Descripción

La Vie Est Belle Vanille Nude by Lancôme is an oriental floral fragrance for women. This creation, launched in 2025, was designed by Anne Flipo and Dominique Ropion. Its olfactive pyramid begins with solar top notes and jasmine; the heart reveals warm bourbon vanilla; and the base settles on white musk and sandalwood.

  • This is like having leftovers in the fridge but charging you a Michelin-starred plate for it. The indirect way of calling someone an idiot in the face 🤣🤣 They don’t even bother anymore.

  • I don’t own any LVEBs because I don’t like them, but this one has absolutely won me over. It’s nothing like the previous ones. I tested it in the morning in-store, smelled it all day, showered, and I can still detect it! It will surely join my collection.

  • I’m sorry to say this, but it’s the truth and they need to be put in their place. This perfume is a PM🦄 BS. Why? Zara is the queen of the best vanillas. First, you have to be up to scratch, and this vanilla isn’t just found elsewhere, it’s crafted many times better at Zara for popular prices. Anyone who has tried many fragrances and is honest will recognise this.

  • If you’re looking for something off the beaten track, try the leather one (I’m not sure if it’s the Elixir). Everything from Lancôme smells like an adult woman, but this Nude smells like an elderly person, and I hate being pigeonholed by age; my goodness, what an unbearable perfume.

  • Looking at the notes, I didn’t expect anything from this flanker, and having smelled it, I can affirm it’s completely dispensable. It’s just another vanilla floral that has appeared recently. For my nose and taste, this fragrance is a huge MEHHHHH. To complete the picture, the projection is practically non-existent… next.

Who said it smells like an older woman? Don’t be fooled by the opening; later it leaves a sweet scent, not a potent vanilla but a very pleasant sweetness. A perfume to smell on oneself and enjoy. Very pleasant.

  • I tested it a few days ago and it’s a very pretty, feminine and elegant vanilla, but nothing you can’t find elsewhere. In my case, I might get it, but if within the time I decide to buy, I find another vanilla that seems more or less the same, I’m likely to stick with that other one.

  • What vanilla did it remind me of? The one in Scandal Intense. Perhaps the solar note leans towards yellow flowers, which is why it reminds me of it. It could also be that the vanilla is blended with almonds or tonka bean, because it is literally a warm and enveloping vanilla. I sense a slight hint of the LVEB DNA in the base. With these two (Vanille Nude and Scandal Intense), it gives me the impression of a cheap perfume, as if I’ve smelled it in another fragrance, which could have been from any low-cost or catalogue brand. It’s nothing new, but it would be a safe purchase if you like cloying solar vanillas.

  • I tried it a few days ago and it’s a very beautiful, feminine and elegant vanilla, but nothing you can’t find elsewhere. In my case, I might get it, but if within the time I decide I find another similar vanilla, I’m likely to stick with that one instead.

  • I don’t understand all the negative reviews. I smelled it on a Tuesday at the counter and bought it by Saturday. It’s incredible how it smells. I love very sweet scents, with vanilla, even cloying ones. Curiously, the original didn’t suit me, but this new flanker is brilliant. I’ve read that you can find the scent elsewhere more cheaply, but honestly, I don’t know where. Vanilla is typical and found everywhere, but an exact match you won’t find. I can’t quite describe it well; it smells sensual, vanilla and feminine.

  • I expected something else; perhaps it’s my skin, but I detected only iris, super powdery 😞, and it didn’t last at all.

  • A beautiful flanker with a very present DNA from the original, especially regarding the iris, but not the patchouli. At first, it reminded me of the creaminess of the discontinued L’Eau de Parfum Intense, but later it evolved much more into a solar, creamy scent, with a combo of sandalwood and musk, especially the latter which is very prominent. It seems quite intimate in terms of projection but lasts well, clinging to the skin, but very well. It would be immature to say it’s not worth it just because it’s a skin scent; definitely this flanker has class and doesn’t need to shout to be appreciated by a discerning audience. If you’re looking for an option that respects the original iris essence but is subtler, vanilla, musky, without patchouli… this should work very well for you. What needs to be clear is that it’s not a fragrance you could bottle under another line; it feels very much like a La Vie Est Belle but more personal. If I get creative, I feel it’s a perfume for a sensual woman you’d want to get closer to and know more about, who doesn’t need to be loud with her scent (the first LVEB wouldn’t work here because it’s too much, I don’t know if I’m explaining myself). I hope my opinion helps and you’re inspired to try it on your skin to reach your own conclusions.

