I have mixed feelings about this scent. It is nice, yes, but for all the hype I definitely expected something more… special. It’s just another body spray (and one that’s far too expensive).
Very similar to Cacharel’s Yes I Am.
Absolutely delicious, I passed it on to try the turtle below.
Sorry, but what a fiasco. It smells nice, but it’s meh; it’s not worth the hype, especially not at this price 🙁 Good thing you can test it at Sephora before buying.
It transports you to the beach with the first mist, with notes of pistachio, coconut, pineapple daiquiri and caramelised rum, perfect for summer.
It’s pretty and smells like pistachio ice cream. It reminds me a bit of VS’s Amber Romance.
Not bad, but not a must-have. You can detect the vanilla, pistachio and salted caramel, but the smell is very synthetic; it would suit a 13-year-old better. It has no staying power on the skin, though it lingers slightly on clothes. The body cream is truly an event, brilliant, but the mist is not.
Smells good, fresh, sweet and clean, but the problem is it’s too light, doesn’t project and has poor longevity. That said, the scent itself is exquisite.
Way too expensive for the rubbish it smells like. I tried to force myself to like it because of the hype, but it didn’t work for me or my girlfriend. I don’t know how people say it’s delicious; I definitely can’t get the vibe.
What a wonderful body splash. It’s a delight with a super almond opening; the pistachio, vanilla, caramel, and the salt that gives it a summery touch are very noticeable. Ideal for those who love sweet scents and want something fresh for summer. It’s an improved version of Jeanne Arthes’ Macaron Amande because it lasts longer and projects better. It’s not cheap and resembles accessible perfumes, but it’s worth it for the quality and how it feels.
It smells like Moonlight Whisper by Zara, just a bit sweeter. All the Sol de Janeiro scents smell good, but they’re dispensable and overused.
Total hype and nothing of what they promise. I bought the travel kit version and, out of all the Sol de Janeiro scents I’ve tried, this is the one I liked the least. It doesn’t last, doesn’t project… I don’t understand why it’s recommended so highly as something unique. Give it a try yourselves, but start with the smallest size.
I smelled it in Sephora and it smells very sweet, too much caramelised; in my opinion, the vanilla isn’t very noticeable. If you’re looking for something less expensive, try VS’s Pistachio Crème: it’s less caramelised and smells more like pistachio and vanilla ice cream.
The blend of notes doesn’t smell bad, but it feels synthetic. There are better fragrances for that price, and besides, the scent doesn’t last long.
Pistachio with a touch of vanilla and a very subtle jasmine; I don’t notice the rest. It’s sweet but not cloying, very soft. I love pistachio in perfumes, but I won’t buy it again: the longevity is minimal, it has no sillage or projection. Cheirosa 71 has more presence and lasts longer. Very expensive for what it offers.
Although it’s expensive for what it offers, since I’ve had it I can’t stop smelling it every day; I always want to wear it. I’m really keen to find fragrances with similar notes and try combinations. I adore its pistachio scent, and although the almond is less noticeable, I can still detect it. I’m completely in love.
Amidst the body mists, Sol de Janeiro 62 does well in longevity and is an easy scent to wear. It doesn’t seek complications: basically pistachio and salted caramel, which become more noticeable over time. For a rich summer scent, it’s perfect. I haven’t tried the creams, but I imagine they last longer on skin. As a mist, it’s good and affordable; far from being vulgar, it’s a tasty and fun scent for the heat. For me, 8/10.
I love it. I’ve smelled the cream and they’re almost identical; to me, it smells of salted caramel, a touch of sunny coconut (which is odd that it’s not there), almond, and pistachio. It smells like the sweetest sunscreen in the world, it smells like summer. It’s 100% beachy and I adore it.
In order: vanilla, caramel, pistachio, and almond. I want to eat it, haha, very tasty. It’s true that it’s a well-known fragrance on the street, but you can’t deny it’s very delicious and I enjoy using it every day. I admit the price is high for what it is.
It’s not to my taste; it smells of overly strong, cloying candied food. Yet somehow it doesn’t feel truly sweet because it also has a salty note. Of all the scents I’ve tried, this is the worst. I can’t understand how it became so famous, but I definitely wouldn’t wear it myself due to how intense and cloying it is.
The moment you apply it, straight to almonds: nothing else. It’s absolutely delicious and addictive, though it’s not really my style. A simple, linear scent with no pretensions.
It’s not bad, though some days it feels too sweet. The longevity is very short.
It smells excessively like dulce de leche or cajeta. It’s quite overpowering.
It smells lovely, though it’s far too expensive to be merely a mist. As expected, the longevity is poor.
