  1. I wanted Idole EDP, but I took Néctar on offer and it was the right choice. Clean, simple, and delicious notes: the best of rose with a touch of caramel. It lasts a long time and the trail is noticeable, so it delivers. Perhaps the price is high for a designer fragrance, but the quality justifies the purchase. I’m already eyeing Peach ‘N Roses; I heard about it and it sounds divine!

  2. What a beautiful perfume! Just smelling it from the bottle lifts my mood. So feminine, delicate, and cheerful, with gorgeous roses suitable for all ages. Highly recommended.

  3. A lovely perfume with roses and caramel. It doesn’t last long on me and the trail is moderate. It’s not complex; certainly no one will dislike it, but it’s not a powerhouse either. Perhaps it doesn’t evolve as others say, but I like it and that’s enough. The price is steep, but the quality of the notes is excellent.

Perfect: sweetened roses with caramel. Beautiful, elegant, versatile, and long-lasting. What a great job on this flanker! Better than the original or any other in the line. If you love roses, this Si or Si must be in your collection.

  5. It was a Christmas present for my mother, but it smells of death. On her, the caramel and popcorn notes stand out strongly, matching the rose perfectly.

  6. Extremely beautiful perfume. Idôle EDP and this are the ones I’ve liked most from the entire line.

The sweetest roses there are; I’d say they’re like iced roses. I don’t detect much of the popcorn note. It’s a very lovely fragrance with good longevity and trail. Like all Lancôme, I enjoy it in any season except summer due to the sweetness of the caramel. If you’re a fan of rose and sweetness, this is yours.

  8. For me, fresh but sweet roses, bathed in caramel. I still don’t sense that popcorn touch, but the longevity has been the best. I wore it to work and the trail was noticeable every time I moved; after showering, the scent lingered in my hair the next day. Of all the Idoles, this has become one of my favourites.

  9. Just rose, rose, and more rose. The popcorn note is completely absent. If you already have the Lancôme OG, you definitely don’t need this; in fact, the OG is prettier.

  10. Sweet floral smelling like glory 🌸❤️, with all the class of Lancôme. At first it’s pure caramel and popcorn 😍. I own the EDP and a sample of Nectar which I adore, because that opening captivates me. That popcorn and caramel sweetness is addictive; I haven’t tried it on clothes yet, but on skin it softens slightly into a gentler floral. Still, it remains sweet. I love all the Idoles ❤️.

Roses and more roses… if you like roses, this is for you. It’s classic, elegant yet everyday, ideal for the office as it settles down after a few hours and isn’t as heavy as when first applied. It’s multifaceted and suits any season.

  12. This perfume is addictive; the popcorn note is exquisite. My favourite is Idôle EDP, but I think it’s tied with this one. The only downside is that it’s not very versatile; I wouldn’t wear it in summer, but it’s fine for the rest of the year. The trail and longevity are moderate.

  13. I detect no vanilla whatsoever. It smells sweet, floral and lovely, but to me, who isn’t a fan of florals, I see nothing to justify the price. The trail, however, seemed very good.

  14. This perfume is divine. Although there are more complex or exclusive options, this has been my favourite for years. Its perfection lies in its simplicity. At first there’s a dance of very soft, delicate and clean roses, but over time they bathe in a warm caramel without being cloying. It’s the masterful formula combining floral femininity with a playful gourmand touch, without headaches from explicit culinary notes. It lasts hours, isn’t a beast, stays intimate and linear. I use it daily all year except during the 2/3 hottest months.

  15. I’m so glad perfumes like this exist, because so many try to make a rose the star but end up feeling synthetic or irritating. This achieves it perfectly: a very marked and pleasant rose, nothing artificial. Although I prefer Nectar to Now, as comparing them, I love its caramel base more than the orchid note, which doesn’t quite convince me.

This fragrance is one of my favourites from the Idol line. It feels sweet but not cloying, vanilla-scented yet not annoying. I wear it in autumn and winter, though it also works well in spring and summer. I detect notes of caramel, roses and vanilla. In the end, on skin, it settles as a sweet little vanilla thanks to the caramel.

