  • To be honest, the plum note isn’t really my thing, however in this fragrance I tolerate it with the other notes. It’s quite coquettish, feminine and even a bit greedy; one could say it reflects the purple colour associated with wild blackberry gums. That sweetness is actually concentrated preserved plum which seems cheerful to wear day or night, youthful. It’s not an outstanding or fine aroma, but it is fun. Good price-to-sillage ratio and moderate longevity. It highlights the plum-vanilla and orchid.

I want to smell like this forever; it whets my appetite, it’s my perfect scent. I wish it were a perfume and lasted longer. It says above that it’s similar to Vanilla Woods, and I regret that it’s not available in Chile; for now, I’m going to buy a million of this cologne and mix it with my favourite perfumes. The vanilla is exquisite, I’m using it in the middle of summer and it suits me perfectly.

  • Of the Sol de Janeiro mists, this is the most delicious; I love it, however, I feel unfortunately it’s the one that lasts the least, it didn’t last even 5 minutes.

I love it. It’s a fragrance that would go brilliantly with Narciso Rodriguez’s Musc Noir. The Sol de Janeiro scents initially leave you wondering how they will evolve because they come on strong, then they become delicate on the skin. I adore Cheirosa 40; it’s ideal for spring and has that vanilla touch without being too sweet. Along with the 68, they are my favourites. With the cream from the same range, you’re guaranteed to smell it for over 8 hours. I recommend it to vanilla lovers who want something not too heavy, special and suitable for everyday wear.

  • I’m fascinated by it; it smells exquisite <3<3. For me, it's the best of Sol de Janeiro. I can't quite describe it well, but I really feel the vanilla. At first, the trail is big, then it softens... It's so feminine and rich, yum. However, it has a problem: it lasts far too short. I know it's a mist and doesn't last like a perfume, but I have others that last seven hours. Besides, it's a bit pricey for a mist u.u I'd love if they made an EDP of this fragrance, just like they did with the 62. I would definitely buy the perfume.

  • I’ve never been a fan of plum, but here I absolutely love it. That vanilla-sweetness is a real shock to the system, and I’ll be repurchasing. People say it smells like a Barbie straight out of the box, that plasticky vanilla scent… it’s similar, though not the dominant note. Of the Cheirosa line, I own three (40, 62, and 71); I adore all three, but this is the one that lasts the least. It’s a very pleasant scent and nothing invasive.

  • I’ve never been a fan of the plum note, but in this body mist, I absolutely adore it. That sweetness with vanilla, wow! I like it very much and will repurchase. Once I heard it smells like taking a Barbie out of its box, that slightly plastic and vanilla scent… it’s similar but that’s not what predominates. Of the Cheirosa line, I own three (40, 62 and 71) and I love them all, although this is the one that lasts the least. However, it’s a very pleasant and non-intrusive scent.

I tried it in-store and loved it. Many say it doesn’t last, but I tested several and this was the one that lasted the longest with the best projection; I could smell it all day. If you’re looking for something similar, buy the Mood Vanilla by Ariana Grande; it smells exactly the same.

  • I can smell the alcohol in all the Sol de Janeiro products, and this was no exception. You can detect the plum, but it gets lost amongst all that alcohol.

Tastes delicious, sweet and vanilla, but the price is absolutely mad for a splash. The plum and vanilla are very noticeable; it’s wonderful and sweet, but the longevity doesn’t justify the cost. Honestly, at that price point, it should last longer. My favourite is the 68, which lasted quite a while on my skin and clothes.

  • chloesanchez

I mainly use it on my hair and sometimes combine it with Miss Dior for that fresh, sweet, and vanilla note. As for longevity… it depends where you apply it; as a perfume, it’s not what you’re looking for, lasting only 2-3 hours without reapplication. I use it on my hair and when my boyfriend sees me, he compliments the scent. Also the price: here in Spain, 100ml costs 30 euros. In conclusion, with Sol de Janeiro, you either hate them or love them; I always say the same: don’t buy them blindly.

  • I love it! Sweet but without giving you a headache. Unfortunately, it lasts the breath of a sigh.

  • I love it, sweet but not to the point of giving you a headache. Unfortunately, it lasts a mere breath.

I’d never tried it before but was delighted 🤩. It smells super clean, ideal for hot days when I just want to smell fresh without being overwhelmed. You can detect the plum and jasmine, then the vanilla emerges, creating a delicious blend. It reminds me of freshly laundered clothes.

Too sweet for me, even though I love gourmands. I perceive it as spilled syrup in a corner where heat and humidity prevent it from drying, attracting ants 🤮. My mum says it smells like little candies. It seems like a super-intense version of Ariana Grande’s Sweet Like Candy, but my nose doesn’t like it. The good thing is I bought the mini set, so I don’t feel I’ve spent too much. I’ll be giving it away.

Too sweet for me, even though I love gourmands. I perceive it as a stream of syrup that fell into a corner, and the heat and humidity prevent it from drying, attracting all the ants in the world 🤮. My mum says it smells like sweets, haha. And yes, I found it! It made me think it’s like a super-intense version of Sweet Like Candy by Ariana Grande, but unfortunately, my nose doesn’t like it. The good thing is I bought the mini set, so I don’t feel like I’ve spent much. I’ll be gifting it. 👍

  • I bought it without knowing how it smelled, having heard good reviews, and since I bought it last year, I’ve only used it once or twice. Perhaps the bottle I have is faulty, but to me, it only smells of an elderly lady and olives.

  • I knew it reminded me of something, and it’s Boum Vainille Sa pomme d’amour, which I owned and hated xD (they gifted me the 30ml box of Cheirosa and I like all of them, especially the 68′ Fine Fine, except this one). If you don’t like Boum Sa Pomme, I doubt you’ll like this either (although Boum is stronger and more artificial). I’ll be giving it away ^^

It’s the only Sol de Janeiro I own and it smells wonderful; the scent is fresh but you can detect the alcohol, though it’s acceptable.

  • At first, it smells of pure hibiscus! Then it settles and becomes pleasant, but I can’t stop thinking about that initial hibiscus note… and yes, it’s very alcoholic, with an average splash longevity.

  • Michiburrito

I love it without any doubt. At first, it smells of alcohol, but then it softens; it’s sweet and vanilla-scented, though sometimes it’s a bit cloying. It reminds me of Ariana Grande’s Mod Vanilla but with more plum, and together they smell incredible. It lasts two and a half hours on me, but my mother found it lasted much longer. It’s not my favourite Sol de Janeiro scent, but it is a very nice one.
