At first, the pink pepper and bergamot dominate, without being as citrusy as others. As it dries, it turns fruity and sweet over a soft lavender, until it smells like Christmas cookies; several people have told me I smell like cookies with this. It lasts about 6 hours on my skin and clothes until I wash them. If I boost the vanilla with the Bare Vanilla, it becomes too gourmand. It’s such a tasty vanilla—nothing sophisticated but perfect. For the price, the longevity is incredible; it’s my favourite from the Sisterland line. Ideal for blind buying or gifting to a fan of sweet scents. It’s creamy, sexy and super feminine. Love you so much, Golden Vanilla.

It opens a bit chaotically with bergamot and pink pepper that sting the face, before the neroli and pear fade away. The heart is a white floral with caramel and vanilla, while the lavender base cuts through the sweetness so it isn’t cloying. Once it dries down, it’s gorgeous, discreet and super intimate for daytime or the office. On my skin it lasts 6 hours; I expected more for an EDP (I have the Pink Raspberry which lasts 8 hours and is my favourite). It mixes brilliantly with other fragrances, making them warmer.

A woody vanilla, sweet and very soft, I liked it but I want to be honest, the fragrance is so ephemeral that I almost couldn’t distinguish the other notes; I had to ask for another application to distinguish some shy flowers that perhaps peek out, maybe the rose; the lavender was completely absent, and the sweetness perhaps comes from the pear and caramel. As it dries down only that rich vanilla with sandalwood remains, but unfortunately on my skin it almost didn’t last.

I didn’t like it at all. I thought it was just my opinion that it smelled like car air freshener, but I let two people smell it and they said: ‘Is that supposed to be a perfume?’

I remember making a good review of the blue doll a few years ago and I still stand by it. A pity what has happened to this line, both the yellow and this one. It’s true they were never considered the best perfumes on the market, but for their price they were quite decent; especially the green and the blue. This one, particularly, is a sticky, synthetic vanilla syrup. Without grace or charm, and that’s a shame because I usually wear many vanillas and don’t hate them for being sweet, but this is synthetic, plastic, ordinary and outrageously loud. It doesn’t smell of absolute vanilla or a dessert, but tried to be vanilla and only managed to become a sticky, unbearable syrup of sugary stuff that you don’t quite know what in the world it is in the end.

Very rich! Ideal for cooler climates. I can feel the vanilla and lavender super well, it’s like a second skin. It has good longevity on me, but it’s more for personal enjoyment.

I own Burberry Goddess and can testify that this is very similar at first, however, as it dries down only the vanilla note remains, but an extremely sweet and cloying vanilla. I didn’t love it, but for the price it’s a good option if you like very sweet perfumes.

  • Of all the Sisterland, this is the one that lasts best on my skin, with 6 hours, which is great because it’s a super-accessible perfume, I suppose because it was the first to be an EDP. It’s super sweet, vanilla-heavy and the lavender is very noticeable. Ideal for autumn-winter, and I’d even use it day and night. It resembles Burberry Goddess quite a bit, but the big difference is that the Goddess is more spiced, I suppose due to the ginger, and more intense because it has three types of vanilla, which this isn’t; it’s a sweeter, calmer vanilla. I think it’s a lovely option for those who want something vanilla and sweet without spending extra on something expensive.

  • Of all the Sisterland scents, this has the best longevity on my skin, about 6 hours, which is brilliant because it’s a super accessible perfume, I suppose because it’s the first EDP in the line. It’s super sweet, vanilla-heavy and you can smell the lavender a lot. Ideal for autumn-winter days; I’d wear it both day and night. It’s quite similar to the Burberry Goddess, but with the big difference that the Goddess is a spicier vanilla, due to the ginger, and more intense because it has three types of vanilla, which this perfume isn’t so much. It’s a sweeter, calmer vanilla. It seems like a lovely option for those who want a vanilla, sweet perfume without spending too much on something more expensive.

  • It’s… how to put it? Too simplistic. It smells like a children’s fragrance you might find in a discount catalogue. For the same price (around $43 in my country), you could buy a Zara perfume; although it’s not an olfactory marvel, at least it would have a slightly more interesting composition and the same longevity. As a fan of Burberry Goddess, it seems almost an insult to compare it with this or call it its ‘budget version’. A real pity about Benetton; neither in clothing nor perfumes did they hit the mark.

  • Bought it blind and it turned out well. I read it was pure, simple vanilla, and that’s exactly what I was looking for for the coming cold weather. It doesn’t seem too sweet to me (perhaps because I come from Scandal and Black Opium), but rather correct and perfect for everyday wear. The lavender is a breeze, delicate and subtle, accompanying discreetly, which I absolutely loved. For me, tired of complex and mega-sweet vanillas, this little sister is what I needed. Longevity matches the price, just like my Green Jasmine: two or three hours, although my skin is notoriously reluctant to hold fragrances. I wouldn’t use it in heat due to its composition, but it is versatile. I really liked it; it’s youthful, simple and effective.

