  • It’s a lethal fragrance, honestly one of the best I’ve smelled for men: sexy, hot, seductive, and special. Undoubtedly inspired by Hermès’ Bel Ami, but with outstanding quality. Citric opening, but soon spices emerge; the leather is a hit, a smell of cinnamon and spicy leather with many nuances and a spectacular performance. The price is high, but what price do you put on an Aston Martin?

This is my favourite Puredistance perfume and one of my favourites in general. A bomb of spicy and sweet leather! Under that leather, a resinous and balsamic base starring labdanum and maybe myrrh? amber?… The vetiver and moss give it a high creaminess. It’s very similar to Valentino Uomo Intense, but with the subtle floral touch of the EDP version of Givenchy’s Gentleman. That said, with much better quality. The performance is brutal, among the best tested: hours and hours of duration with continuous presence. Unisex, though with a masculine point. For night and cold climates. Scent: 10, Longevity: 9, Projection: 8.5, Value for money: 6, Versatility: 6, Originality: 8, Global: 10.

  • I haven’t smelled it yet, but I don’t doubt it will be incredible, of high quality and good presentation. But by God, paying $190 for 17.5 ml? IS IT A JOKE? O_O Oh right… it’s by Roja Dove. It seems funny to me that there are people who find it ‘MODERATE PRICE’ now that you can classify value by price.

  • James Bond? 🤵🏻 Puredistance M is by Roja, who later launched ‘Fetish’ with great similarity. M is inspired by the leather seats of 007’s Aston Martin. It opens with potent citrus that quickly gives way to dirty, smoky, and vanilla/ambery leather. Spices like cinnamon and another that seems like cloves (unofficial, very marked) accompany it, making it basically dirty clove leather, smoky, and very spicy over a light sweet base. You notice vetiver if you pay attention. Good performance, 100% masculine, although a woman with a strong character and a taste for potent and dirty scents could use it. Very elegant for formal evening events. I got into the Aston Martin and it doesn’t smell like the seats, but like expensive leather; the perfume smells expensive. The quality surpasses Fetish and enters my top 3 of leathers alongside Roja’s Great Britain. The price is high, but calling it ridiculous or a psychological joke is a distorted vision. The raw materials are top-notch and you pay for exclusivity. The 17.5 ml presentation lasts a long time, no need for more. Sadly discontinued, a pity. Fantastic ✨

@Dr No, I don’t usually get into debates, but I’ll tell you sincerely: what is uncomfortable is not the price, but that somewhat inelegant and pseudo-superior attitude that becomes unhealthy, losing irony to fall into misplaced snobbery and classism. Here sensations and emotions are shared, it doesn’t matter the size of the wallet. Surely this M will be the eighth wonder that makes you travel to another dimension just by smelling it, but in my humble case, I’ll stay sniffing vintage great leathers like Fahrenheit, Fendi, Tussardi Uomo, and Phileas. These are indeed works of art. Greetings.

Respect to Roja Dove, this is incomparable aged leather, like buying extra-aged Jack Daniel’s at half price. If you’re hunting for that dirty, sweaty, Russian leather, there are formidable options around $100, or better yet, buy a used vintage leather jacket that already has body scent (half-joke, but true). Among Gucci Guilty Absolute, the old Bel Ami by Hermès, or even the reformulated Polo Green, you’ll find animalic and dirty leathers that sometimes surprise young girls into liking them. If you come from vintage leather, the pine and dry tobacco notes of this perfume work, but if you have to save for spirits, repair jackets, and pay debts, few leathers so old and cheap as Avon’s Leather Cologne for $10 or $15 will convince you.

  • I’m a leather fanatic, but not in this style. I would expect the 007 Aston Martin not to smell so dirty. Instead of the immaculate interior of a DB9, it reminds me of a Crown Victoria taxi from the 90s in NY where the driver hadn’t showered and the leather seats were abused, dusty, and with a penetrating sweat smell that I recall with disgust. Puredistance M transports me there. I respect those who like it, but I believe there are better alternatives and spending $200 to smell like old sweaty skin and the rest is not for the crazy.
