Hello! I think I’m the first to review this perfume. I’ll try to be as clear as possible. I own many perfumes from different families but was looking for one that gave me personality, that was mine and not everyone’s, that stood out but not too much. I wanted it to smell fresh and clean, not tiring, suitable for hot days, elegant but not smelling of an older person. When I entered the perfumery, the sales assistant showed me this, a newcomer. At first, I said no because many people already owned the Idôle EDP, but she insisted. I tried it and liked it at first sniff, but it didn’t enchant me; I think it was the rose, which I sensed very quickly. It seemed like more of the same. But I decided to keep looking at perfumes, go shopping, and run errands; gradually, the scent reached me, I kept smelling it, and I fell in love. It settled very well on my skin. When I returned to the perfumery, the girl smelled it on my wrist and told me that indeed it was for me. Here lies the importance of observing a perfume’s evolution well. It was exactly what I was looking for! Now I can’t stop wearing it; it’s very me. It’s a perfume for twenty-year-old girls, coquettish and refined, who want to smell clean, much fresher and sparklier than the EDP but with the same trail and almost the same longevity. Green tea and bergamot give it freshness and that sparkly touch (I’d dare to say something aquatic). Then the little pink flowers add elegance and delicacy; in the final stages, it becomes sweeter, which helps it settle well. I imagine it on a young girl who takes care of herself, simple but naturally posh. It’s the cologne I’d use for everyday wear, like actress Leighton Meester or Andrea Duro; I imagine them with this perfume. I bought the 25ml bottle and don’t rule out buying the 100ml one. They’ve already praised it to me, incredibly. My favourite of all the Idôles and of the moment.

  • Love at first sniff: a clean, fresh, and youthful perfume. The rose note is prominent, but bergamot and green tea balance it out. Ideal for spring/summer.

  • A fresh, clean, citrusy aroma. It’s refreshing that Lancôme didn’t make this Idôle just another flanker, as it gave it its own personality. It’s also good that Lancôme’s roses don’t overwhelm the scent, as that can get boring, and that we haven’t been served another excessively sweet perfume until it becomes nauseating. Yes, it retains the Idôle DNA, but very distantly, where bergamot and green tea become the protagonists. It is still sweet, but these notes make it bearable. The scent and longevity have blown me away; I ended up loving it so much that the next time I go shopping, I’ll be heading straight for it. The dry-down on clothes the next day still smells as if freshly applied; it’s like walking into the perfume department of a department store. Sometimes it smells this way, and other times like a perfume I once adored but was discontinued: Quizás, Quizás, Quizás eau de toilette by Loewe. It’s a simple perfume to wear with good projection; had it not strayed so little from the Idôle DNA, it could have been a new and interesting proposal from Lancôme with a different name; a new line of citrus perfumes. It’s a pity that now they only seem to live for releasing flanker after flanker of flanker of LVEB, Trésor, or Idôle—even if, at least this time, it turned out well.

  • What an obsession with vanilla they seem to force into every perfume! Do they really all have to carry it? I was drawn in by the bergamot and green tea notes; I thought it might be similar to Ange ou Demon Le Secret, but no—the rose gives it a different twist. I haven’t tried the other flankers or the EDP, so I can’t compare. The opening is fresh, though not as citrusy as I hoped; the rose is fresh and elegant, but the dry-down… vanilla! On my skin, that note develops strongly in any fragrance containing it. I don’t dislike it, but it becomes tiresome and sometimes overwhelming. The trail isn’t very wide, but its longevity is excellent on skin and even better on clothes. I think it can be worn easily in any season, though I’m not sure how it fares in extreme climates.

This is my second favourite from the Idôle line. The first time I wore it, the green tea smell was very sharp, but I tried it again and I’ve loved it. Now I perceive the green tea, the rose, the musk and the vanilla. It has become a very wearable fragrance for everyday use, with moderate projection. I recommend it for use in the office or in enclosed spaces.

I bought this perfume blind two months ago. When I first tried it upon arrival, I liked it but it didn’t impress me. I set it aside thinking it was for hot days, and now that it’s full summer here, I’m using it as intended. As soon as you apply it, it smells like delicious green tea which, luckily, lasts almost all day. The roses are fresh, like freshly cut, with a sweet vanilla touch at the bottom that doesn’t saturate. I noticed it for six hours without issues and three people complimented me on the first day, although I didn’t feel it as strongly myself. I think many people will like it, as a 60-year-old man, a 40-year-old woman and a boy under 20 all told me so. I have the 25 ml bottle and when it runs out, I’ll repeat with a larger one.

