I bought it for two reasons: 1. Lattafa has impressed me with their quality and pricing; I thought they were cheap knock-offs, but that is not the case. I already own three and will continue to add to my collection without abandoning Western brands. It is an Eastern market that does not generate massive advertising budgets; Arabs have been working with essences for millennia, and now they are mass-produced. 2. I was looking for the Eros EDP, a marvel of seduction, and saw that this one resembles it quite closely. I compared them in person: the openings differ, but they converge upon drying, with this one being slightly less intense. I asked a lady to identify which one she was wearing without telling her, and she chose this one because it was less intense. Nevertheless, its longevity and sillage are phenomenal: two sprays are all you need. It stays fixed for hours with an incredible trail. It is a strong, characterful scent for a serious man. I do not recommend using it every day or constantly as it can overwhelm your nose. If you want to stand out and dominate, this is the one for you. If you intend to wear it in the office, I would suggest twice a month at most, or people will ask you to stop as it is very projecting. It is rich but not for drowning in it all the time. Rating out of 10: an 8 overall.

  • Does it resemble Versace Eros? Yes, somewhat like the EDT, but the quality is far below the original. The opening smells like baby powder before the Eros DNA kicks in; it lacks the intensity of the key notes (mint and vanilla) to truly mimic its inspiration, though it is heading in that direction. It would be classified as a flanker eau de cologne. I picked it up for $25, so it didn’t hurt to buy it for daily wear; it’s acceptable. However, if you are going to pay the £40-£45 it costs here, save a bit more and buy the Eros EDP, which is a beast in terms of performance.

  • Does it resemble Versace Eros? A little like the EDT, but the quality falls far short of the original. The opening smells like baby powder before the Eros DNA kicks in, though it lacks the punch in the main notes to match its mint and vanilla inspiration. Basically, it’s a flanker eau de cologne. I picked it up for $25, so it didn’t hurt to use daily; it’s fine. But if you’re going to pay the $40 or $45 it costs here, save a bit more and buy the Eros EDP, which is a bomb in terms of performance.

  • A simple, one-note fragrance: average longevity and poor projection. It resembles the Eros EDT only in the opening and the minty note, but it lacks the best elements, such as the apple and vanilla base. I would not recommend it at all, even if it is cheap.

A simple perfume, nothing more, with regular longevity and poor projection. It resembles the Eros EDT only in the opening and the minty scent, but it lacks the best parts, such as the apple and vanilla base. I wouldn’t recommend it at all, not even if it’s cheap.

Tested on a decant: identical to my Versace Eros EDP, yet slightly fresher and sharper. No one would genuinely tell them apart. The quality is inferior to the Versace original, but it follows the same pattern as AQG Profondo or Lattafa’s Liam Blue: if you don’t want to splash out £50 for 75ml, you can get the same scent for £20-£25 with more volume to apply without guilt.

  • Not worth buying this perfume. It’s a waste of money as it lacks longevity, lasting only two hours before fading to skin scent. Does it resemble Eros? Yes, but paying $25 for this makes no sense.

Hello, my take: I genuinely love this fragrance. If I had to mention a drawback, it’s the longevity; it’s not bad, but I’d like it to last longer so I can enjoy it more. It conveys relaxation and is incredibly pleasant to the nose. I won’t delve into notes as I’m not a ‘nose’, just a fragrance enthusiast. It feels fresh, sweet, and bright… an absolute must-have from Lattafa’s vast range. Always test first. Best wishes.

Hello, my opinion. I really love this fragrance. If I had to point out a drawback, it would be the longevity; it’s not bad, simply I would like it to last longer so I could enjoy it more. It conveys relaxation and is tremendously pleasant to the nose. I won’t delve into notes or anything; I’m not the ‘nose’ and never will be, I’m simply a fragrance lover. It feels fresh, slightly sweet, and bright… It’s a must-try from the immense stock that Lattafa controls. Try it first, always. Cheers.

  • I tried it this weekend and I liked it more than the original; I feel it’s more concentrated than the Eros EDP. Longevity is improvable, but then again, the latest batches of Eros aren’t good on longevity either, so I’d say they’re similar in this regard.

  • I tried it this weekend and preferred it to the original; it feels more concentrated than Versace Eros EDP. Longevity could be better, but recent batches of Eros aren’t great in this regard either, so they’re similar.

To me, Versace Eros smells like pure vanilla, whereas this fragrance has no similar notes at all. Could anyone explain the resemblance?

  • Fresh and crisp straight from the bottle, but afterwards it reminds me of Versace Eros Flame; a friend owns one and I recognised it instantly. It’s a very good scent, perfect for spring and autumn, suitable for daytime wear only.

  • A fresh opening fragrance, afterwards it reminds me of Versace Eros Flame, as a friend owns one and I identified the scent straight away. In itself, it’s a very good perfume, suitable for spring and autumn during the day. Nothing more to say.
