  It’s a very loose reinterpretation of several old Loewe women’s fragrances like Gala, Aura, L, and others. This photo shows the ‘Andalusí’ edition. I never understood why they pulled them or changed them so badly, as happened with Aura or L. Here, the result differs greatly from the original L: there’s nothing green; galbanum and ylang-ylang dominate. It has gained potency but lost its former sophistication; they’re almost two different perfumes. The original was a green floral, while this one is a woody floral. I agree with someone who said the first one smelled like expensive perfume spilled on a good leather bag; now that leather is gone, there’s only benzoin. The trail and longevity have improved—moderately heavy, lasting over seven hours, though the last three hours are just a faint citrus-floral residue close to the skin. I hope they bring out special editions soon.
