  • Patchouli and vanilla, a perfect enveloping fragrance for autumn and winter. Although I’m not a huge Zara fan, I recognise it’s a good perfume with acceptable longevity and trail. The bottle recalls the discontinued Love by Chloé. It’s totally worth it for such a modest price.

  • Where are the patchouli lovers? 😍 Some might think it sounds like Barenia by Hermès, but I’d say it’s 80% similar to Knowing by Estée Lauder. Zara, but what a marvel. I was tired of smelling like sweet pastries and needed something different and impactful; this is it. A woody patchouli with a citrusy dry-down. It’s not for those who want to smell like a cupcake; this perfume says: here I am and I leave a mark.

I picked this up alongside the other one from the collection. To be honest, Bohème won me over at first; opening this gave me a bit of a shock, but once I let it dry on both arms, it started to seduce me. Unlike the other, I absolutely love its dry-down: it smells clean without being soapy, sophisticated and characterful. In the end, I’ve much preferred this one. The only truth is that the trail is low, just like the other, and the longevity isn’t the best, which is disappointing for the price, but as a perfume lover, I adore having it at home. PS: the bottle is gorgeous, but that little chain, if it doesn’t arrive broken, will snap very soon.
