Smells wonderful; it’s like a Minya but fresher, fruitier, more complex, and better composed. It lasts about six hours on skin with modest projection, yet it holds up well. People say it’s a mix of Devotion and Sol de Janeiro 62, but I see it leaning more towards Sol de Janeiro/Minya without the nutty notes (almond, pistachio) taking centre stage. Although not listed, I detect them very subtly. The dry down is exquisite, where the lemon, amber, and coconut really shine. I prefer it to the original Sol de Janeiro, though they’re about 60-70% similar. It’s not a dupe of anything, but a beautiful blend of several scents, which I adore. Highly recommended.
Extremely lovely and special, difficult to define as it smells like several perfumes blended together. For me, it’s the perfect union between Devotion and Sol de Janeiro. A wonderful discovery with good longevity for all-year-round wear.
Very lovely, but on my skin it lasts only 30 minutes and has no projection whatsoever.
Reminiscent of Sol de Janeiro’s Cheirosa 62 but less caramel-heavy. The projection and longevity are top-notch: 10 hours on skin and certainly longer on clothes. Note that the opening is intense with a potent ambergris that dominates at first; let it mature a couple of times and you’ll see a more balanced blend. It’s sweet without being over the top, more refined and less sugary than the original. The ambergris carries the show from the opening through to the dry down, with soft touches of coconut and caramel that don’t overpower. It doesn’t smell like Baccarat Rouge; it has its own personality. If you’re looking for prominent ambergris and moderate tropical sweetness, this is an excellent dupe.
