I tested this before buying it. The seller told me it was a dupe of Paco Rabanne’s Phantom, but it has nothing to do with it. I don’t recall Phantom tasting as good as this, although the scent sounded familiar. Upon reflection, it reminded me of Valentino Uomo Coral Fantasy. I checked Fragrantica and indeed, the listed notes are very similar. The difference is that this lacks the leather and clary sage found in Valentino. I’d say it’s about 85% similar, but this feels a bit denser. Whatever, it’s delicious and shines without needing to copy anyone. Unfortunately, it’s undervalued, which is good because it keeps the price low and not everyone will smell it. In short, a totally masculine aroma, neither heavy nor mature. It’s elegant and can be worn every day without issues. Opens with cardamom and apple, closes with tonka bean, geranium and tobacco. Delicious, manly, elegant and versatile. It just lacks a bit in longevity and projection, but they are decent.
I tested it before purchasing. The seller assured me it was a dupe of Paco Rabanne’s Phantom, but not even close. I didn’t remember Phantom tasting as good as this, but the aroma sounded like Valentino Uomo Coral Fantasy. I confirmed on Fragrantica and the notes match closely. It just lacks the leather and clary sage that Valentino includes. I’d say it’s 85% similar, although I feel this one is a bit denser. Whatever, it’s delicious and shines without being a shadow of another. It’s undervalued, which is good because it keeps the price low and not everyone smells the same. It’s a totally masculine aroma, neither heavy nor mature. Elegant and perfect for everyday wear. Opens with cardamom and apple, closes with tonka bean, geranium and tobacco. Delicious, manly, elegant and versatile. Only minor complaints about longevity and projection, but they are decent.
Very good perfume! I sensed it as a blend between Hugo Boss Bottled and Wanted by Azzaro; that’s the feeling. The only downside is the performance; it doesn’t last long on my skin, but given the price, that doesn’t matter. I’d buy it blind again as long as they don’t reformulate it.
A very good fragrance in my opinion; I simply say the scent is rich and I believe it’s easy for most to enjoy.
Quite a rich fragrance; I find it similar to Asad, though this one is a bit less intense and sweeter. I perceive a coconut note, even though it’s not listed. Very little longevity; ideal for winter, although with careful spraying it can be used in heat.
I bought it for the striking and original presentation. Upon first spraying, it lasted on my skin for at least 12 hours and I loved it, but my father-in-law liked it so much I gifted it to him. Two months later, I bought another bottle, but the longevity was very poor, barely 5 hours, so I left it gathering dust. The scent is discreet and pleasant; at times it reminds me of Danonino strawberry yoghurt from Mexico, something most people will like. What a pity that the difference in fixation and projection between the two bottles was so noticeable in just two months (though I might have got a weak batch). For the price, it’s worth getting one because it draws a lot of attention and appears more expensive than it is.
I’d say Uomo Coral Fantasy is 90% identical. It lasts over 9 hours on my skin, and the projection is insane. I’d buy it again without hesitation.
If you’re impressed by the opening, it’s a 10/10… but then comes the drydown and… more of the same: chewing gum, sweet, generic.
Rich, identical to the Valentino Coral Fantasy in both longevity and projection; I tested and compared them. It’s worth it if you like this style; it’s youthful. I wear it for work or university and it works well, very versatile for cold weather. The opening and heart are rich, but the drydown doesn’t convince me; the synthetic note and the price difference become apparent. Still, very good; it gets compliments from everyone. For such a crazy price, 8.5/10.
After wearing it for two weeks, the opening is pure delight. However, watch out: within seconds it evolves into apple tobacco, rich and enveloping. If you don’t like tobacco, it’s not for you. It’s versatile, ideal for cold weather. Projection is moderate, lasting 2-3 hours in the air before sticking to the skin for another 7. It’s not youthful; I see it as perfect for those over 20, well-dressed with a casual-formal style. In short, 8/10.
9.5/10, what a stunner. The resemblance to Valentino Born In Roma is incredible, bravo to Lataffa!
What a delight! I can’t part with the Valentino or the Jasoor even when buying blind. The Jasoor lasts a little less, but at this price, there’s no complaint. An exquisite masterpiece; I recommend it 100%.
Simply excellent. 🫠
If you have any doubts, buy it now. I own the Valentino Coral Fantasy and it’s identical. Purists might say it has different nuances, but in real life, we notice nothing. I’ll just say that Jasoor’s opening is a bit synthetic for the first 20 seconds, and then believe me, they are the same. Top.
If you’re reading this with doubts, pull the trigger and buy it without hesitation. I own the Coral Fantasy by Valentino and it is identical. There will be many purists saying there are differences here and there blah blah blah, but ordinary people won’t notice any difference in the real world. The only thing, and already being pedantic, would be to say that Jasoor’s opening is a tiny bit more synthetic for the first 20 seconds; from then on, believe me, they are identical. Top.
