Descripción
Inexcusable Evil by Toskovat', launched in 2022, is an aromatic fragrance family creation designed for men and women. The nose behind this scent is David-Lev Jipa-Slivinschi. The top notes reveal gunpowder and ozonic accents; the heart unfolds a bold combination of blood, iodine, flowers, copaiba balsam, cyperus, and guaiac wood; while the base notes settle on a bed of concrete, rain notes, incense, and sandalwood.

You have to try it; what an emotion!
Oh my god, this review is so hard… I don’t know whether to give it a yes or no… On one hand, it smells disgusting; I would never wear it. On the other, the quality is brutal and it perfectly replicates the moment you’re seeking. If you like blood, gangrene, gunpowder and oxidised iron, you’ll love it; if not, get out of the way because this is exactly what it is.
Holy cow, what a difficult review… I don’t know whether to put if it’s good or bad. On one hand, it seems like a disgusting perfume that I would never wear. On the other, it’s of very high quality and perfectly replicates the moment it seeks. If you like blood, gangrene, gunpowder, and oxidised iron scents, you’ll love it; if not, stay away, because this is really that.
I think if you smell this in the dry-down phase without being told it has blood and gunpowder notes, or that it’s inspired by the desperation and pain of war, you wouldn’t see it coming before the 80 TikToks talking about how ‘ULTRA NICHE’ it is and that it smells like a demon from hell. Few would say it smells repulsive. Smells different? Yes. Smells strange? Yes. And it might not suit you? Of course. But does it smell bad? NO. After so much context on YouTube and TikTok with horrific images, I expected a slap in the face upon smelling it. It hasn’t been like that. The opening didn’t seem overwhelming; it’s a soft gunpowder. After 2 or 3 minutes, that gunpowder fades and that metallic, mineral note emerges, evoking blood. If you expect it like that, it will remind you of blood, because iron is iron, that’s simple. It might result in being unpleasant if you’re looking for something bad, which is what it aims for. But objectively, it doesn’t smell bad. I’ve smelled worse things, like gunpowder and burnt smoke in Vi et Armis or Tonnerre de Beaufort London; that does overwhelm. It’s not easy; it moves away from the usual, but it’s neither repulsive nor vomit-inducing. Perhaps you won’t receive compliments, but also no rejection. It might attract attention, and not necessarily for bad reasons.
There’s a lot of noise about this perfume, whether it smells like rotting meat, blood, or war. In my case, upon smelling it, I felt something penetrating and peculiar. I think we’ve all smelled something similar in life, but it’s not unpleasant, simply very sharp. Here are two paths: one aseptic, like medicine and sterile solutions due to the iodine, and another dusty, dirty, like concrete and gunpowder. It’s very metallic, hence the relation to the smell of blood, although it doesn’t smell like blood itself. When dry, it feels more earthy and woody. It could evoke an emergency room in the middle of a war. Is it usable? I wouldn’t wear it, but there are people who would. I see it as an olfactory experiment and admire it for its complexity and irreverence.
Seriously, they compare it to Náutica Voyage???
People on social media say it smells like rotting meat or death, but that’s a lie. It has a very different profile from the usual; it’s not disgusting or vomit-inducing. I like it: it opens powerfully and sharply, hard to assimilate, then leaves a metallic scent when dry. It’s dark, strong, and penetrating, lasting 10-12 hours on skin. DO NOT BUY IT BLIND.
Pleasantly surprised by this fragrance. I tested it in a niche and indie store and didn’t expect the addictive nature of the scent. I wouldn’t buy it because I wouldn’t wear it much, but as a scent to appreciate or smell on someone else, I like it. I’ve returned to smell the blotter many times and went back to the store, although it gives me a headache, I can’t tear my nose away hahaha. I smelled it on a rainy day and it was magical and melancholic to the point of death. Wonderful concept; I perceive a lot of gunpowder with metallic touches and something earthy. Like a war tank, that’s how I imagine it (though I’ve never smelled one xD).
