  • Following the successes of the EDP and EDT of Elie Saab, Francis Kurkdjian has created a fabulous Intense version. I love the warmer, more refined nuance, especially the amber which, along with patchouli and honey, creates a balsamic floral incense. It makes me feel cosy, ultra-feminine, and beautiful. The trail on the skin is enchanting and lasts for hours. In this version, the rose stands out more than before.

  • It’s just like Please Please Pleats, but better. This one doesn’t have that synthetic touch the other has.

  • Honey and amber are the kings, the rose the princess, and the orange blossom a lovesick prince. The other notes are surely there, forming the court of this kingdom. The blend is well-executed, rich, and unconventional. It feels sophisticated, elegant, and aristocratic, yet modern and not stuffy. It’s intense at first, then softens; with its high concentration, it projects slowly and isn’t invasive. The bottle is luxurious, a bonus. I absolutely love it.

  • I started with Le Parfum; it was rich but didn’t quite take to me. Then I tried the Intense and knew it was mine: it has that femininity and sophistication I look for when dressing elegantly. The original opens floral with honey and becomes more woody as it dries; the Intense begins with pure honey and flowers, with just a hint of wood. As it evolves, the sweetness becomes super sophisticated, more classic and feminine than the first. It’s long-lasting for about four hours, but very noticeable. I get compliments everywhere I go. It simply must be in my collection.

  • I had Le Parfum and it was too citrusy and brash (it was a gift). Today I tried this on my skin and fell in love. I was between Mon Guerlain and this, and my boyfriend chose this as a gift, but after spending the night with Mon Guerlain, I think I’ll end up buying Elie Saab Intense. Here I detect a dense, sweet trail of honey that Le Parfum simple doesn’t have. Very warm and comforting, perfect for cool climates or days, and very, very feminine.

  • I already had Le Parfum and it left me feeling citrusy and brash (it was a gift). Today I tried this on my skin and fell in love. I was torn between Mon Guerlain and this, and my boyfriend chose this as a gift. But after spending the night with Mon Guerlain, I think I’ll end up buying the Elie Saab Intense. Here I detect a dense, sweet honey trail that isn’t in the simple Le Parfum. Very warm and comfortable, perfect for cool climates or days, and super feminine.

  • The perfumer sells an aroma he has created a thousand times before. Although he doesn’t list the jasmine from the original, it’s noticeable in harmony with that gum-like orange blossom. It’s at the right point of being able to become cloying due to the sweetness of the honey and amber. It lasts well, but I feel it mellows after the first intense hour, although I didn’t wear it on clothes. A meh at best.

I fell in love with this Elie Saab Intense on my honeymoon. While walking through a shopping centre, I spotted it in a shop and the first thing I noticed was the bottle, super feminine and elegant, perhaps one of the most beautiful. I thought if it looks good on the outside, it must smell good. And it did! The scent accompanied me and made me feel super elegant and feminine. It became addictive; every time I passed the shop, I had to go in to put on perfume. I arrived in my city and ran to buy it. Now I don’t use it as much, only for special occasions. I think it suits all year round, but I prefer it in summer rather than winter because it reminds me of my honeymoon in June, which was very hot. P.S. It seems similar to Narciso Rodriguez for Her, but here the rose is less intense and gives the starring role to the orange blossom.

I fell in love with this perfume on our honeymoon. We were passing through a shopping centre and I saw it in a department store. The bottle is super feminine and elegant, perhaps the prettiest of them all. I thought that if it looked like that on the outside, it must smell good too. And it does! The scent accompanied me and made me feel super elegant and feminine. It became addictive; every time I passed the store, I had to go in and put some on. When I arrived in my city, I ran straight to buy it. Now I use it for special occasions; I think it suits any season, though I prefer it in summer because it reminds me of our June honeymoon, which was hot. P.S. It seems similar to Narciso Rodríguez for Her, but with less rose and the orange blossom is the star.

