Sol de Janeiro was born in 2015 as a body care brand inspired by Brazil. Its name alludes to the January sun, and its first products were linked to everyday life in Rio de Janeiro. From the start, the offer combined body care, fragrances and hair products, rather than being limited to perfume.
The Cheirosa collection brings together body and hair mists and is the core of its fragrance catalogue. Cheirosa 62 was one of the first widely distributed references; today it coexists with Cheirosa 68 and other versions of the same family. The brand sells the fragrances as products that can be reapplied during the day and accompany its body creams.