It’s a very talcum-powdered vanilla, that’s the point. If you like vanilla and musk, it’s your perfume. Personally, I don’t think it’s worth the price; it’s a meh perfume.

  • The opening is lovely, but then the lipstick note becomes apparent. It’s not strong; it simply smells of lipstick.

  • I tried it in a perfumery because the bottle caught my eye; it’s gorgeous. I loved it! It’s a ‘clean’ vanilla, probably due to the musk and sandalwood. It has that characteristic DNA and that designer perfume scent, with a wearable touch of vanilla for all occasions. It’s a fragrance I plan to add to my collection soon.

  • Ugh, I loved it from the first impression and several tests; it smells so lovely, delicate, tender, feminine and elegant 💗. It smells of coconut and something sweet, very delicate; looking at the notes, it has jasmine and vanilla, and I love those notes together, plus solar notes which I suppose make it a more complex aroma (perhaps they are perceived as sun creams, perfect for summer). I think all its notes combined make a very special perfume ✨. I would have it in my collection if I had to ❤️ and I think it has moderate sillage, like its flankers Iris Absolu and Intensement. 10/10 on its aroma 🥰. I’d say the longevity is quite moderate, similar to the flankers I mentioned, as I feel it fades quickly, but it’s one of those aromas meant for personal enjoyment, not to overwhelm others. I also feel it might be similar to the Zenith from Lancôme’s O line, the yellow one; I like that one too, it smells of coconut and is very lovely for hot climates, a sweet but non-bothersome and delicate scent.

What a beautiful flanker! I own several LVEB fragrances, and this is one of my favourites, alongside Soleil Cristal. It’s incredibly vanilla yet soft, powdery and clean, thanks to the musk which gives it a refined facet. The solar accord adds warmth, making it a super cosy version. I adore it for these early autumn days; it’s very comfortable.

  • Jaionemaite3

This flanker has a bad reputation, but personally, from the very first time I smelled it on a sample, I loved it; it has everything I need for my daily work life in the hospital. It seems like a delicious, elegant, sweet vanilla with a soft coconut base 😍😍, I wear it and don’t bother anyone. When I want to be a bit more wild, I wear it with a touch of Piano Santal and it goes crazy ❤❤❤.

  • Andrea perfumona

Very nice. It’s nothing like the original; it doesn’t seem to be from the same line, it reminded me of Cheirosa ’59 by Sol de Janeiro.

  • These soulless perfumes make me very sad. I received a sample and tried not to be prejudiced since it’s a flanker of one of the world’s most popular perfumes, BUT, I just can’t help it. I’m sorry. And I’m sorry to the fans, because I don’t want to offend, and I understand that tastes are varied, personal and respectable. BUT, it’s so generic, so ‘perfumey’… Twenty years ago, when perfumery was queen, knight and king, and you had to make do with what was available at El Corte Inglés, this would have had an excuse. But if you understand perfumery as an art, as a means of personal expression, and not as a simple means to an end (smelling good), there’s nothing to compare here. They put a formula into a churro-making machine (and money), churn out fifty tedious designer perfumes, the nth flanker with a French handkerchief-style atomiser, and live for two days. With so many beautiful and original perfumes, houses and independent brands within our reach, falling for this… well, no.

I loved it 😍, perfect for evening wear. For a romantic date or an elegant, modern activity, for a party, it makes me feel exquisite, desired, sexy, yet also a pretty, delicate grown-up girl; I’d say it’s a perfume to feel like a princess. Sweet, delicate and sexy all at once. It reminds me of La Nuit Tresor Nude but with a different touch; it also reminded me of Dior’s Poison Girl EDP upon its launch, although they don’t share the same notes; on its release, due to the vanilla touch, but in my opinion much better, less invasive, with that jasmine floral touch that makes Vie Est Belle more delicate without overwhelming anyone. It’s a more delicate vanilla, more bearable without ceasing to be sweet, and not as overwhelming as Poison Girl by Dior for me. And with that musk that makes it feel like a lovely powder. The truth is, I love it. It doesn’t follow the same line as its main counterpart or the flankers. This one is more different. If you didn’t like any of its previous versions but you like sweets, this one will suit you or even enchant you as it did me.