A masterpiece by Francis Kurkdjian, I love it; it’s one of my favourites, I already have three bottles… it can’t be missing from my vanity. It’s fine, elegant, feminine, sophisticated, with a touch of honey and a mysterious orange blossom. I feel like a princess of the Middle East when I wear it, hehe. It has good projection, longevity, lasts on skin and clothes; it’s the best.

  • It’s my favourite perfume of all time. Laaaaa amoooooo. Its scent is fine, elegant and seductive, its sweetness is wonderful. Its longevity is incredible; it lasts until the next day. I’ve bought it many times and receive many compliments.

  • Buy blind. I wanted something elegant and classy without knowing anything about the brand, so I chose Le Parfum Intense. I smelled it and fell in love instantly. It’s a gentleman’s perfume. Elegant to the maximum, delicate, sublime. It calls for fine attire, a blazer and a stiletto heel. It’s powerful; when I wear it, people say: ‘You smell like expensive perfume’. Good trail and longevity. A work of art. I see it as ideal from the age of 40.

It’s super enveloping, fine, sexy and elegant. The scent stands out and provides incredible comfort, and the dry-down is delicious and very long-lasting. At the end of the day, when I shower with warm water, the scent rises and stands out one last time. Muuuy rich, it makes me feel sexy all day; I simply adore it. By the way, I’ve been told it might be discontinued.

From the first spray, it smells luxurious. I knew the Le Parfum version and made it my signature; I liked it a lot for the scent and performance, but it didn’t convince me completely. Recently I bought the Intense and I was surprised. Here, the orange blossom reigns, embraced by honey. Other flowers like ylang-ylang and rose are there, but barely noticeable. The patchouli is also there but very subtle. What shouts is orange blossom and honey. For me, it’s the perfect perfume for a bride, a commitment sealed with honey. It is luxury, distinction, delicate, and elegant. It attracts glances and compliments. Ideal for special events and autumn and winter nights. It lasts titanically, about 8 to 10 hours. Does it resemble Le Parfum? They share a perfumer but are distinct. For me, Le Parfum is for the day, with noticeable jasmine; the Intense is for special occasions and nights.

From the first spray, it smells of luxury. I knew Le Parfum and made it my signature, but I searched for other Elie Saab versions and none convinced me until I tried this Intense. Here, the orange blossom reigns, embraced by honey. Other flowers like ylang-ylang and rose are barely perceptible. Fortunately, the patchouli is there but very subtle. What screams here is orange blossom and honey. For me, it’s the perfect perfume for a bride; the scent of a commitment sealed with honey. It’s luxury, distinction, delicate and elegant. A head-turner that attracts compliments. For special occasions and autumn and winter nights. Longevity is titanic, around 8-10 hours. Does it resemble Le Parfum? They share a perfumer but are distinct: Le Parfum is for the day with jasmine in view, while this Intense is for special evening occasions.

  • The princess of the Middle East. To start: it’s ideal if you like white flowers. It’s more intoxicating and intense than Le Parfum. Strong, with character, yet without losing its femininity and sophistication. It’s luxurious, highlighting the honey, amber, and orange blossom. It’s sweeter than Le Parfum, but it doesn’t quite reach gourmand territory, maintaining the designer’s oriental style. It shines in cold climates and evening events. Suitable for weddings or elegant parties. It has good longevity and projection. It’s complex and beautiful.

Arrived and I’ve already tried it: I loved it. I took the plunge and ordered it online because it’s no longer sold here (it was the only one left in the catalogue). No regrets; it’s super elegant and feminine. Instantly, it smells of orange blossom; I also detect jasmine, even though it’s not listed, all wrapped in amber and a fine honey that isn’t cloying and dominates as it dries. I’d give it ‘I love it’ if not for that touch of patchouli that doesn’t suit me, though here it’s very soft, so I’ll settle for ‘I like it’. The longevity is top-notch, typical of this brand. Ideal for the coming spring.
