good trail. Perfect for daily wear and not overpowering, similar to Libre EDP. For me, it’s the best Elie Saab flanker and the only one I use.

It is suitable for daily wear and does not bother anyone, in the style of Libre EDP. For me, it is the best flanker of Elie Saab and the only one I use.

  Following the DNA of Elie Saab Le Parfum, with jasmine, orange blossom, neroli and gardenia, the flanker Lumiere is dominated by patchouli, jasmine and ylang-ylang. A beauty like this entire collection. Excellent quality. Highly recommended.

  Following the DNA of Elie Saab Le Parfum, with jasmine, orange blossom, neroli and gardenia, the Lumiere flanker features patchouli, jasmine and ylang-ylang as its main notes. A beauty like the rest of this collection. Excellent quality and highly recommended.

  Ten years after the original version, master Kurkdjian reinvents and makes the scent more ‘luminous’. I consider that ‘Lumiere’ follows the line of its predecessor, but that version is indeed more luminous. That light comes from ylang-ylang, neroli and gardenia bound together with the orange blossom. It’s truly a scent of white flowers exposed to the sun! This perfumer has become one of my great favourites. Lumiere is another proposal that has everything to please lovers of white florals. I recommend it blindly if you’ve liked this Elie Saab line.

  It’s a creamy floral, more than white. The ylang-ylang gives it that soft sweet orange touch, like a tropical floral aroma. I absolutely love it. This brand never disappoints in trail and longevity; it lasts all day.

  To be honest, I absolutely hated it. I’m literally forcing myself not to wash my wrist where I tested it. I tried it hoping it would be similar to the classic, but there’s no comparison: the original is fine and delicate, whereas this has a green note that I simply dislike. I imagined a luminous fragrance like the first one but enhanced, yet it turned out to be green; yes, it’s fresh, but only in the shade of the bottle. Not even worth a gift.

  To be honest, I didn’t like it at all; I’m forcing myself not to wash my wrist where I tested it. I tried it thinking it would be similar to the classic but it’s nothing like it: the other one is fine and delicate, this one has a green note that just doesn’t suit me at all 🥲. I imagined a luminous fragrance like the first one but enhanced, and instead it’s green, fresh but only because of the bottle’s colour. Not even worth gifting.

  Kurkdjian truly understands this bloody brilliant line; it’s almost entirely his own and this Lumiere delivers exactly what it promises. It’s not a dim light, it’s a bright, intense beam of light. While the EDP showed a fine facet of the orange (my favourite), here the white floral is overwhelming. From the start it smells like Elie Saab Le Parfum but evolves quickly into something bolder and more modern, like a mix between Alien and L’Interdit. It’s the perfect combination of trendy white florals with a controlled ambroxan touch and an Ylang-Ylang that adds that sunny tropical note without overpowering the whites. Some might not like it, but I absolutely loved it. The performance is outstanding for today’s standards, excellent work from master Kurkdjian. I don’t know a single Elie Saab fragrance that doesn’t have high quality, a round of applause for this Lebanese designer who keeps the standard high.

While the EDP showed a refined facet of bergamot (my favourite), here the white floral is overwhelming. From the start it smells like Elie Saab Le Parfum but evolves quickly into something bolder and more modern, like a mix between Alien and L’Interdit. It is the perfect combination of trendy white florals with a controlled ambroxan touch and an ylang-ylang that adds that tropical yellow note without stealing from the whites. Some may not like it, but I have loved it. The performance is outstanding for today, excellent work by master Kurkdjian. I do not know any Elie Saab fragrance that does not have high quality; a standing ovation to this Lebanese designer who maintains a high standard.

  It has completely won me over; it’s an incredible scent that puts me in a great mood and makes everyone look at me. Smells super natural, modern and cheerful floral, with that perfect balance between casual and elegant. It’s the scent of someone friendly, warm and classy. F. Kurkdjian once again proves his good taste and knows what he’s talking about. It lasts quite well for what it is, and I’ll be buying it again as long as it exists.
