  Smells fantastic, this is by André Courrèges. It’s a modern, elegant fougère: it opens herbal with mint and sage, moves into a floral heart of lavender with a very subtle vanilla touch that gives it a retro vibe, like an 80s barbershop, and dries down with benjuí wood, though very toned down. Everything is very soft and understated. Once dry, the base with tonka bean, musk, and ambroxan adds a bit more weight, longevity, and charm, making it commercial and agreeable for sensitive noses. It’s a pity the performance is moderate and short; on my skin it lasts a maximum of 3 hours. What a shame, because with more potency and 7-8 hours it would be a real showstopper that everyone would talk about. You have to spray it a lot, 7-8 times, to notice it for a while. If you use it for work from Monday to Friday, in class or in front of an audience, and want to smell good without drawing too much attention, it’s fine. I see it as versatile, suitable for all ages from 20, and quite unisex despite the name. Ideal for days with moderate temperatures, spring to autumn, due to its sweetness. For going out at night, it becomes cloying in the heat and lacks punch in the cold; even an Acqua di Giò would outperform it. Price: they’re not expensive, but you don’t find them easily in regular perfumeries in Spain. Better to go online or to more connoisseur shops. This one, like its Sport sibling which has more hype and looks great for summer, comes in at around 30-35€ for 100ml.
