Quite good. The opening is meh, fairly generic, but the dry-down is delightful: clean woods and in the base that note of oud. Don’t expect a strong oud; you have to smell closely to find it. I love it and the longevity is a gem: over 12 hours on skin, though not projecting the whole time, but it’s a good fragrance, simple and rich.
Great perfume if you can find it on offer (practically always). I doubt there’s anyone who wouldn’t like it; it lasts and projects well. On offer, you probably won’t find anything better in 100ml; at regular price it’s expensive for what it offers. It’s a scent that reminds you of others, likely without you realising it. It pleases everyone, which is important, but doesn’t surprise anyone, especially not collectors as it’s not revolutionary. Highly recommended purchase if the price is right.
Superb fragrance, delivers on its promises, with good sillage and longevity. Reminded me a lot of Hugo Boss Bottled, but that doesn’t take away from it. Well done, Tommy Hilfiger; I’m not a fan of their scents but I’m satisfied with the purchase. It’s a scent that pleases and lasts, which is what matters. Plus, I got it on sale, even better.
I’m 28 and own 30 fragrances. Tommy Impact is in my top three. A lovely citrus opening blending into woods, highlighting the Akigalawood. I prefer this original over its variants. Lasts 6-8 hours on skin with good projection for 2-4 hours. Buy blind; men and women both like it, easy to wear, and I’ve received many compliments.
In my experience, you have to break it down to understand it: it’s a scent totally different from the usual Tommy. The name fits; it hits you. I bought it blind due to the initial hype. At first glance, it didn’t blow my mind, but wearing it won me over with its accords, especially the Akigalawood. It’s youthful, informal, ideal for a university student. The bottle is beautiful, but be careful; it doesn’t stand alone; the cap comes off easily and the spray is one of the worst, it squirts and uses up quickly. Poor longevity, barely four hours on skin and very sillage-free. Projection lasts about an hour. The price in Argentina is madness, nearly $100; there are better options like Dior Homme. Conclusion: it’s Tommy’s first serious fragrance, trying to make the leap, but has a long way to go. Olfactorily it’s beautiful; I received compliments during that single hour of projection. If you’re a collector, get it. If you’re looking for something everyone will like, I don’t recommend it due to its performance and high cost. Cheers.
I picked it up for the nostalgia of the brand, even though Tommy isn’t a powerhouse in perfumery, so I gave it a chance. Tommy Impact is a contrast: it’s not bad, but it’s not a phenomenon. It delivers but lacks what would make it unique; very linear. It’s a deja vu you can’t quite identify. Very youthful; for a teenager it would be top tier, but for a mature man there are better options. Tommy Impact Intense has what this one lacks, we’ll see. Cheers.
I bought it for the merca note… and it didn’t live up to my expectations.
Fortunately, I took a decant and it didn’t work for me at all. Original, lacking a hook; honestly, it’s just left me indifferent.
Starts with citrus, then something spicy, ginger or pepper, and a hint of oregano. It doesn’t disgust me, but it’s not my style.
Well, Fragrantica Spanish fails at translation again. The note is coca leaf, not cocaine 🤦♀️
Excellent fragrance. Fresh, slightly herbal, distinguished and different from commercial scents… I dare say that in quality and aroma it could easily pass for a niche perfume. Performance is more than excellent, lasting twelve hours on skin without issue, projecting for the first five hours at a good distance. I wouldn’t buy it blindly; I recommend testing it first on skin. If you like it (which is most likely), you get a perfume that completely justifies the price. I see it for any season, especially for casual outings and even formal ones.
Well, what can I say… 1. I think it’s a perfume for elegant SPORT, suitable for any season… that touch of lavender gives you presence wherever you are, and if you’re well-groomed, it’s a 10… 2. The performance on my skin is excellent; it lasts past ten hours and projects for five of those… 3. It has that quite sweet but not cloying opening that accompanies you all day, along with the touch of lavender which, although not declared, is perceptible. To summarise, I’ve used it in all climates… it’s an excellent travel companion… being an elegant SPORT, it always leaves you looking sharp. I recommend it for men in their thirties; for those over 35 there are perfumes with more personality, but for me it’s a great success from the house. Cheers, hope this helps.
