  It’s an almost perfect clone of the Ex-Nihilo Blue Talisman. The ingredients are of good quality, the longevity is acceptable, and the projection is moderate. Given all of the above, don’t hesitate to buy it blind. It’s worth it.

  It doesn’t smell cheap; quite the opposite: a ripe pear with a sophisticated and magical woody-musk base. I don’t know the original, but I fell in love with this in a single day. The projection stands out when you first apply it, then it becomes a personal pleasure—sober yet cheerful and mature. A perfect balance between floral, fruity, wood, and musk. I need to buy another; my reformulation anxiety was cured by this. PS: There are many YouTube reviews that rate it highly, though one claimed it went bad after half an hour—that’s a lie, or their noses aren’t normal. Note: don’t wear it when you have a cold, the amber changes everything, and it happened to me. Edit: My sister kept insisting so much that I’ll gift her my backup (I’ve already bought another, hehe). Correction: the trail lasts up to 2 or 3 metres after half an hour, and what I found sweet and cloying smells only fruity and fresh musky on her—that blue, elegant magic. Sometimes I forget you can’t evaluate your own trail 😅. With oxidation, the performance improves. A 10/10, very versatile.

  I bought it blind based on the price and the promise of being an inspiration to the Ex-Nihilo Blue Talisman EDP, and it didn’t disappoint. It’s ideal for hot days or enclosed spaces without being overwhelming. The juicy pear note dries down to something addictive; I struggle to stop using it because it delivers, it’s enchanting, and it makes you dependent. If you enjoy fresh and sweet fragrances, it’s totally recommended.

  A fragrance that’s always worth it. The price and quality are excellent; you can tell it was made with a lot of care. I don’t find it quite as similar to the Art of Universe as others do; I think they have different twists, but I recommend it from the bottom of my heart.

  It seems an incredible bargain at $32 in Chile, the definitive dupe for Blue Talisman. If you didn’t know, it’s the exact same liquid as Matin Martin Illusion; I confirmed this by testing them side by side for several days. It makes perfect sense as both are Gulf Orchid sub-brands, but this one comes in a much more beautiful, luxurious bottle. It’s one of my favourite fragrances, feeling far more masculine than other inspirations.

  Pay $32 in Chile and you get the best of the house: it’s identical to the original Blue Talisman. Comparing it side by side with the Matin Martin Illusion, you can tell it’s the same liquid, just in a much more luxurious and beautiful bottle. It’s one of my favourites, with a slightly more masculine touch than other inspirations.
