I can’t believe it! They actually stock this perfume!! I absolutely love it; my mum used to buy it for me when I was little, and it brings back so many childhood memories. I found it at a chemist during one of my recent trips and bought it without a second thought.
I can’t believe it! They actually stock this perfume!! I absolutely love it; my mum used to buy it for me when I was little, and it brings back so many childhood memories. During one of my recent trips, I found it in a perfumery and, without hesitation, I bought it.
I’m so envious to own a bottle of Oilily! I thought it was a real treasure. As Mariana says, it launched in 1989 with the help of 50 fans aged between six and sixteen. It was a huge success and, although it has been relaunched several times with different names, the scent remains exactly the same. In Spain, it’s rare to see girls wearing this perfume or to find shops selling it; perhaps they no longer manufacture it. Here, the climate means that youthful perfumes tend to be lighter and more Mediterranean. Oilily is cheerful yet more intense, which makes sense given its Dutch origins. The first time I tried it, I was slightly disappointed, even finding it a bit cloying, but I got over it. Nowadays, with so many sweet perfumes available, I think it fits perfectly for very young girls. It’s even suitable for creative women who love colourful clothes and comfortable, childlike-style shoes. I adore it, although sometimes I use Don Algodón, which is more serious, as it no longer matches my style.