My teenage son wears it; it’s a fragrance with quite a presence yet I still find it fresh. I particularly like it for a night out; it has a significant trail.
I love it! That citrus opening and that touch of woods seem delicious to me. It lasts between eight and ten hours on skin and projects well for the first three hours. Recommended.
At first it’s fresh and citrusy; the woods make the dry-down soft and even. The sweetness of the amber at the end is wonderful. On skin it lasts easily eight hours and has good projection initially. Rating: 6.
Godiana.
Smells good but I don’t think it stands out too much.
I bought it because I tested it in a shopping centre and liked the scent and longevity. I use it regularly and it’s one of the perfumes that earns me the most compliments. It’s like a Boss Bottled, but instead of red apple, it’s an orange with lots of woods. It lasts about ten hours with six sprays. It’s not a new or challenging scent, but it is very addictive and compliment-worthy. I’m going to write a review on my YouTube channel with my experience.
I picked this up at Costco today for 1,099 pesos, a fair price. I was torn between Spark and this, but I went for the safe option since I didn’t know the scent of Spark. To my nose, it smells very much like the first generation of Boss Bottled, Good Girl by Carolina Herrera, with a twist of Libre by YSL. I see it as unisex, perfect for any season and occasion, preferably casual. I recommend it to anyone who wants to feel good with a woody aroma.
Well, I’ve been wearing this for two months and it was a total hit. It smells freshly cut wood with resin at first, then the citrus notes emerge, but the woods dominate with a soft, sweet dry-down. I’ve received more compliments at the office and my girlfriend absolutely loves it. It lasts about eight hours on skin; three sprays are enough to refresh it midday. It has good projection, making it ideal for the office, semi-formal dates, or family dinners. It works brilliantly in spring and summer, even into autumn. It’s fresh and pleasant, certainly not off-putting to anyone. The only downside is the spray comes out very directly and the cap pops off easily, but these are minor details. Without a doubt, this is one of my favourites and it’s not expensive; I’m already thinking of trying the Intense version.
I have had this fragrance for a month and bought it blind. The first few times I used it in full heat, I felt it was heavy to the point of giving me a headache. I don’t know if it was the weather or the stronger initial sprays. I was about to return it but kept using it to give it another chance. Currently I use it daily and the experience is totally different. The fragrance is simple and basically smells like woods. The longevity is outstanding; it lasts me a full workday. When I returned home after 8 hours, my wife was the first to say I still smell. I’ve received a couple of compliments and I feel very comfortable with this scent.
The resemblance to Boss Bottled (at least the Intense I have) is brutal, at least for the first hour. Afterwards on my skin, the perfume ‘fell apart’ and turned into a pure synthetic smell and fixative, which I imagine must be those wood notes mixed with amber and musk of poor quality. At least Boss Bottled Intense maintains that opening accord which seems very effective, although sometimes I find it a bit dated. I will continue trying to finish the bottle of Boss Bottled because this type of aromas are the ones I liked first, but this Tommy Impact doesn’t even make me want to finish the sample.
SIMPLE, FULFILLING AND GOOD PERFORMANCE. Its aroma is not novel; it can remind you of many fragrances but doesn’t specifically recall one, so it has its degree of ‘originality’ without being a different smell. It is simple (Citrus, ‘Dark’ Woods and Musk), I perceive modernity; it doesn’t evoke something old, quite the opposite, it feels current and youthful, consequently interesting. I think it is more SUITABLE for heat and day; while it can be a 4×4 and a signature, it lacks sensuality for a night date, I don’t consider it elegant although it is casual or semi-formal, it looks excellent for the gym and any outing with friends. I received compliments of the type ‘you smell very rich’, from ladies and gentlemen, it was noticeable and of general taste, without negative comments and great personal enjoyment. PERFORMANCE excellent, lasted me 7-8 hours, projecting strongly for the first hour; after 15 sprays I reduced it to 8 because it was potent, I also noticed a denser trail than usual for an EDT. PRICE was ‘affordable’ 3 years ago, outside department stores it didn’t exceed $1,000 MXN, it could easily be a BBB perfume, surpassing more expensive fragrances, so don’t hesitate to try before buying. Compliments 9, Longevity 10, Projection 10, Trail 9, Price 10, TOTAL 9.6.