Excellent price-to-quality ratio. Exquisite aroma, with a sweet and spicy touch in the development, highlighting tobacco throughout the dry down. Synthetic opening as expected, but after 30 seconds, notes of apple, cardamom, and bergamot emerge, with a base of lavender and tobacco as the protagonist. Honestly, I don’t like the tobacco note in perfumery, but they have done a very good job. It’s youthful, informal, for everyday wear, slightly unisex leaning masculine due to the tobacco. I give it an 8 out of 10 because although it smells good, it is synthetic, but very versatile for fresh weather and evenings, dates, and casual outings. Longevity of approx. 6 hours on my skin (unfortunately, fragrances don’t last long on me 😭) and sillage is moderately short. EDIT: I’ve left it to oxidise for over three months and its performance and aroma have improved considerably; excellent purchase if you can get it as it’s very scarce due to the hype. I tested it side-by-side with Coral Fantasy and Jasoor is somewhat more synthetic and fresh, whereas Valentino is more fruity with a more present tobacco note.
I bought this thinking it was a safe purchase given all the reviews and because channels like Fragabi, Perfumones and Samy rate it as one of Lattafa’s best. Curiously, to me it seems to be one of the worst I’ve tried and owned. It’s a synthetic mess with mixed notes where the only thing that predominates is an intense sweetness. I asked my wife, who has a better sense of smell and is a lover of sweet perfumes, and she sentenced it by calling it ‘medicinal smell’. Luckily the bottle is at the bottom of my cupboard, looking good for nothing.
I bought this fragrance thinking it was a safe blind buy based on all the comments and because YouTube channels like Fragabi, Perfumones, and Samy rate it as one of Lattafa’s best. Curiously, to me, it seems to be one of the worst Lattafa scents I’ve tried and certainly one of the worst in my collection. It’s a synthetic mess where the only thing that predominates is intense sweetness. I sought my wife’s opinion, who has a better sense of smell and is a perfume lover. She sentenced it, describing it as ‘medicinal’. Fortunately, the bottle sits very well at the bottom of my wardrobe.
Initially disappointed. They only resemble each other in the opening with Coral Fantasy. As they dry down, they take different paths; this one smells worse, somewhat smoky and more potent. I gave it a few days, perhaps my opinion will change. But it is NOT identical to the CF. Three days later: As I suspected, I ended up liking it. It’s a good option if you don’t want to spend so much and want to use it daily. For special occasions, I would recommend the original.
I’m disappointed because at first they only resemble each other in the opening with Coral Fantasy, but as they dry down they go down different paths; this smells of lower quality, something smoky and more potent. I let it sit for a few days and perhaps my opinion will change, but it is NOT THE SAME as CF. Three days later: as I suspected, I ended up liking it. I think it’s a good option if you don’t want to spend so much and use it daily, but for special occasions I’d recommend the original.
Does it resemble Coral Fantasy? Yes, although the quality isn’t the same, it delivers. It arrived today at 1:30; I sprayed it on my hand and it’s still smelling (about six hours later), so it lasts all day. The projection is moderate. It’s versatile; I bought it for a party but I think it’s good for when the cold sets in (it has a sweet touch, though barely noticeable).
I opened this on 1st February and initially the scent was rich but lasted almost nothing, barely grazing the skin. Today, 7th April, the projection and longevity are four times better or more; I wore it at 6:30 and by 12:00 it was noticeable on me and around me. Would I buy it again? Of course! I was surprised at how it gained so much strength over time.
Opened it on Saturday, 1 February 2025; lovely scent but almost non-existent longevity, very skin-scented. Today, 7 April, it has four times the projection and longevity or more. I wore it at 6:30 am, and by 12:00 noon, the perfume was detectable (and I was noticeable). Would I buy it again? Absolutely! I was surprised at how the scent gained strength over time.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Smells delicious: apple, sweet tobacco, tonka bean, and cardamom. It gives an elegant, sweet, and modern vibe; note that it’s sweet tobacco, not pipe tobacco. The first lady who hugged me said, ‘You smell wonderful, tell me what perfume it is so I can buy it for my husband.’ Friends and acquaintances have also said it smells ‘chic’. I wear it day or night in temperate or cold weather with formal attire. I wore it to the office in a suit and received compliments; it also works for dates or parties with a smart outfit. It lasts about seven hours on the skin, lingers on clothes, and projects well; the day they commented on it, I had worn it in my jacket and arrived at the office three hours later without needing to reapply. Fair price; with what others cost, you could buy the Valentino. The bottle is beautiful and original. Compliments: 10, Longevity: 7, Projection: 8, Sillage: 8, Price: 10. TOTAL 8.6
Smells identical to Coral Fantasy, perhaps just a touch warmer. It carries the same reputation for compliments as the Valentino masterpiece, but for a third of the price. 10/10 ✅
Jasoor by Lattafa is a real winner, super versatile and bargain-priced. Ideal for everyday wear and any weather. The blend of apple, lavender, and tobacco smells fantastic and is truly captivating. The bottle is lovely and it lasts for ages, so buying it blind is hardly a risk. It suits everyone, perfect as a gift or for yourself.