  • I wanted to try this EDT, as the declared green and fresh notes attracted me. It has an exquisite feminine and clean aroma; quite similar to the Idôle EDP, but softer and equally charming. It’s jovial, luminous, and highly recommended for spring-summer. Upon application, the freshness of the bergamot and the verdancy of the tea are perceived immediately. Then the delicious fragrance of Damask rose and rose water appears, accompanied by a very subtle vanilla on the skin. Regarding its longevity and fixation, they seem quite high for an EDT containing citrus accords. I tend to apply quite a lot and perceive it for about 7-8 hours on skin, and it is also frequently appreciated by others. I agree with the previous comment; after the original Idôle, this is my second favourite, and I’ve acquired it in a 50ml format because it seems ideal to carry and refresh myself with this fragrance during everyday life. For me, it is undoubtedly a perfectly achieved EDT that manages to refresh and maintain the classic Idôle DNA.

  • I wanted to try this EDT for those green and fresh notes it promised. The result is a feminine and clean scent, very similar to Idôle EDP but softer and more charming. It’s jovial and luminous, ideal for spring and summer. Upon application, the bergamot and the greenness of the tea are noticed instantly, followed by damask rose and rose water with a very subtle vanilla touch on the skin. Longevity and fixation are high for a citrus EDT; with decent application, I notice it for 7-8 hours on skin and others notice it too. I agree with the previous reviewer: after the original, this is my second favourite. I bought the 50 ml because it’s perfect to carry and refresh myself during the day. Without a doubt, it’s a perfectly achieved EDT that refreshes and maintains the DNA of the classic.

I love it; it’s my favourite Lancôme perfume 🥺. Previously, I had tried the first Idôle that came out, La Vie Est Belle and La Nuit Tresor. All the previous ones are very feminine, rich, with great trail and presence. However, I never dared to buy any of them. I felt they were too sweet or potent for me… When I saw they had released the Idôle EDT, I wanted to give it a chance, and since I tried it at the counter, I haven’t stopped thinking about this perfume. The opening is citrusy, bergamot and roses instantly. You feel how the freshness of the perfume envelops you. It’s not sweet; it’s freshly cut roses in summer. Vanilla doesn’t invade the perfume on my skin; I feel the green tea note well-presented until the end with the lovely roses that Lancôme has; that’s the quality you look for in a perfume 🤍🍀. I understand it may not be to everyone’s taste; this perfume isn’t for everyone. If you like gourmand or very sweet perfumes, it might bore you. Personally, I think it’s very elegant and I’ll buy it to debut in summer to see how it goes! 🙌🌸😊

  • I love this fragrance; it’s super quirky. I’ve worn it for months and women love it, telling me it smells beautiful. Men, however, hate it, saying it smells like Flit and is too strong. I love it, but I don’t wear it when I’m out with my boyfriend.

I love it; it’s my favourite Lancôme 🥺. Before I tried the first Idole, La Vie Est Belle and La Nuit Tresor. They are all very feminine, delicious, with great trail and presence, but I never dared to buy any; I felt they were too sweet or potent for me. When I saw the Idole EDT I wanted to try it, and since I smelled it at the counter I haven’t stopped thinking about it. The opening is citrusy, bergamot and roses instantly; you feel how the freshness envelops you. It’s not sweet; it’s freshly cut roses in summer. The vanilla doesn’t invade; I feel the green tea very present until the end with those lovely Lancôme roses, that’s the quality you’re looking for 🤍🍀. I understand it may not be everyone’s taste; if you like gourmands or very sweet scents, it might seem boring to you. Personally, I think it’s very elegant and I’ll buy it to debut in summer to see how it goes! 🙌🍵

  • So far I’ve only loved the original Idole EDP; the others have become too intense for me. I wanted to give this a chance, tried it in the store on my wrist and on a blotter. The sensation is a green tea infusion with very prominent roses. It’s neither totally fresh nor totally sweet. The opening scent accompanies you all the time without much development (that was my experience). Comparing it to the blotter throughout the day, I noticed no variation. Regarding longevity, perhaps I’m very sensitive, but at six hours I could still smell it very intensely; the scent eventually caused me fatigue and was never pleasant, so I had to wash my wrist to stop feeling it. Definitely not for me, but if you like it, its longevity on skin will surprise you.

  • I like it even more than the original Idole. It smells delicious, like a tea infusion. Smelling it brings me joy, surely thanks to those sparkling top notes. You can tell the quality because the longevity is good, between 5 and 8 hours. Although I usually go for gourmand scents, this and the Idole are the exceptions I adore. The tea and bergamot envelop with an elegant freshness, ideal for feeling clean, radiant and special on any occasion.

  • Perfumes that last this long are rare. And watch out, it’s an EDT, yet on my skin it projects as if it were an extrait. The new Angel Nova Fruitee doesn’t even last half as long on me.

  • Perla Vencis

If you stayed away from Idole Eau Parfum because of those fruity African roses and patchouli, here both the vanilla and patchouli are barely a whisper. The key is that the roses take centre stage: imagine pink roses with white undertones. The scent is soft, subtle and discreet yet enveloping, perfect for feeling clean and perfumed. On my skin it lasts well, with a faint trail, which is exactly what I look for when I want something neat and understated.
