  • An extremely economical perfume, almost monotonous because the lavender is always noticeable, but it’s a correct and clean scent, ideal for walking or casual outings with friends. It’s undervalued by many, but the female nose appreciates it greatly.

  • A common, generic, fresh, and very citrusy fragrance for me. The fixative and longevity are medium-low, but it’s economical and recommended for daily use. Its price-to-quality ratio is acceptable.

Just ran out today. I’ve been using the same bottle from 2008 until 29th July 2018, almost every day for work or casual outings. On special occasions, I use more expensive and elaborate fragrances, but for everything else, nothing beats Samba for Men. If I used it all the time, it might last less than ten years, but surely several months or years. It smells super clean due to the lavender, fresh with freesia and ylang-ylang, and even a bit romantic at night. It’s inoffensive, clean, cheerful, and floral, yet masculine thanks to the lavender and cedar. The trail is moderate for three hours, then skin-scent for seven or eight hours. Easy to carry; the conical bottle fits anywhere, ideal for uni. It doesn’t bother anyone. It’s economical; here in Puerto Rico it costs between $10 and $15. 6th December 2018 edition: I bought a new one, the atomiser was modified and the fragrance reformulated. Still, I highly recommend it if you want to smell good without breaking the bank. It doesn’t project metres away, but you can still feel it, and those around you will like it. Of the whole line, this stands out the most. I am Samba. I woke up today, had a shower, and before putting on my shirt, boom! I doused myself in Samba perfume. Wepa!

What a classic! The best of the budget options. Even though it’s been reformulated, it remains perfect as a daily signature scent, a total hit in the heat. My school perfume; it smells clean, fresh, and sexy, and women absolutely love it. What memories! It was more potent before, now it’s moderate. The version with the black atomiser was the good one; the silvered one is still decent but less intense. I’d recommend it a thousand times! Best regards.