I’m definitely buying this because I love having a fragrance that smells like a summer choni. I have no idea what the current winter choni scent is; the one from the early 2000s smelled like Halloween.
Delicious 😋 Smells of caramel; it doesn’t last long, but by the end of the day it works well. It’s a body mist, though a bit pricey for what it is. 😕 I use it for layering, just like all my body mists.
To me, it smells more of hazelnut with caramel than almond. It’s a fragrance almost everyone likes, but it doesn’t last. In summer, I used to carry the little bottle in my bag to reapply throughout the day, and my friends loved it too. I won’t repurchase because ultimately it’s just expensive water, but I enjoyed it while I had it.
I absolutely love the scent! The pistachio note combined with the salty caramel base is fascinating. It’s a pity it doesn’t last very long, but I mainly wear it in summer at the beach or in paradise-like places. It blends well with sweat and doesn’t change. It’s super delicious.
It’s very pricey for what it is: a very sweet pistachio and caramel scent, but it doesn’t last at all. The opening didn’t suit me much; it dries down better.
This has been a staple in my bag: good scent, decent-sized bottle, lightweight, a cap that closes well, and an original scent that is always liked. It’s a summer scent spectacle, but wearable all year. Fabulous longevity for a body mist, and that’s why it should be cheaper. I recommend it without doubt.
Girls, this smells of pistachio, fresh with a hint of caramel. The dry down is spectacular, very clean. The first time I wore it, after a few hours I couldn’t stop smelling myself and thought… how good this smells in here… but then I realised it was me.
One of the best body mists I’ve tried. Sweet but not cloying. The notes that stand out most are the pistachio and sea salt caramel; the combination is perfect for summer, although it can be worn all year. I recommend it 100%. I’m already halfway through my first bottle and will buy another; it’s my daily fragrance and worth the price.
Delicious and warm. A super gourmand caramel but not childish; honestly, I was surprised. I love it and would repurchase. It doesn’t seem summery despite being a body splash, how rich! When you step out, the pistachio is noticeable, then the toasted caramel takes over. Lasts 4 hours, perhaps reaching 6; I should test it more. I want the others!!
Puff, perhaps I hate caramelised gourmands. I prefer sweet, floral, and fruity scents. I found it cloying due to the caramel, but it’s a mature, serious caramel, something for a strong-woman who is sweet. It’s not unpleasant, but it’s a strong, hard, and aggressive scent for a nose like mine, which loves coconut, red fruits, marshmallows, and cotton candy 🫰.
It’s my favourite body mist. At first, it smells like cheap body spray or Victoria’s Secret, but the dry-down is delicious. I barely smell the pistachio or caramel (better for me); the dry-down is a rich, powdery vanilla, nothing childish, and lasts on clothes until washed. It’s like the smell of home.
One of my favourite Sol de Janeiro scents. Upon spraying, I smell warm, cosy pistachio; as it dries, the vanilla and caramel take centre stage. It’s one of the few that doesn’t smell like alcohol at first and lasts incredibly long. In autumn 2024, I stored clothes with it, and when I opened them in autumn 2025, they still smelled faintly of it. I will definitely keep buying it for autumn, not summer as others say. 💗💗
Call me crazy, but I think this is the worst of all the Sol de Janeiro scents. It doesn’t attract me (it doesn’t smell bad), but I feel like smelling sunflower oil with caramel. It smells like cheap perfume. I’m sorry to say this, because I love the brand and this is their most popular fragrance 😟. There are better options. Definitely not unpleasant, but not for me. If I buy it some day, it will only be to complete the collection; perhaps with daily use I’ll like it more. For now, my rating is 5.5/10 😅.
I’m sorry, I just can’t stand it. It’s incredibly hyped by influencers, but to me, it smells like artificial air freshener. It’s extremely expensive for what it is; any supermarket body mist gives it a thousand to one.
I read the reviews and thought it was a failure, but upon trying it, it disappointed me. It’s not something to buy blindly; you must test it on your skin. I had high expectations that weren’t met.
I first met this in 2023 thanks to a colleague; with her caramel skin and energy, it suits her perfectly. I also love it for summer days in the city or by the coast, ideal for an evening out or as a post-gym splash. I own the cream and even a dupe of Flor de Mayo that smells identical. It’s sweet, warm, and seductive, perfect for open spaces or festivals. Definitely made to attract attention 😏. It lasts until the next day after dancing until exhaustion; clothes get permanently impregnated with it. I don’t wear it indoors or in winter because it gives me a headache and is overwhelming; it’s a scent that needs heat and sun. With it, I feel cheerful and ready for new adventures. I wore it to work and made a mistake; it suits her fabulously, it’s just a matter of taste. I also have the light pink splash and Cheirosa 68, which are more my style.
