Descripción

Versace Man Eau Fraiche by Versace is a woody aquatic fragrance for men. Launched in 2006, the nose behind this composition is Olivier Cresp. The top notes unfold with lemon, sour lime, starfruit, cardamom, and Brazilian rosewood; the heart reveals cedar, tarragon, sage, and pepper; while the base notes settle with musk, woody nuances, saffron, amber, and sycamore wood.

  • This fragrance is a: 10% Blue Seduction by A. Banderas, 10% Light Blue by D&G, and 80% Montblanc Starwalker. Imagine that Starwalker is an HD television and this is a Starwalker in 4K 😄

  • I’d always intended to buy it, but only when I found a super price did I finally get hold of it. Longevity: It’s quite good. It doesn’t last long on my skin (I have very dry skin and always suffer from high tension due to my job), yet this fragrance remains noticeable for at least three hours. There’s something in it that smells cheap (and yes, it is an affordable fragrance), but there are also other notes perceived with greater quality. Overall, it wins because it’s tremendously balanced throughout its entire life. It’s a compliment machine; people enjoy it so much you notice it even when they don’t say it, as others enjoy your closeness, smile at you, and greet you more warmly. This has happened to me for the first time and repeats itself again and again with this aroma; it’s very curious. This scent really delivers what you pay for, whether little or much. To me, it seems very masculine with those woody notes, but what I enjoy most is the persistence of the white musks, which gives an excellent sense of cleanliness; that’s why I recommend it for hot climates, preferably humid rather than dry. Its application should accompany the use of linen and cotton; it goes brilliantly. I already owned an Eros Flame, which is so warm and long-lasting that I was inspired to try this freshness in a bottle. It’s well worth it even today, as it seems to have reached a good age, yet it belongs to those eternal scents that continue to be enjoyed for how tremendously pleasant they are. It should always be available in the vanity of every tidy, well-groomed man.

One of the few benefits of the infernal heat in my homeland is wearing this type of scent; it’s truly rich. What’s a pity is that there aren’t many blue perfumes that surprise, and this isn’t an exception; there are better or equal options in this style for less money.

  • zmjuanpablo

Fresh, citrusy, clean scent; I would also say there’s a green note to it. There are dozens of alternatives to this type of fragrance and I must admit that my impression after the first sniff is that it smells like cheap perfume. I underestimated its longevity as it lasts longer than expected… although my expectations were that it would barely last more than a breath, like the Starwalker. Let’s say its performance is correct for the type of perfume it is. Best used on hot days, though I recommend Versace Pour Homme much more.

  • mmads_parfum

A pleasant fragrance with a very citrusy opening to my nose. Very easy to wear, it suggests cleanliness and freshness. However, it lasts muuuuuuch too briefly on the skin, I’d say just 2 to 3 hours, leaving little trail and fading right off the skin. If you open the car window, forget it, it vanishes immediately. It’s lovely, but I wouldn’t buy it again given its poor longevity.

  • Albertini79

Personally, I like it very much. A deceptively simple fragrance. Fresh opening, drying down to a soapy, clean, and very masculine note. A Mediterranean aroma but restrained, without any flashiness. A good option for spring-summer, during the day. It requires a certain natural and elegant personal style.

  • I own it and the first impression is clearly a total Starwalker, followed by an easy-to-wear woody citrus scent similar to D&G’s Light Blue. Recommended just like the Starwalker. Good, pretty, and cheap. Best regards.

  • Fresh and pleasant, a citrus-woody scent that plays it safe. The bergamot isn’t aggressive, and as it dries down, the saffron and musk notes make it utterly delicious. My husband says it lasts over 10 hours on my skin, all day long. It’s exactly what I’ve always dreamed of for a Light Blue for men; to me, it’s the perfect blend between Davidoff Cool Water for women and Light Blue Summer Vibes for women too.

  • Escoriapodrida

Smells good but generally I consider it very average. I feel it’s synthetic and generic; there are very similar options at a better price. I like Y Eau Fraiche much more, in the same price range and with the same performance.

  • I picked it up at a ridiculous price in duty-free. I already knew it, so I knew it doesn’t stand out in projection or longevity (lasts 2 hours on skin and leaves a trail for 20 minutes). Otherwise, it’s super easy to wear in summer, doesn’t overwhelm, is pleasant and refreshing. Recommended for keeping a low profile on hot days but feeling clean. On long days, you need to reapply and can spray as much as you like; it doesn’t suffocate or bother anyone.

