It smells very much of almond, with that being the main opening, very potent and sometimes overwhelming. As it dries down, it becomes a wonder. People compare it to the 62 mist from Sol de Janeiro, and honestly, I find it even richer. It’s very potent and projects a lot; don’t overdo the sprays, or you could kill someone if you’re in a shared enclosed space. It lasts comfortably around 10 hours on skin, and on clothes, I don’t even need to mention it. Overall, I like it very much; I’m currently using it to layer with other tropical/fruity fragrances featuring notes like coconut, pear, or apple. But in autumn and winter, I’ll wear it on its own.
It could be perfect for layering, but worn on its own, it reminds me of a men’s fragrance. I can’t find the pistachio note, neither in the opening nor the dry down, or anywhere else. The vanilla and caramel are completely absent. To me, it smells like a packet of almonds. My husband agrees with me; he says he wouldn’t even wear it himself.
I’d been waiting months for this little perfume to arrive in Chile, and finally it has. I was intrigued by the claim that it resembles Cheirosa 62 and bought it for that reason: I was looking for something with body mist vibes but with the longevity of a proper fragrance. I simply have to say I love it! It’s very creamy, sweet, and warm; exquisite to me. I detect a similarity to Sol de Janeiro but with a stronger almond note. I just need to test the longevity and sillage properly, but based on what I’ve enjoyed so far, I’m delighted.
It’s the same as the 62 by Sol de Janeiro, I have both and this is the 62 but better, with more longevity, trail and projection. It smells a lot of pistachio with almond and salted caramel.
I don’t know if it’s because of the bottle colour, but it smells to me like what we know here in Mexico as chocoreta. The almond and caramel feel good in combination, accentuated by the vanilla base, but still it doesn’t feel like a gourmand, because this combo is cemented and well defined by the heart flowers. Associated to the feminine by the aroma profile, but if you’re a man don’t sit shy using it.

Minya has a light opening of fairly natural almonds mixed with a very unnatural, much sweeter pistachio. Unfortunately, the almond opening doesn’t last long, but the pistachio remains until the end. A few minutes later, the flowers appear with a fresh touch that takes some of the sweetness out of that pistachio. The base finishes with creamy pistachio (perhaps due to the vanilla, sandalwood, or both). It projects very little; by an hour it’s skin scent, and by three or four hours it has disappeared.

Unfortunately the almond opening lasts little, the pistachio remains until the end of the perfume’s life; a few minutes after applying it the flowers appear with a quite fresh touch that takes away a bit of sweetness from that pistachio. The dry down ends with creamy pistachio (perhaps due to the vanilla, the sandalwood or both). It projects very little, by the hour it’s already close to the skin and by three or four hours it’s disappeared.
According to what I had read, Minya is basically the perfume version of the famous Sol de Janeiro mist… and yes, it is. But watch out: it’s not for using in summer as you would with the mist. The first hit is pure alcohol, so strong it almost makes you sneeze in stereo. On a 35 °C or more day, you run the risk of suffocating yourself… and everyone around you. It’s a heavy perfume, and that even though I left it to ‘mellow’ for a month before trying it again. I see it more for autumn, winter or spring. In summer, better to spare that impact to people (and your respiratory tract) 😅. When it settles, the almond aroma takes the lead, and the truth is it’s very rich… but be careful: a couple of sprays are enough. More, and you could go from ‘delicious fragrance’ to ‘portable chemical weapon’.
I think it’s a very pretty perfume, but I wouldn’t pay much for it. Comparing it with other Arabic perfumes, I find the quality isn’t as good. First, the opening is very alcoholic and stays that way for a good while. Second, it doesn’t last much more than 2 hours. But everything in between I like. Someone compared it to a packet of salted almonds and I agree quite a bit, only that I like it. I mainly smell almonds, salt and a very sweet vanilla. I don’t find the floral aspect. It’s fun, casual, young, gourmand, but with some quality issues. It’s very similar to the Cher Mix pistachio, which must be another dupe of the Cheirosa 62.
This perfume is excessively similar to the first Yara, the light pink one. If I had known I wouldn’t have bought it. It’s delicious, but it’s redundant having both.

It’s a rich and sweet gourmand, in my opinion some very creamy nuts. I was scared of the pistachio note, as it’s the first one in my collection of that note, but it didn’t displease me. I bought it after months of having acquired the Cocolush, and between the two, the Cocolush still pleases me more. The opening smells totally like Capri de Almendra (those from Chile will understand), but after 10-20 minutes the strong almond lowers its potency and wraps the creaminess. I don’t notice any floral notes from those declared. The trail is medium for 1 to 2 hours, longevity on my skin with much 6 hours, and from 2 or 3 hours it’s good close to the skin. I don’t find it annoying to not use it in summer, but definitely it’s not a fresh aroma for a hot day. In short, I see it for any time of year and I don’t know if I’ll replenish it once it runs out.

The opening smells totally like Capri almond (those of you from Chile will understand), but after 10-20 minutes the strong almond lowers its potency and wraps around the creaminess. I don’t detect any of the declared floral notes. The trail is moderate, lasting 1 to 2 hours, with longevity on my skin of about 6 hours, and from 2 or 3 hours onwards it sits well as a skin scent. I don’t find it annoying enough to avoid using it in summer, but definitely it’s not a fresh aroma for a hot day. I see it as suitable for any time of year and I’m not sure if I’ll reorder once it runs out.
It’s a cologne, because nowadays everything is called perfume, it’s more of an Eau de Toilette. It smells good but lasts nothing at all, and that’s why it’s not that economical; cheap comes expensive in this case. However, I have others from Paris Corner like Taasken Caramel which is well worth it.
At first I couldn’t smell anything, it seemed like a soft scented cream, and I left it forgotten. Every now and then I’d try it and on my summer afternoons, which are freezing, one day I decided to use it because I found it delicious, with a creamy nutty aroma. I decided to layer it with a Maison Alhambra Coco Vanille perfume, which is also soft, and I must say I was amazed. It worked on my skin and I received compliments, something I didn’t expect. It has mellowed or, put another way, its oxidation has returned it with good performance: about 6 hours of longevity, moderate projection for about 2 hours. Now I use it with pleasure, it’s very good for layering, on my skin it feels very creamy with that pistachio aroma and a sweet touch, nothing cloying. At least it’s my experience with my pH, in fact I’ll buy a back up.
It’s Cheirosa 62 by Sol de Janeiro but in perfume format. I bought it because I had the mist and felt sorry that it lasted so short a time, and it was recommended to me. It’s practically the same, with slight differences: Minya is a bit fresher and you can detect a green touch and a hint of spice in the dry down. The 62 is more decadent and warm but lasts nothing. Minya does have a brutal longevity, especially on clothes. I love wearing it outdoors because when the wind picks up, the fragrance lifts, dilutes and reveals some delicious notes. It’s hard to explain, try it with the wind and you’ll see. Given how cheap it is, it’s worth it. If you’re looking for a dupe of the 62 that lasts longer, look no further, this is it. It’s wearable, more for something casual, doing the shopping, a relaxed plan or going to the beach. Literally it’s Cheirosa 62 but a bit fresher and more potent.
