I’m going to defend this marine scent: it’s a gem from a house that respects its history. Accordo Marino breaks the mould effortlessly and is ideal if you like marines but are looking for a twist. What is it? Eucalyptus. That balsamic note, as Farmacia SS says, combines with the freshness of the sea to give you the calm of a hammock with a cocktail. I have a weakness for eucalyptus due to childhood memories: my friend and I would break leaves in a nearby hill to smell their heart; I was fascinated from the start and we always went back up to repeat the experience. On my skin, it lasts about five hours well. On clothes? So much that in summer you’d take the clothes off due to the heat. Conclusion: if you already have classic marine scents, this is a fresh complement that doesn’t repeat itself.
