I was absolutely blown away by this perfume-inspired family; nearly all of them are hits. I grabbed a couple to try and Lost in Santal has won me over. It’s interesting because, despite its resemblance to the original, it’s a complex and special scent in a body mist. The longevity is short (around three hours), but what lasts smells fantastic, so I keep a mini refill in my bag. It’s the most accessible way to smell good every day; it doesn’t have that cheap body mist finish and feels much closer to a real perfume. Scent 9/10, projection 8/10, longevity 7/10.
I picked this up today and, although it’s marketed as a women’s fragrance, I find it leans towards unisex with a stronger masculine edge. What really works for me are those creamy woods, leather, and a super resinous balsamic touch. Compared to Santal 33, I’d give it 90% or more. It’s an absolute bargain: paying very little yet smelling like luxury perfume. The longevity is spot on, lasting around four hours on the skin and all day on my shirt.
