  • Disaster. All three last 5 seconds, nothing more. This is the best of the three, but it happens anyway. Francis K has a huge reputation but few results.

    Many people don’t realise this line isn’t a continuation of the wonderful Dior Addict EDP Blue. It’s the brand’s attempt at mass success, the perfume version of those super-famous lip glosses. The idea is to please everyone, especially viral young girls, even the bottle is identical. They smell good, that’s all. They don’t aim to impress perfume fans, just to please the general public. Don’t expect anything opulent or memorable; they’re generic, like almost everything mainstream.

    Sweet roses with notes of berries and lychee. It’s lovely, but I already have that floral scent in Crush by Akro (this one has almonds).

  • Received a decant of Manakara Indult and it reminded me of Rosy Glow; they are right to compare them, but Rosy Glow is more sparkling and fresh, with a dulce de leche caramel. I love it. Lasts about 7 hours on skin with medium-low projection. It was my favourite of the three launches.

  • Girls, think carefully before buying. It’s a creamy perfume: starts with sugared lychee and caramel, then fills the air with that creamy part, like a milk caramel with the softness of lychee and a touch of pale rose floral. It’s not super floral or a potent rose, but delicate and fresh. Smells delicious, feminine, youthful and elegant. I love it. Lasts quite a while: 6 hours on skin (edit: on clothes and hair it lasted from 9am until night, and days later the clothes still smell). The claim that it lasts 5 seconds is false; it’s good quality and not as soft as I thought; I could smell it all day. I’d wear it on cold days, as the caramel doesn’t appeal in the heat.

  • Bought it today with high hopes. In the shop, it smelled of creamy, elegant caramel, nothing heavy. But at home, the moment I sprayed it, it smelled like piña colada—nothing like the description. Perhaps it needs time to settle, but it’s a shame as I trusted it. Will update later.