This adorable doll has one of the most original bottles I’ve seen and an incredible price. Being an EDP, it’s one of the ones that left the most trail and longevity (8 hours) on me, receiving many compliments. It’s a mega gourmand fragrance, a vanilla with caramel worthy of a very cloying and sweet dessert. Watch out with the sprays. I don’t see any resemblance to Burberry Goddess; for me, the Burberry is clean, elegant lavender and vanilla of a classy woman, whereas this Sisterland is a mega-sweet vanilla for a more youthful woman. The sweetness was so much that I gifted it to a friend, who also has beastly trail. As I said, it’s not a bad fragrance, but for me it’s too cloying.

  • Well, after testing it in-store, I bought it straight away. It opens fruity, fresh and bright, then settles into a sweet, super-elegant vanilla with lavender. People say it smells like Burberry Goddess, but I don’t believe it; perhaps the lavender and vanilla give it a similar vibe as it dries down, but they aren’t the same. A 10 out of 10 for the price, brilliant. Plus, it’s the only EDP from all the Sisterland range, and honestly, what a relief.

It’s such a tasty vanilla. Nothing sophisticated but perfect. For the price, the longevity is incredible; it’s my favourite from the Sisterland line. Super ideal for blind buying or gifting to someone who is a fan of sweet perfumes. It’s creamy, tasty, a bit sexy and super feminine. Love you so much, Golden Vanilla.

Such a palatable vanilla. Nothing sophisticated but perfect; for the price, its longevity is incredible. My favourite from the Sisterland line. Super ideal to buy blind or gift to a fan of sweet perfumes ♥ Creamy, palatable, a bit sexy and super feminine! Love you so much, Golden Vanilla ♥

A fragrance with all three Bs. I tried it casually because I didn’t like the notes of its siblings, but here the opposite happened. At first, I didn’t like it at all, thinking I didn’t like it because of the pepper invasion, but as it dried down, the vanilla and caramel fixed everything. If you’re looking for a soft, feminine and non-cloying vanilla, it’s a great option. You can smell a bit of lavender. It’s the only one of its siblings that is an EDP and lasts 6 hours on my skin. It’s super versatile and delicate; I’d wear it in all seasons. I don’t love it for the sparkling opening or the trail, but I’d buy it again because it’s affordable and it’s brilliant for everyday wear. Rating: 8/10. Trail: 6/10. Longevity: 6 hours. Price: 1400 UYU (35 USD).

A fragrance with the three Bs. I tried it purely by chance because none of its siblings appealed to me. Not because I dislike the notes, but because I simply didn’t like how they were formulated. But with this, everything was the opposite. I still have to admit that straight from the bottle, I didn’t like it at all; I even thought I wouldn’t like it. A peppery scent invaded me, and it took a few minutes to settle before the vanilla came through. But once it dried down, I loved it too much. If you’re looking for a soft, feminine vanilla that is by no means cloying, this is a very good option. I also detect a bit of lavender and caramel. It’s worth noting that among its siblings, this is the only one that is an EDP. On my skin, which has a good pH for vanilla fragrances, it lasts 6 hours. As for the season, despite being a vanilla fragrance, I find it super versatile as it is very soft and delicate. I would use it in all seasons. I wouldn’t say I love it just for the spark of its opening and because it doesn’t have much sillage. Still, I would buy it again because it’s very economical and perfect for daily wear 🥰 Overall rating: 8/10 Sillage: 6/10 Longevity: 6hrs Price: 35 USD ($1400 Uruguayan Pesos)

I love this perfume; it smells like a vanilla caramel with a subtle touch of lavender (which isn’t very detectable as the other two notes are more predominant, but still, the lavender adds freshness and prevents it from being cloying). Its longevity is the best among the sister scents, lasting 8-9 hours with moderate sillage and 10-11 hours with very low sillage. Projection is moderate. It’s truly very good, and I was surprised because the other sister scents have smells that aren’t ugly, just very common, like Pink Raspberry.

  • Buy blind, what a great surprise, smells divine 😍, caramelised vanilla with lavender, excellent price and the bottle is very pretty. I wish it lasted longer; it reminded me of Angham by Lattafa.

  • This little doll is a proper sweet dream. It lifts your spirits. Very sweet and creamy. Ideal for rainy days like today in Buenos Aires. It has vibes of Juliette Has A Gun Vanilla.

  • piedadoriele

A wonderful vanilla with lavender, fresh and sweet at the same time. A total success. I’d buy it blind a thousand times.

Wonderful vanilla with lavender, fresh and sweet at the same time. A hit. I’d buy it blind a thousand times.

  • I love it, very delicious. The opening didn’t suit me much, but once it dried down, the creamy vanilla was at its best. It doesn’t last very long, but for the price, it’s fine.

  • 100% linear. A super pastel, gourmand vanilla. And that’s all. It clings to the skin, soft, but lasted longer than I expected. I’m getting tired of this type of scent, but if I were more of a teenager, I would have loved it.
