  The thing about Milton Lloyd clones is that they’re like sweets: every time a new one comes out, I get a craving. This smells like a gummy candy. In Anglo forums and lists, it’s said to be Euphoria, but to me it’s just similar; it lacks the depth and darkness of the original. Colour Me Diamonds smells like the offspring of two 80s legends: Avon’s Bubble Gum shower gel (that strawberry-and-sugar gum that gave us cavities) and Black Tulip, fresh and musky. The opening of kiwi and strawberry is explosive, with strawberry dominating everything. Then comes a tangled ball, knotted by a cat: a playful tangle that confuses at first, but if you look closely, it smells exactly as it says: aquatic lotus, warm plum, champagne fizz, dark orchid, amber, vanilla, and lots of musk. That reminds me of the green, damp, almost marine musk of Myrurgia’s Oasis. In short, it’s a cocktail of champagne with sweet red fruit, very musky, with a watery touch. The only snag is that the blend of notes can seem synthetic, but I don’t mind. Everything else is a win: a ridiculous price and brutal longevity. Like the Milton Lloyd originals, it lasts many hours and leaves a noticeable trail.
