Smells absolutely delicious and is super feminine. It comes out very strong with bergamot and jasmine at first, then after 10 minutes it leaves fresh neroli. Ideal for spring, with medium-to-high longevity and projection. It doesn’t project as much as the pink one, which is the one that doesn’t last of the three (blue, red, and pink).
Beautiful presentation, luxury box and a plush bottle with gold, like a treasure. Long-lasting, over 12 hours, especially on clothes where it lasts two days. Moderate trail in open spaces and more in enclosed areas. After two hours it settles on the skin where it lasts more than 12 hours; with heat or sweat it revives, feeling pleasant bursts. The floral predominates, with nards as the stars. A citrus opening with bergamot, followed by blackcurrants. In the heart, white flowers and jasmine emerge before yielding to fresh, sweet nards. In the dry down, nards remain with a faint background of vanilla, patchouli and cedar. On me, the nard predominates, rich but invasive; perhaps it feels more balanced on others. It has a hint of detergent that I don’t like but also don’t hate. I wish you’d try it first. Emaan is a dupe of the original My Way, with the same notes but adding discreet calendula, blackcurrants and patchouli. The nard is potent. On me it’s problematic, rich but marking its presence and smelling of detergent. I wish you’d try it first. It’s versatile for any season, pleasant in the heat, giving a sense of wellbeing and cleanliness with high florals. Sophisticated enough to look put-together, whether casual or summery; I don’t think it’s for a closed gym. With a low cost (approx. $25) it is highly recommended, but if you don’t like strong florals or nards, give it a try first. I have Sakeena and Emaan, and I prefer this one. I haven’t tried Haya yet.
Luxury packaging! The box and the velvet bottle with gold details make it a treasure. Longevity is immense, over 12 hours, especially on clothes where it lasts two days. The trail is moderate in open spaces and stronger in enclosed areas. After two hours it fades on the skin, where it still lasts over 12 hours; with heat or sweat it revives with pleasant bursts. Floral notes dominate with neroli taking centre stage: a citrus opening with bergamot and blackcurrants, then white flowers and jasmine that yield to sweet neroli. In the dry down, neroli remains with vanilla, patchouli, and cedar. On me, the neroli is overwhelming, perhaps more balanced on others. It’s a dupe of Armani’s My Way with extra notes like calendula and blackcurrants, but the neroli is more potent. To me, it smells like laundry detergent, which I don’t like. Try it before buying. It’s versatile for any season, fresh and clean, ideal for looking put-together without being excessive. I wouldn’t use it at the gym due to the heat. At $25 it’s a bargain, but if you can’t handle strong florals or neroli, test it first. I own Sakeena and Emaan and prefer this one, though I haven’t tried Haya yet.
It has just arrived. Now that I’ve discovered Arabic perfumery, I don’t want to know anything about commercial houses. It’s my third Lattafa fragrance and I’m delighted (along with this one, I recommended another to a friend and she says I’m mad). The packaging looks expensive; the velvet of the bottle is rich, and the design takes me back to Egypt. The scent, thanks to the reviews, is as expected: white flowers in the opening and dry down. Highly feminine, it smells of a mature and confident woman. I love that it evolves olfactorily. I’m in love with Lattafa. A blind buy that was spot on. It’s a 10/10.
If I had to say what it reminds me of, I’d say My Way, but a thousand times better, with more personality. The final oriental woody part gives it a plus… simply beautiful.
It’s a fairly pleasant aroma; I’d categorise it as very evening-oriented, yet it leaves a subtle trail. A very good option because it’s versatile… very ladylike.
Just like My Way, this one doesn’t suit me, but it lasts hours. It’s a white floral for spring-summer, fresh with a citrus touch, not creamy or heavy. For me, it’s daytime, perfect for work, non-invasive, and I wouldn’t use it at night.
Just like My Way; that one doesn’t suit me but this lasts for hours. It’s a white floral for spring-summer, fresh with a citrus hint, not creamy or heavy. For me, it’s daytime, perfect for work, and not invasive.
This perfume taught me that reviews help, but it’s your own nose that decides. I can’t stand My Ways due to their strong scent, so when I categorised Emaan as a dupe, I thought it would be a definite no. However, smelling the cap made me like it; I tried a decant and adored it for its citrus touch that softens the white flowers. I’m still testing it to see the limit of sprays, but it’s elegant, feminine, not cloying, calming and relaxing. I’m very pleased and might just buy the bottle.
It comes out citrusy and rich, with body. I find it pleasant but not my taste. It’s elegant, for formal occasions. It has a pronounced trail for the first hour, so you need to be careful with sprays.
It has a rich citrus opening and body. I find it pleasant but it’s not quite my taste. It’s elegant, suitable for formal occasions. It has a pronounced trail for the first hour, so you need to be careful with the number of sprays.
It resembles My Way very closely; you can taste that rich nard, although on my skin it didn’t last as long. Given the price, it’s worth it if you can’t afford the original.
Just bought it and I absolutely adore chypres, which is why I made the purchase. It’s delicious. The white flowers are intense but not overwhelming, cloying or overpowering; they’re delightful citrusy white blooms. I think it’s wearable for any season. I can’t comment on longevity yet as I’ve only just tried it.
