Descripción

O Oui! by Lancôme is an aquatic floral fragrance for women. Launched in 1999, the nose behind this composition is Harry Fremont. The top notes reveal water hyacinth, vodka, bergamot, clementine, nectarine, mandarin and petit grain. The floral heart unfolds white flowers, green apple, lily of the valley, freesia, pear, honeysuckle, pineapple and rose. The base settles on water lily, musk, cedar, woody notes and amber.

  • 🙂 It’s delicious; I was gifted it when I was in primary school, and it was my treasured possession.

  • To me, it’s a great flanker for Ô. Fresh, soft, and feminine, blending juicy citrus with a sweet touch and floral woody notes. It’s light, with moderate projection, and perfect for daytime wear, especially in tropical climates or from spring to autumn. When it launched, it stood out among the ‘aquatics’. If you wear it on holiday or in warm cities near the water (which is what makes you think when you smell it), it works brilliantly. People will almost certainly say you smell good. As Shiseido would say, it’s what Hugo Boss tried to do with Jour Pour Femme but failed to achieve, haha.

  • I first smelled it at 17 and was instantly hooked, begging my parents to buy it for me, but they refused since I already owned Anais Anais. Years later, my mum gifted me the 5th Avenue (using it as an excuse), and to be honest, I hated it: it was so dull. I’ll give it another sniff, but at 30, I don’t think it will suit me anymore. 🙁

  • I discovered it in a gift box of Lancôme miniatures. It’s beautiful; I fell in love at first sight, and eventually, I bought the little bottle myself… what a shame it’s now discontinued. It was fresh, sparkling, and cheerful. Simply adorable.

  • I met it in a gift from a Lancôme miniature box. Beautiful; I fell in love at once, and over time I bought the small bottle… what a pity it’s discontinued; it was fresh, sparkling and cheerful. Adorable.

  • The worst perfume I’ve ever smelled. Despite loving perfumes, they gave me this as a gift and it’s impossible to wear. It smells like a wardrobe with old clothes. What a disappointment; I’ll have to give this Lancôme away. I’m so sorry I don’t like it; I put it on my wrist and have to wash it off; I can’t stand it.

  • It’s the perfect perfume for those hot August days!!! It opens fabulously and you can appreciate its beauty,,,, but in winter it disappears.

  • When they applied it, I felt an explosion of fresh roses, but now I see what I identified as roses is actually water hyacinth. It’s a fresh, floral, aquatic perfume. I’ve loved it.

  • To be honest, a letdown. I love the brand, always good quality, especially in trail and longevity. This perfume is terrible; nice, but it lasts less than a splash of Victoria’s Secret. NEVER AGAIN.

    I adore this perfume; they had discontinued it but I found it in a chemist somewhere, now in a simple square bottle without the details of the previous one. I love it for summer, very fresh, floral and citrusy. I agree it doesn’t last long enough for its price.

    Without a doubt one of my favourite perfumes; unfortunately, it hasn’t been in stores in Uruguay for some time. It would be a shame if they discontinued it. It’s an iconic fragrance from the 2000s; smelling it teleports me back to my teenage years; I’d love to get it again when I’m 30 to see if it still suits me.

  • I bought this after seeing the ad with Marie Gillain jumping off a cliff holding hands with a handsome guy; I even liked the song: ‘Everything’s gonna be alright…’ I’m usually scared of summer perfumes with too many notes, but this is very well balanced. Hyacinth, a cocktail of pear vodka with citrus, apple, amber, cedar, lots of musk, and an indistinct flower. It’s a Lancôme; if you like the house, this sweet yet green aquatic summer scent won’t disappoint. I preferred the old, typical Ô de Lancôme bottle because I wouldn’t have kept it :-{

  • For those in Argentina, there is a dupe for this perfume: it’s number three from Prune. It’s identical.

  • The best memories with this perfume. On my skin, the citrus notes shine bright at first, while cedar dominates the heart and base. I don’t find it aquatic or unsuitable for temperatures over 40 degrees. It’s elegant without being arrogant, and it etches itself into the olfactory memory of anyone who smells it, thanks to the wood that makes it unique. Ideal for everything: from New Year’s Eve dinners to coffee with a friend. It’s a pity I only have a small amount left, and I knew Lancôme had discontinued it years ago. These perfumes should never die, for the good of humanity.
