Loewe 7 Anonimo by Loewe

It might be my nose or a hazy memory, but it smells like Ganymede. If so, I need that bottle now (I’ve used a decant for ages); if not, even better, as the other one was lovely. It has a frankincense opening but stays fresh, evoking Ganymede’s mineral quality. It should be heavier in notes, yet it’s the opposite. The opening is addictive immediately. Then a light, perceptible suede emerges, holding the fragrance until the end with vetiver. I detect very little else. In short: for cold weather, fresh in its own way, without density. Markedly masculine, a Swiss Army knife. Use it whenever you like; it never clashes. In heat, absolutely not, it would overwhelm you. Performance is correct, not projecting, lasting over four hours before it fades. Price is more than fair. Loewe almost never fails, well-deserved.

I tried this a couple of days ago, and let me tell you, of the 7 line, this formula is the weakest. The opening feels the aromatic notes of pink pepper and vetiver; over time, frankincense and sandalwood compete, yet they help each other, though not always. I think it’s a wholly aromatic perfume. The leather is soft, suede-like, elegant, but don’t expect raw, heavy leather like a Gucci Absolut; combined with absinthe, it makes it totally autumnal. I can’t see myself wearing it in summer or hot days; it’s for cloudy days, rain, or temperatures not exceeding 22°C. Lasting power is weak, around 5 to 7 hours, so only for cool or cold climates. Low projection: one hour, that’s its limit.

What more can be said (I believe it’s already been said, haha)? Simply enjoy some of the few remaining commercial gems. I also tried the old version; I can’t find any major differences. Perhaps my nose detects a difference in the incense note, but we’re talking negligible percentages. The performance is beautiful, lasting well above average, perhaps 8 or 9 hours. Projection is excellent for the first three hours, then fades very slowly to settle into a bubble of about two metres for another five hours. Afterwards, it sits close to the skin with a sublime scent. Scent: 9/10, Longevity: 10/10, Projection: 8/10, Sillage: 7/10, Value for money: 8/10, Blind buy: 6/10, Versatility: 4/10. Season: temperate climates and could work in warm weather (using less). Evening outings and late afternoons that aren’t too hot.

This was my Christmas discovery; Loewe had never caught my attention before, but I smelled it out of curiosity and it was spectacular. It’s not a dark scent like I usually prefer, but more friendly to the general public. People tend to see it as an evening fragrance, whereas in cold weather I wear it at any time of day. Its longevity on me is moderate, but you pay for what you get.

After wearing it for the third time, I can truly appreciate it. The first two times, I noticed little presence, as if the scent was contained, yet very rich. With oxygenation, things changed and magic happened. It is true that it is not a projecting fragrance, but there is so much elegance in it. The opening is pepper and frankincense, which then turns into amber and woods with a hint of freshly sharpened pencil lead. It is very special and not mainstream, making it unique and worthy of compliments like few others. A fragrance for autumn and winter days. It deserves to be worn elegantly to match it, as I don’t see it as casual or sporty. This smells of power, of a determined person, of a mortgage paid off… Suitable for day/evening/night. Perfect for the office and formal occasions. Longevity 8/10, Sillage 7/10, Scent 9/10, OVERALL 8/10, Batch 01/2022.

The first impression of Anonyme, with its incense opening, is like stepping into an ancient mystery. It’s a delicate incense that evokes the occult. For those seeking something that endures, its longevity is notable: it stays firm on the skin for 8 hours and even longer on clothes, enveloping you in elegance. Ideal for cold climates, day or night; I see it more for formal situations, though it depends on the individual. I don’t recommend buying blind. For me, this perfume is a reminder that, like in a good story, the fascinating part isn’t what is known, but what is unknown; not the answer, but the question.

Simple review: I bought the fragrance because the scent captivated me; it’s quite different, with clear oriental influences and that mysterious incense, simply exquisite and refined. It’s my first Loewe fragrance; I’ve tried almost the whole line, but I had to take this bottle. The scent is magnificent. It’s exquisite; if you’re looking for something elegant and different, here’s a good option. It’s not as heavy as I thought, it’s at a borderline point. It’s not for blind buying, as although the scent is good, it’s not for everyone. The price seems reasonable; I haven’t found another fragrance of this quality and scent. The only thing that declines is the performance, which as far as I know is better in the large bottle. Edit: I’ve been using it more and realised that, although it’s from 2023, it has good performance. It lasted from night to morning and stayed impregnated all day with good projection.

My version is the black bottle with the small 7. I like it a lot and I think it handles the 6/7 hours well. As I haven’t tried the other, I imagine it would carry more incense; in this case, I note a well-balanced incense and leather. I like it because it takes me on an olfactory walk to the zoco in Granada, with leather shops and burning incense sticks nearby.

One of the best things Loewe has released after its iconic classics like Essencia or Pour Homme… I have a little bottle of the old ones, those with a metallic embellisher over a black cylinder, not the ones so similar to the Serge Lutens line, so I don’t know if it’s been reformulated. Today is a very rainy day and temperatures have dropped… today is the perfect day to light this 7 Anonyme. Unlike the 7 straight, this Loewe has much more wearable incense, with a tiny liturgical touch but very subtle, and it rests all on a slightly sweet and dry leather due to the labdanum, alongside the smoky creaminess of the sandalwood. It’s elegant, mature, and personally I think it goes very well on cold days, although if you like it you can wear it whenever you feel like it. The quality of the composition is very good and the performance too, so there are few or no faults to be found with this creation with niche airs. As I said, a very cool bet.

A truly elegant and delicious gem, completely detached from current trends. I have a 2021 batch and am unaware of the black bottle version. Incense dominates throughout its evolution, with a woody touch; I didn’t detect the leather. While the incense is very present, it isn’t intrusive: it’s creamy, smoky, and easy to wear. It’s versatile and sophisticated; this Loewe makes me feel different. The projection and longevity are modest, around 5 or 6 hours, a bit weak, but I have no regrets; it’s a great choice.

Recently acquired. Old format, black bottle but with the small 7. It’s not the oldest format. Batch 2019-01-09. I believe it was reformulated in this format… very skin-scented. Smells of incense and leather… perfect for cold climates. I paid little due to a promotion, but in my opinion… if I had to pay the regular store price… it’s not worth it.

Loewe has the best incense I’ve heard on the market, and in this, their darkest and most winterly flanker, they maximise it with that pepper blend. Nothing intrusive and very cosy; one of my winter favourites.

Hello everyone! I have the previous bottle version and it’s a real powerhouse! It’s not an easy scent, but tremendously spectacular. WATCH OUT for the sprays! It can become very overwhelming if you overdo it. Should I recommend it? An emphatic yes! But testing beforehand is fundamental. Best regards, community.

This smells VERY good. Much better than the original Loewe 7. I clearly sense the clove and it seems to have good potency. Perhaps it’s one of Loewe’s best alongside Solo Mercurio. I sense a vibe similar to Azzaro Pour Homme, but more potent.
