This scent smells of the ballerina’s powder and heavily of eyeliner, evoking the girls of the Moulin Rouge. It’s very intense, better suited for winter, autumn, or evening when dressed up for an event. I don’t see it as office-appropriate for daily wear; it’s too overpowering. If you’re looking for a perfume that smells like eyeliner, this is the best. I’m just waiting to try the one that smells like lipstick, similar to Iris by Frédéric Malle.
This fragrance smells of a ballerina’s makeup powder and strongly of eyeliner, evoking the girls of the Moulin Rouge. It’s very intense, better suited for winter, autumn, or evening, when dressed up for an event. I don’t see it as suitable for the office every day; it’s too overpowering. If you’re looking for a perfume that smells of eyeliner, this is the best. The only one I’m yet to get is the one that smells of lipstick, like the Iris by Frederic Malle.
It really smells good; it has a hint of Dior’s Dolce Vita, surely due to the plum. It’s fruity and woody; it would be in my collection if it weren’t for being so subtle. If you like powdery scents with flashes of wet woods, this is all yours. The orange and cinnamon are prominent without being the main characters. A pity it wasn’t more potent, as I’ve liked it very much. Versatility: 10. Projection: 6. Longevity: about four or five hours. A lovely fragrance.
This is my second bottle, truly special. It smells very sensual, like a high-class courtesan from the nineteenth century. The first time I wore it, it evoked lust or fetishism. As the name suggests, it scents of a cabaret artist behind the scenes, with her makeup and feathers. It’s a powdery iris with musk where the plum dominates. It’s very well blended, giving off the scent of old makeup. I don’t see it as versatile for every occasion; it’s for special events. It lasts for many hours; people around you notice it and turn to smell it. The projection is about a metre and a half for the first three hours, then it becomes intimate, so you’re smelling it all day. It’s the delight of my collection and I don’t like being without it.

As its name suggests, it smells like the cabaret artist behind the scenes, with her makeup and feathers. It’s a powdery iris with musk where the plum sings loudly. It’s very well blended, giving an old makeup scent. I don’t see it as versatile or suitable for every occasion; it’s for special events. It lingers for many hours; the surroundings perceive it, and people turn to smell it. It projects a metre or so for the first three hours, then becomes intimate. You’re smelling it all day. Sometimes reviews seem to read the fragrance pyramid, but this perfume doesn’t follow that script. It’s not easy to identify individual notes. At first, it smells of absinthe liqueur, very woody and unisex, reminiscent of Dior Homme Parfum, before losing interest and evolving into something more aniseed, sweetened by that cursed plum, and animalic due to a prominent skin note. A fuzzy skin, like a suffragette fur coat from the 50s. It recalls old lipstick, more complex and challenging than Margiela’s Lipstick On. It’s dirty, vicious, and more feminine than unisex. I imagine a scene of old, dusty wood with worn-out curtains. There’s decadence, vice, and a soft plum ruining the moment. Not for daily use; it would lead to weariness. Performance is brutal for the first hour, then becomes intimate yet perceptible. It lasts more than 8 hours on my skin. Recommended for lovers of the ‘vintage dressing table’ style seeking something less virginal.

A musky rose with iris and a slightly woody patchouli; nothing shrill. A hint of plum adds sweetness, and as it dries, a subtle suede emerges. Not versatile; it smells like old lipstick. I don’t dislike it, but I wouldn’t buy it.