A very rich fragrance. It won’t blow your wig off at first, but if you can get it at a good price, it’s a good buy. It has similarities with Boss Bottled, and I detect a hint of Ferragamo Intense Leather in the dry-down. The 100ml version comes with a decant in the cap, a great idea by the brand.
It has a… strange and particular smell. It’s very woody but smells a bit like hair gel or something synthetic; I can’t quite describe it, it just smells odd. Citrus and woody from start to finish, fresh and ambered. It’s very versatile, but its best moment is in mild weather, especially on rainy days; I feel it fits perfectly with the smell of wet earth. Suitable for all ages. Note: if you are looking for a blue scent like Sauvage or Y, this has nothing of that, nor floral or spicy notes, less fruity, it leans more towards Bleu de Chanel. Good longevity, minimum 7 up to maximum 10 hours if you apply many sprays, projecting about 3 hours. It’s a very good option for a signature scent; although it seems like many fragrances in its simplicity, that strange and rich smell makes it distinctive. Not impressive, just fulfilling. Pyramid: 50% Woods, 30% Citrus, 20% Amber. Extreme heat 6/10, Heat 8/10, Cold 8/10, Extreme Cold 5/10, Mild 10/10, School/Office 9/10, Dates 7.5/10, Special Occasions 7/10, Daily 10/10. If you are young, looking for something rich, woody and masculine for daily wear and safe for any occasion, it’s a very good option 💗.
Serious contender for my signature scent. Fresh citrus opening (yes, it can remind you of Boss Bottled) and an exceptional dry-down that is woody and masculine. Very good longevity. They sell it under another name and hype it until it sells out. We are just sheep.
Unbearable. It’s an amber-heavy, hemp-like scent with suffocating, spicy herbal undertones. A blend of green amber, spicy balsamic notes, and buds that smell like hemp. Like many perfumes today, it smells cheap; I’m not saying ten-euro scents don’t smell glorious, but this has the texture of current casino or hotel air fresheners. I haven’t tried anything so unpleasant in the designer sector for a while, a spray sentence that shouldn’t have been bottled. The top notes lead with coca leaf and amber; the Akigalawood molecule gives it that artificial oily wood sub-tone that becomes more noticeable as it dries.
I was surprised; it’s truly masculine, very woody and rich. It’s versatile and good value for the price. At first, it didn’t last long, but after letting it macerate a bit, it lasts me 8-9 hours with about 3 hours of projection.
I get a bitter note from Tommy Hilfiger Impact that feels like a mix between Dior Sauvage and Montblanc Starwalker. While some find it rich, I find it repulsive due to that typical bitter Sauvage edge. It smells of fine woods with that persistent bitter taste on my skin. Suitable for daily wear, uncomplicated and quite informal. My rating: 6/10.
Excellent. Smells fantastic. The longevity is surprisingly good, with a balanced projection that isn’t overpowering. It’s not as woody as some say; instead, it’s fruity with red apple notes and a touch of white woods. To be honest, it reminds me a lot of Ferrari Black but with better performance.
Beautiful fragrance, undoubtedly my favourite among my collection of 60 perfumes. I’d never found a fresh perfume that lasted as long as this; it smells very rich and lasts well for a fresh scent. It’s a scent I have to keep smelling because I like it so much; girls love it. If it resembles its brother, the Intense, then in my opinion this one is much better, fresher.
