I used this back in 2006. In the opening you feel the lemon and mandarin very refreshing but not at a sport level. In the mid-life what predominates most is lavender with eucalyptus, finishing with a touch of vetiver. It’s nothing like its father, the Grey Flannel; this one, being from the 90s, is one of those where you smell ‘clean’, similar to an aftershave. Good choice to use it daily.

  • Well, for an informal outing it smells like barbershop lotion, it’s not unpleasant, but it could be mistaken for a catalogue fragrance.

  • Have you ever smelled or owned Nautica Voyage? They are very similar aromas. Almost the same moderate longevity but this one is a bit more intense than Nautica. It’s viable for the office. Smell fresh and clean. For one of those days you go shopping at the supermarket.

  • I’ve just acquired it and if I detect a bit of anise, perhaps lavender stands out a bit more in the heart, more than patchouli which I don’t detect. It feels very fresh, the longevity is medium, but what fragrance surpasses it in the heat and now in my country it’s a heatwave? In general a good acquisition, fresh and with a youthful touch; I’ve already passed 40 and I don’t feel it’s so much for a mature man.

I bought this fragrance from 1997 about a month ago, which I was very keen to try. Quite fresh opening of mandarin, lime and some green notes; as soon as it begins its dry-down phase, the woody notes of sandalwood and vetiver are felt, accompanied by a powdery musk that provides a sense of cleanliness throughout the rest of this soft fragrance’s life. Lavender, eucalyptus and slightly sweet anise are the notes that persist until the end. I find it ideal for daily use in an office environment, casual or informal outings, day or night and certainly ideal for environments where the temperature is warm. Final conclusion: it’s an excellent fragrance for everyday life, gentlemanly, masculine and suitable for all ages. Longevity: 5-6 hours. Projection: 1.5 hours, soft. Final rating: 7/10. Could I improve its performance? Yes, but given how accessible the price is, I don’t dare to complain and I limit myself to enjoying it.

  • To me, this fragrance is too herbal, that’s how I felt it the day I tried it, but that day the weather was very cold. Another day I tried it with warm weather and it already felt a bit different, but still, it feels very herbal to my taste. I think you WILL NOT RECEIVE COMPLIMENTS for it, it’s due to its quite similar (according to my nose) resemblance to a catalogue fragrance called Nitro that I’ve been using since I was a child about 13 years ago. I understand that wearing it in enclosed spaces when you’ve just applied it will be annoying for you and those nearby, I’ve had it several times that when getting into the car after wearing it I had to turn off the air conditioning because the smell was so intense it felt like my head was about to explode. Scent: 5/10 Projection: 7/10 Longevity: 5/10 Would I buy it again? No. Uses: Casual, going out to eat outdoors. Avoid enclosed spaces if the application is recent.

Well, it’s not essential, but today I fancied a little blue scent and I went for it. It has nothing to do with its predecessor ‘Grey Flannel’, though it does have its own charm and a certain distinction. The problem is that at the 24 degrees I’m used to, more or less autumn weather, its longevity is short: less than three hours on my skin, and barely a skin scent for about four or five. The trail is weak but graceful. The opening does fill the room with hints of cypress and bergamot, giving way to lavender and a scarce vetiver to dry down into a bit of wood and some eucalyptus. Someone who likes Creed Green could wear it without a fuss, or any young person of the new generation who doesn’t mind using a fragrance that leaves no mark. I won’t be buying it again.

Well, it’s not essential, but today I was craving something blue and decided to treat myself. It has nothing to do with its predecessor, ‘Grey Flannel’, though it has its own charm and a certain touch of distinction. The problem is that at 24 degrees, which I’m used to in autumn, its longevity is short: less than three hours on my skin, and with a skin scent for another four or five. I could wear it without a second thought if you like Creed’s green scents or if you’re a younger generation who doesn’t mind using a perfume that doesn’t leave a mark. I won’t be buying it again.