  • I recommend it for being very fresh. But if you’re looking for that scent or something similar and cheaper, buy Blue Seduction by Antonio Banderas. It’s the same aroma and costs $25 for 200ml.

  • unlimited3007

Some people say it resembles Blue Seduction by A. Banderas and the truth is you can notice it a bit, but I’d say no more than 30%. The Versace Eau Fraiche notes are of better quality and are clearly noticeable.

  • campeones22

It’s Blue Seduction by AB, of course AB was inspired by it, but the difference in ingredients is noticeable. The AB version is sweeter and synthetic, yet well-made. If you have the money, buy the original; if not, AB does its job.

  • For me, the citrus notes in this fragrance are very fresh alongside the woods. I see it for over 25s. Ideal for heading to the park, shopping centres, the cinema, dates or work. Perhaps the beach, depending on the individual. It pairs well with slim, straight or bootcut jeans without rips, long shirts, blazers, polos or V-neck t-shirts. I don’t see it with wide-leg trousers, sleeveless tops or formal suits, though it depends on the person. If there were an EDT version instead of EF, it would last longer. Sillage: 5/5, Longevity: 4/5, Versatility: 4/5, Notes: 5/5, Overall: 4.5/5. Undoubtedly one of my signature scents (I wear it all year round).

  • EnriqueSeguraJ

I like the opening, but the dry-down doesn’t convince me, which is why it’s an old classic. They say it doesn’t last like other citrus scents, and for its price, it wasn’t worth buying.

  • Ignacio Bravo

Reminds me of water. A lost woody touch that says nothing. That’s why I believe it’s worth more than what it actually offers.

  • Bought it by mistake in-store, reaching for the 200ml Pour Homme. Here, taxes eat up 70-80% of the price, so paying $190 is a real blow. The scent is fresh, woody and aquatic with citrus, but it smells to me like a plate of plain white rice with chicken, no salt. Upon spraying, the alcohol stings badly, so I had to douse it with pharmacy alcohol to fix it. After 15 minutes, I only detect lemon and a woody note that barely exists. By 30 minutes, just a fruity and green hint remains. Verdict: rubbish for the price and the shop assistant’s error. I don’t understand why they still sell it; it’s the most insipid thing I’ve ever smelled. It’s just lemon water and wood for $100-150.

  • Fresh, smells very clean, spring-summer. Take into account that these scents tend to be liked by women. I don’t love it, but it is a very nice scent straight from the shower.

  • It’s the only fragrance I was about to ask someone about in a shopping centre; I smelled something so clean it took my breath away. I saw a man with his child picking out fruit, hesitated to ask, but felt the embarrassment win out. A year later, my wife was in a perfume wholesaler in McAllen; I asked for cheap testers ($25 versus Mexico). When I tried it at home, I was surprised: it was that clean scent I was looking for. I tried many in department stores and finally found mine, now without even searching. It’s a clean, soapy scent like Montblanc Starwalker but with a sweet touch that makes it modern.

  • EnriqueSeguraJ

I only have a sample. It seems like a good scent but there’s something that slightly displeases me, similar to Happy by Clinique. They are good perfumes but something about them doesn’t convince me, besides the short longevity due to being citrusy. I wouldn’t buy it.

  • A clean and fresh scent, perfect for the heat but not one of my favourites; it has a note that doesn’t convince me. Projection and longevity are average (4-5 hours, 1 metre). Yes, it can seem a bit mature, not for a 40-year-old man, but for someone in their 30s. I’m 21 and it doesn’t bother me, but several people say it smells like someone aged 30-35.

  • A rich, fresh, masculine, and clean scent, but I don’t think it’s worth buying as there are better options at this price (even from Versace). Ideal for use after a shower and smelling nice at home. If you’re looking for something for going out, daily wear, the office, or meetings, I recommend a more elegant and seductive Versace perfume. I prefer Versace Pour Homme, which has the characteristics this one lacks. Summary: Scent 9/10, Longevity 7/10, Price 7/10, Warm, +14 years.

  • eduavilag

Very citrusy, smells delicious, ideal for extreme heat and spring-summer. One of my favourites; it’s one of the few I buy in multiple bottles without getting bored. The downside: projection and longevity aren’t extensive, but the scent is worth it. I recommend buying it; the price isn’t high and it’s sometimes on offer.