Emaan by Lattafa is an inspiring interpretation of Armani’s My Way, with around 90% similarity. It’s excellently crafted, even improved upon. This white floral fragrance stands out for its nard, which is extremely pleasant, featuring a citrus top and woody base that will appeal to a mass audience. Its performance is excellent: it’s a wonderful option for anyone wanting something similar to Armani without spending as much, resulting in it being superior in some aspects. A triumph from Lattafa with beautiful packaging and unbeatable pricing.
I absolutely love it. I chose it because it’s a chypre, one of my favourite olfactive families. It didn’t fail me: I just tried it and it’s exquisite. It smells of powerful white flowers without being overwhelming, without being harsh or oppressive. They are fragrant citrus white flowers, delicious and melodic. I can’t speak to longevity or sillage as it’s newly purchased, but its olfactive proposal seems suitable for all seasons and times of day. Very wearable. One of my best Arab purchases. Next will be Shuhrah by Rasasi, also from the chypre family, which is hard to find among so many heavy gourmands.
I bought it for my wife almost a year ago; I tried it and she liked it, but this was before I knew the original My Way. Her sister left hers with her on a trip, which was a My Way, so now she has both, although the latter is from an older batch. At first, they smell the same, but after a while you can distinguish because the Emaan is a bit more synthetic, stronger and has a tiny sweet and animalic note, whereas the macerated My Way always predominates the floral aspect. The Emaan gives me more personality, for smart or semi-formal wear and beyond, but the original My Way I see as more all-rounder and inoffensive.
I truly adore it. Perfumes usually don’t last on my skin, but people always say ‘how lovely’ to this one, and I love it. It’s delicate, floral, and chypre; fresh for summer and deep for winter. It was my great purchase, a real discovery. I think it’s better than My Way, though I like Emaan more. I recommend it, although as they say, taste is in the eye of the beholder.
I truly adore it. Perfumes rarely last or leave a trail on me, and I’m happy because whenever I wear this, someone says ‘what a lovely perfume’, and that transports me because it hasn’t happened with very expensive perfumes. It’s delicate, floral, chypre; I find it fresh for summer and deeper in winter. It was the great purchase, the discovery. For me, it does resemble My Way, but I like the Emnan much more. I recommend it, but as they say, taste is in the eye of the beholder.
Lattafa did it again 🫶🏻 Emaan delivers a wonderful dupe of ‘My Way’, with an excellent price, mysterious velvet packaging and top quality. Longevity of 6 hours, moderate sillage and a super good price. For me, it’s a dupe closer to the ‘My Way’ Intense flanker; with patchouli and cedar, it’s a more nocturnal and potent scent than the original. I imagine it on an elegant adult woman or a young woman with dark feminine energy that draws attention wherever she goes. Excellent fragrance for the evening, though I wouldn’t recommend it for a club or hunting; I see it as more refined and sophisticated as it’s floral. I’d buy it a thousand times over.
Lattafa did it again 🫶🏻. Emaan is a wonderful dupe of ‘My Way’ with excellent pricing and velvet packaging. It lasts 6 hours with a moderate trail. It seems more similar to the Intense flanker due to the patchouli and cedar, ending up more nocturnal and potent than the original. I see it for an elegant adult woman or a young person with dark energy. Excellent for the night, but not for a club or hunting; it’s more refined and sophisticated. I would buy it a thousand times over.
I found it unpleasant. What I detect most is the smell of decomposing jasmine. I would recommend trying it before buying.
It was unpleasant to me. What I notice most is the smell of decomposing jasmine. I’d recommend trying it before buying.
It reminds me a lot of My Way; personally, I don’t like it. I find the Armani olfactory profile tiring, just like this version. I ended up gifting the Emaan. It has good longevity for its price.
I love it. I really detect the jasmine and blackcurrants, it has good longevity and isn’t overwhelming.
I love it! I detect quite a bit of jasmine and blackcurrant notes, it has good longevity and doesn’t overpower.
I tested it in-store and I’m glad I took a walk after spraying it: the first half-hour is extremely seductive and sophisticated (and the bottle is beautiful). Unfortunately, over time it smells like dirty water with cheap cream, very swampy and cheap; the white flower fades away. Also, I’m boycotting the UAE due to the genocide in Sudan, so it’s a resounding NO. There are plenty of jasmines and neroli in this life.
I tried it in-store and I’m glad I took a little walk after applying a drop; the first half-hour is super seductive with a sophisticated yet putrid touch. The bottle is also beautiful. Unfortunately, over time it smells like dirty water with cheap supermarket cream, very swampy and cheap; the white floral note faded, and besides, I’m boycotting the Emirates due to the genocide in Sudan, so it’s a resounding NO. There are plenty of jasmines and neroli in this life.
Floral, vanilla and creamy, exquisite! I think it’s a good blind buy. I see it more on a mature woman, over 40, but I’d use it anyway because it smells wonderful and is weightless.
The freshest and richest jasmine I’ve ever tried.