A sweet and dense aroma that lasts on the skin for more than 6 hours. Perhaps the alcohol is felt in the opening, but then it dissipates.
If you have the opportunity, try it. I would not say it is a blind buy because it is not for everyone. I have the Coral Fantasy in decant and know it well; it is similar between 85% and 90%. I was looking for a substitute because there is a shortage in my country and shops sell it at exorbitant prices. The opening is sweet red apple, less sweet and more realistic than the Valentino, but the dry down with tobacco, tonka bean, geranium, and lavender is the best. It is very rich and full of compliments (I clarify that you need an extroverted personality to wear it). Sincerely an 8/10 for longevity, although unfortunately it loses a bit of the soul of the Coral Fantasy: the persistent red apple in the dry down, which here is very faint and comes and goes. The price is a bargain, between $25 and $30.
It is a rather pleasant scent, I would say unisex but leaning towards the masculine side (by current standards). If I saw it at the price mentioned in the comments (maximum $30), as a collector I would not hesitate to buy it. But at the local prices in my Caribbean island in Venezuela, where it reaches around $65… I would pass on it. Those apple and spice notes remind me of some modern Dunhill creations. The tobacco is light but pleasant.
Notes of apple, soft tobacco, and lavender. The rest is there to round it off. I do not have the Coral Fantasy, but I do have the Born In Roma Intense and there is some similarity (I imagine that sweet lavender). It is a good perfume for everyday wear, ideal as a signature scent due to its charm and distinction. It is a not-too-common aroma and very versatile.
Look, I own this fragrance and bought it without much thought; I recommend letting it macerate for 1 to 2 months. When new, it smells a bit odd, sweet, and doesn’t resemble the original Valentino Uomo Coral Fantasy, but those who own it say that after 4 months of maceration the scent changes and becomes similar to the original. One must wait and make the best of what we have. Fortunately, I have the original in the meantime, so I will have patience.
I have tested the Jasoor and the perfume it clones or is inspired by (I do not consider it a 1:1 clone) and can assure you that it does not come close to the quality of the Valentino BIR Coral Fantasy. The Jasoor, from the opening to the dry down, smells quite rough and falls short of the Valentino’s quality. Yes, they are similar when dry, but generally, they are quite far apart; I would rate the similarity at 65%. The main difference is that the Coral Fantasy declares red apple in the opening, while the Jasoor features green apple, which makes the Jasoor more strident at first, in addition to the fact that the tobacco blends better with the red apple. Do not misunderstand me; the Jasoor is a good perfume and I would recommend it, but it is not up to the standard of the Valentino in terms of quality. One must speak the truth to avoid creating false expectations.
I see so many contradictory comments about this fragrance that make one hesitate to buy it… The best option is to try a decant or test it in the perfumery itself. Although most reviews are positive.
Listen, if you have this fragrance, I recommend letting it mature for one to two months. When it first comes out, it smells a bit odd and sweet, nothing like the original Valentino Uomo Coral Fantasy, but those who already own it say that after four months of maturation the scent changes and resembles the original. You have to wait and use what you have; luckily I have the original in the meantime, so I’ll have patience.
Having smelled the Valentino Coral Fantasy once and not being an expert, I’d say they are quite similar. Although the Lattafa version has a more synthetic opening, once they dry down, the two fragrances are very similar, almost identical. Considering it costs around $25, I would recommend it wholeheartedly if you like the Valentino or are looking for something similar.
Upon first smelling the Valentino Born In Roma Coral Fantasy, I thought I had to own it: a delicious masculine scent with an DNA that attracts everyone. While waiting for my order, I bought this Jasoor based on TikTok and forum reviews, despite the divided opinions; one must experience it for themselves. At first, I wasn’t impressed; they were similar but not an exact clone, which led me down a different path. I let the perfume rest to see what would happen, and now, after a year, the truth is that the scent has changed and smells much richer. Damn, what a delicious aroma! It’s exactly what I expected when I bought it. A fantastic fragrance and I recommend it 100%. It’s captivating, attractive, and generates compliments. Buy it; your senses will thank you.
Tested on a macerated decant applied directly to the skin alongside the original Valentino Uomo Born In Roma CF. The scent is almost identical, though the Jasoor feels slightly more potent with a hint of artificiality, whereas the Valentino comes across as softer and of better quality. Both are delightful, and unless you sniff them with a magnifying glass, you won’t be able to tell them apart. For now, if you enjoy the Valentino CF, this Jasoor is a blind buy.