Unjustified hype. I don’t understand the fuss. Versace Man Eau Fraîche is simple: it smells good but is superficial and volatile. The opening is citrusy with a clean, summery air, a slight nod to soft woods, but lacks depth or evolution. It’s for ‘smelling nice for a while’. If you want people to notice it, be prepared to reapply. On skin, it doesn’t project; on clothes, it improves slightly but isn’t worth setting off fireworks. It’s not a ‘run and buy’, you surely already have something similar with more presence. If you like this scent, go straight for D&G Light Blue: it projects more, lasts longer, and performs better. Rating: 5/10. Does it meet expectations? Yes. Does it surprise? No. Do you need it? Honestly, no.

  • biohazar15

To say Versace Man doesn’t last and D&G Light Blue doesn’t either is common, but here the first lasts hours while the second lasts nothing. This fragrance lasts me 6 to 8 hours, projects well for 1.5 to 2 hours before becoming a personal bubble, and remains strong at 4 hours. It is citrusy, aquatic, delicious, excellent for summer, fresh, youthful, and clean. I suppose it varies from skin to skin, but for me, the results have been very good.

  • A very pleasant and well-balanced citrus scent, with just enough wood to last longer without losing its freshness. You can tell the essences are of high quality.

  • Aurumperfumes.Col

If you like clean scents, this is your ideal perfume for hot weather. It doesn’t try to be the strangest in the world; its strength lies in the freshness it leaves behind. Imagine light, sea, and seaweed with lemon, cedar, and herbs emerging from the water. It becomes addictive with wear and is a delight for the heat.

  • It’s Blue Seduction by Antonio Banderas with slightly better performance but at a higher price.

  • As others have said, it’s very nice, with a hint of coconut that hits me at first. Yes, the opening is wonderful but it lasts, at best, an hour or perhaps a little longer. When I use it, I have to apply it about five times a day for it to be noticeable. It’s a pity about its poor projection and longevity. I recommend buying the smaller version as there are better perfumes like this available today.

  • Lovely, simple, and reliable. It’s my third perfume, so I have a certain affection for it. It doesn’t last at all, and in my opinion, the opening is highly alcoholic, lasting only about six seconds. Then comes a well-blended fresh spicy note that’s really good. It would be much better if there was a more intense version because, honestly, it’s a great fragrance and super easy to wear. The Eau Fraîche Extreme wouldn’t be the case as it veers in a different direction. A good blind buy; I feel I would have made a mess with this perfume if I’d had it when I was 16… even at 24, I still think it’s good, pleasant 🙂

  • I recommend it because it’s very fresh. However, if you’re looking for the same scent or a very similar one at a much lower price, go for Blue Seduction by Antonio Banderas. It has the exact same smell and costs just $25 for 200ml.

  • I’d say it’s 100% similar to L’Eau d’Issey Pour Homme by Issey Miyake, just with more sillage, better longevity, and a slightly more citrusy scent. I applied seven sprays to my skin; I don’t like wearing it on clothes, and it radiated for quite some eight hours. That day I was with my girlfriend, and even after six hours, she told me ‘you smell amazing’ before even hugging me. The next day I wore the same shirt because I didn’t leave the house, and the whole day it had that incredible aroma, even if it was just what had soaked into the fabric. It has good sillage and lasts a long time. Tip: if you want phenomenal sillage and don’t plan to mix it with another fragrance, apply it to your shirt, jacket, or blazer for an incredible trail. Since I didn’t put it on my clothes and the scent was strong enough for my girlfriend to notice, applying it to fabric would make it last and project much more. I simply didn’t use it on clothes because I wear other perfumes and dislike mixing scents.

  • Fresh and perfect for sunny days, a very natural citrus with a slightly woody base. It’s delicious, though the longevity and projection are quite low.

  • Roxana Drama

I use it for the gym or on hot days; it’s very unisex and I absolutely love it. On my skin, it lasts about five hours.

  • An exquisite fragrance with excellent projection, so one must be careful with the sprays as it can become overpowering. Nevertheless, it is a scent that is enjoyed and the dry-down is slightly powdery.

  • It retains the brand’s DNA. Upon spraying, the citrus notes are fresh but fade quickly. As it dries on my skin, it smells like pencil wood. Reapplication is needed after four hours, even though it isn’t a fougère. I wear it in any season except extreme heat. Nothing invasive; after the first hour, it becomes a personal bubble, like a Japanese perfume. ⛩️