  • It’s identical to La Nuit Tresor Nude 🤷♀️ without the coconut note; if you have one, you absolutely don’t need the other. In short, nothing we haven’t heard before, and for the price, I feel it’s not worth it.

  • I adore vanillas, but this one… I received a sample and had to throw it away. I’m not sure if it’s due to the Vie Est Belle DNA or the musk, but it gives me nausea. I was expecting a vanilla like Kayali or the Eshal Vanilla from Paris Corner.

How it smells… it’s in my top 3. Sharing the spot with Givenchy Interdit Rouge and Chanel Coco EDP (fragrances that have nothing to do with each other). This smells like a pretty girl, a clean girl. I’m bored of vanilla, but this is the most beautiful one I’ve ever smelled. It doesn’t quite reach gourmand status (if I compare it to DG Devotion Intense or Lattafa Eclaire); it’s such a lovely vanilla that I drool when I wear it. Very creamy, I wish it lasted longer on the skin. The projection is average.

In the midst of the invasion of cloying, cheesy vanilla-musk blends we’re currently suffering through, this LVEB flanker proposal ends up being just another one… though, of course, at a Lancôme price. It has nothing to highlight, absolutely nothing. It’s a resounding mediocrity not worth commenting on further. My advice: if you like sweet and slightly powdery perfumes, head to more affordable brands; they all have their version of these fragrances that smell like summer and a McDonald’s sundae (that’s the advantage of trends). The price they ask for this LVEB Vanille Nude borders on a rip-off.

  • Is it pretty? Yes. Did it blow my mind? Absolutely not. But I understand why it might appeal: it’s soft, clean, feminine and sweet without being cloying or risky, so it doesn’t bother anyone. The intensity is gentle. It reminds me of Vie Est Belle but toned down significantly. For daily wear, I think it looks very nice. Would I buy it? Not at the moment, as I already have many perfumes and it hasn’t won me over. However, if it were a gift, I’d use it willingly. In fact, as a present, it’s almost a sure hit. The bottle is gorgeous.

  • This perfume is sweet and perfect for a pretty girl; without a doubt, people often ask me about and compliment any LVEB. That is why I love Lancôme fragments so much; however, with this one, I feel it goes more unnoticed and it’s something that doesn’t quite fit for me. Another thing I love about these perfumes is the mood they change you with just the feeling of how rich they are in aroma. It’s perfect for everyday wear as you’ll be felt but you won’t overwhelm anyone.

  • Supernova1.1

There are many vanillas; we recently got the Mont Blanc Signature, and this Lancôme version has arrived. The vanilla is raspy and dry, not in a bad way, just different. The bottle is a beauty in rose gold tones, sparkles, and nude.

  • Perfumadict

It’s like the Coco Vanille by Mancera but more musky and ambered. Very intense and sweet, though it does get nose-tiring. 100% for winter and autumn. This line lasts and projects a lot, and this is no exception. It’s not particularly youthful, perhaps more suitable for over 35s. It dries down increasingly dry and musky after three hours.

  • marianaaimeeev

It’s incredible; it’s the improved version of the original LVEB. It has a vanilla scent and the sandalwood gives it more presence. The longevity is incredible; it’s a new perfume with a classic essence, and I’ve really enjoyed it.

  • As for me, I don’t like the LVEB, but this one has won me over. It’s sweet yet clean, very pretty and intense. Perhaps compared to its siblings it might seem weak, but as a clean fragrance, it lasts and projects quite well. I’ve seen many YouTube videos criticising it for being simple, but sometimes simplicity is where elegance lies. I’ve loved it, but I wouldn’t recommend it for warm weather.

  • I absolutely love it! I adore vanilla and this perfume has a beautiful vanilla note. It lasts superbly, just as we’ve come to expect from LVEB.

  • I’m a bit lost. Everyone loves it, saying it lasts long and smells divine, but it has disappointed me. The scent is lovely, yet so subtle it’s hard to detect. I’ve worn it generously for almost a month and still can’t quite get a handle on it because it’s so soft; that creamy, musky vanilla fades within an hour. Zero compliments, no one around me has said anything, so I understand the projection is poor. For a La Vie Est Belle, it has let me down.

  • The original LVEB just doesn’t work for me, although I do like several of its derivatives. Here, the DNA of the original is too prominent and it simply doesn’t appeal to me.