  17. The best rose, caramel and vanilla blend ever created. It’s my first time using it (I bought it blind, and besides, I’m not usually a fan of rose scents) because I was swayed by Fragrantica reviews and I wasn’t wrong. Now I smell of vanilla caramel with Turkish rose essence, like a slightly naive girl with a rebellious edge. It lasts hours on skin and on clothes you can’t even imagine. Idole Nectar is an emphatic yes.

It was a delight to take time to appreciate. I tried it in store and loved it, but when it arrived I felt disappointed as it felt sharp. After a few days, I ‘needed’ to re-apply it and ended up tiring of that sharp note (a slightly brash rose). Anyway, months passed, it macerated and now I love it again; I want the original EDP to alternate. It’s a wonderful collection and, personally, I’m not bothered that many people use it: it’s not invasive, it’s versatile, adapts to styles and ages, and everyone gives it their own touch (I’m talking about Nectar and the original).

What more can I say about this perfume? It smells sophisticated, clean, rich and has good longevity.

  20. Hello everyone! ❤ To be honest, I love almost all of Lancôme’s Idôle range, but this one is TOO rich, absolutely addictive! 🌹💐 However… it doesn’t last long enough; by the next day, I smell it more on my clothes than on my skin. Sometimes I barely put it on, others can smell it, but I can’t detect it myself, and it fades quickly. I’m sure it’s down to my pH, because every review I read is fantastic! 💗🌹💐❤🩷💞

  21. A beautiful perfume, so delicate, luxurious and elegant. It smells like roses wrapped in caramel and honey, sweet with a powdery touch. This flanker is the one that most resembles the original, but it’s better because it lasts longer, projects a bit more, and I even feel it smells more original thanks to the caramel and popcorn notes. It doesn’t leave much of a trail, but it’s ideal for the office or enclosed spaces without overwhelming anyone. Perfect for a mid-season scent. Out of all the Idôle fragrances, this is my favourite in terms of both aroma and packaging.

  22. Delicious; at first, it smells of popcorn, then caramelised roses. Truly addictive! It lasted on my skin for about 6 to 8 hours.

  23. Spectacular. I am not the biggest fan of roses, but the sweetness of the perfume balances them perfectly. Ultra-feminine and elegant.

  24. Idôle Nectar is a marvel. It is the best flanker in the Idôle range, the only one that, for me, surpasses the original. I have loved Idôle since it launched, and the Nectar version has improved what I thought was perfect. Sweet without being childish, long-lasting without being heavy, and elegant without being fussy. It compliments me daily. Please don’t discontinue it; I fear the day it is discontinued and I can’t even think about it.

This perfume is a gem; I have loved it so much. It is sweet with a rich rose, and yes, you can taste the caramel popcorn, it’s superb. My boyfriend went wild for this scent, and people have complimented me a lot ☺️

  26. The best flanker in the Idôle range, and I am absolutely in love with this opinion. To be serious, perhaps it is not objectively the best, but for me, it is. In life, you have two choices: follow society or be happy, and I choose to be happy. It is the best flanker in the Idôle range. It was love at first sniff. Generally, we associate roses with perfumes for older women, but NO; here they are extremely youthful and juicy roses. It is penetrating but not heavy; penetratingly juicy. The caramel and vanilla accompany the roses exquisitely, giving them sweetness and youthfulness. The popcorn… sometimes appears, sometimes not, but it doesn’t bother me. Just like its sibling Idôle Aura, it is suitable for all year round except heavy summer days. It lasts forever on clothes. Well-balanced and well-feminine. I feel that this and Aura are twin sisters, but Aura is saltier and more feminine, while this is extremely sweet and more… rebellious. A fragrance that if they discontinue it, I will go to the Lancôme offices to do something drastic. If she goes, I go too.

  27. I tested it on blotter paper and on my skin, and it gave the same result. At first, it is very pleasant caramel popcorn with a strong, dry, generic base that I couldn’t describe but now I know are roses. I don’t like florals much, but I decided to give it a chance and ended up smelling like detergent, at least for me. I should try it again.

  28. My 25 ml bottle is nearly finished, and I want the 100 ml version. It is super sweet and potent; it screams elegant woman. Despite the comments, I do not recommend it on hot days, and I don’t perceive fresh floral notes as I have read. You have to try it to avoid disappointment. The longevity is incredible; after 10 hours, I couldn’t detect it anymore, yet people have still asked me about it. This is a 10/10.