Pleasantly surprised by this fragrance. I had the opportunity to try it in a niche and fine perfumery, and I didn’t expect the scent to be so addictive. I wouldn’t buy it as I wouldn’t use it much, but as a scent to appreciate or to smell on someone else, I do like it. I’ve returned to smell the blotter many times, I’ve gone back to the shop to try it again, and although it gives me a headache, I can’t tear my nose away, hehe. I smelled it on a rainy day and it was magical and morbidly melancholic. Wonderful concept; I perceive a lot of gunpowder, with metallic touches and something earthy. I imagine it like a war tank (although I’ve never smelled one xD)
Does anyone know what this perfume resembles Náutica Voyage?
The day I met this fragrance, I tested several from the house blind, without knowing the notes or chords, just the name. When I smelled Inexcusable Evil, the hairs on the back of my neck stood up and I couldn’t even manage to smell the blotter for a second. Something was wrong; it smelled odd and made me uncomfortable emotionally, a nearly visceral rejection. Objectively, it has a very sharp metallic aspect, with mineral, earthy, and burnt nuances, plus a very realistic blood accord. It causes me tremendous discomfort. I swear I tried to analyse it more, but my stomach hurt after smelling it for more than two seconds; my teeth ground together and I got a headache. It was like voluntarily walking towards an aggressor who hits me, and I move away by reflex, yet I return, trapped in an addiction cycle to violence. This olfactory experience took me to a war field, with an impossible conversation between rage, gunfire, anguish, and mutilated humans. I don’t know if it would be different on skin or if it evolves; I only know that the half-hour trying to understand it was the most anguishing moment of my journey in perfumery.
The day I met this fragrance, I had the pleasure of trying several from the house blind, without knowing the notes or chords; I just read the name and hoped to smell something that would make me say: ‘Yes, this is it’, ‘This takes me to…’. When I atomised Inexcusable Evil, the hair on my arms stood up and I couldn’t even manage to stay smelling the blotter for one second. Something was wrong, something smelled odd, and it emotionally unsettled me; it was an almost visceral rejection. Objectively, it has a very piercing metallic aspect, with mineral nuances, something earthy, something burnt and a very realistic blood accord. But it produces a tremendous discomfort in me. I swear I tried to analyse it more, but my stomach ached smelling it for more than two seconds; my teeth chattered, my head hurt. It was as if, voluntarily, I were facing an aggressor and I told him ‘hit me’, and he hit me, and I moved away by reflex, but I returned to stand in front of him again, repeating this cycle, in an inexplicable addiction to violence. This olfactory experience (because I consider it that, I don’t see this for perfuming anyone, hehe) took me to a war field, where there exists an impossible conversation to reach an agreement between rage, gunfire, anguish and mutilated humans. I don’t know if the appreciation on skin would be different, nor do I know if it evolves into something else; I only know that the half-hour I spent trying to understand it was the most anguishing half-hour on this perfumery journey.
I tried it blind in a niche perfumery because the name caught my attention. I had seen a few TikToks about Toskovat’, but I also didn’t want to let myself be carried away by the reviews as, in the end, everything is very subjective. Said that, I opine that this perfume, for me, is more of an olfactory experience than something I would wear. If I had to describe it with a scene, I would say it’s like bleeding in the snow. It’s a perfume that I usually describe as cold. The gunpowder notes, iodine and that ‘blood’ smell… metallic; that’s what predominates most for me. Lots of projection and lots of longevity. The price is according to pocket, tastes and what you like about the experience. Personally, I’m not capable of valuing this perfume for my collection. I didn’t like anything at all, but hey, try it yourself! That said, I don’t see it for me for a blind buy.
The most brutal scent I’ve ever smelled, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, nor should you throw your money away.
I tested it blind in a niche store because the name caught my eye. I’d seen TikToks about Toskovat’, but I didn’t want to be swayed by opinions. In my view, it’s more of an olfactory experience than something to wear. If I were to describe it with a scene, it would be bleeding in the snow. It’s a very cold perfume, with notes of gunpowder, iodine, and that dominant metallic smell of blood. It has great projection and longevity. The price depends on your wallet and tastes. Personally, I can’t see how to value it for my collection. I didn’t like it at all, but try it yourself! Just don’t buy it blind.