I don’t understand what the coca leaf smells like, but the opening is indeed somewhat citrusy and ambered. A saleswoman gave me many 1.5mL samples (4 or 5, haha), and I took one of my empty 5mL decants and filled it; the liquid is blue. Now that I’ve been using it a bit more, I can say it’s a good perfume, versatile. I have preferences for perfumes of this type but less woody and more aquatic and marine; this is a rich woody scent. From here, I’ll add something based on other comments: I couldn’t detect that marijuana sensation they mentioned; honestly, if it were an undisclosed note, it’s not even slightly pronounced, nothing, it’s more reminiscent of Bad Boy Le Parfum. It reminds me of Terre d’Hermes Eau Intense Vetiver, though this one shifts to the woody side sooner. I can only recommend it, easy to like, not very distinctive but not a bad perfume. They prefer the Parfum version for the triad: vanilla/oud/leather, but that’s more because it’s my thing; in reality, they are two completely different perfumes. 9.3/10.
It smells like the traditional Hugo Boss Bottled, nothing more; I don’t understand the hype, it’s a good fragrance but literally it’s just that.
To my taste, it’s not for me; I’m not saying it’s bad, but I just don’t like it. At the start, it has a very fresh and citrusy opening that is very pleasant; I was fascinated by that initial burst, but as it dries down it changes to a rather heavy smell, smelling too much of incense, like a ‘santería’ or even a church, and from that point on I didn’t like it. I understand that according to the notes it’s very woody, but I wouldn’t recommend it for that heavy aroma.
I tried it and decided to buy it. It reminds me of my favourite Bois Imperial, but this one is even more casual and versatile for any occasion. It’s one of the best and I love it.
One of my favourites! I don’t understand why so many people don’t like it; to me, it’s one of the best fragrances I’ve tried. It’s a scent that’s both youthful and mature: it opens with citrus and woody notes that, as they dry down, become deeper and spicier. It leaves a pleasant trail and projects well. I wear it daily on fresh, sunny days, but it also works great on an autumn afternoon or even at a night event. A 10/10 in my collection.
Worth it: it’s a fruity-woody perfume with great longevity and average projection. If I were to describe it, it’s like a cocktail of oranges inside a cabin, very masculine.
This perfume holds the record for compliments in the shortest time. It’s dense, not for extreme heat. The opening is peculiar: effeminate, resinous, and heavy, with the citrus arriving later. It’s not typical where the fresh notes explode first; here, the wood enters within the first second and the citrus peeks out afterwards. Something curious is that it gives off a vibe of clean skin or sweat, nothing unpleasant. That strange note really grabs attention. It’s not the typical youthful perfume of today; it has personality, character, and a distinct style.
I’ve used it quite a bit, so here’s my take: it’s a super clean, fresh woody-citrus scent. Simple but it does its job. Smells different on clothes compared to skin. Being linear means no complex pyramid, but freshly applied it shines with real vitality. It starts with white woods and that famous chemical note, Akigalawood (a patchouli derivative), giving a clean metallic feel, like freshly washed powder. The citrus doesn’t explode at first but resonates in the dry down; to me, it smells of orange and a hint of lime, with a very subtle herbal nuance, perhaps coca. The base is amber to give body without weighing it down, plus a musk that ties everything together. Compared to Bois Imperial by Quentin, this captures about 45% of that essence, but here you get musk and amber where the other has citrus. It’s like its affordable, solid version for the price. Ideal for spring, summer, and autumn, day wear only, as it loses strength in cold or evening. Smells unisex-masculine and suits any casual occasion. Longevity 4-6 hours, strong projection for the first two, though if you sweat it reappears. Price: 8.5/10, Versatility: 6.5/10, Sillage: 6.5/10, Scent: 7/10. A good scent for everyday life.
If you’re looking for something cheap and different from what everyone else is wearing, Tommy Impact is the choice. Despite what they say, it smells of red apple, wood, and amber, all blended with a deep aquatic touch.
