Have you worn Irrésistible Givenchy Eau de Toilette?

Tell us how it opens, how it settles on your skin, how long it lasts and when you wear it.

  1. Demelza

I absolutely adore this EDT: intense rose and musk, with the iris adding a powdery touch and the cedar rounding everything off. A zero-complicated scent, feminine, refined, and subtle yet present. It’s one of those good-taste perfumes. I also own All of Me by NR and they’re similar (though not identical) but follow the same path; sometimes I layer them and feel like a flawless, proper, well-educated princess. 👑🌹

It has a creamy concept, like hand cream, with a powdery touch reminiscent of Dior’s Joy. Performance is good, clearly perceptible for about 5 or 6 hours, settling and clinging to the skin. The opening has a unisex touch, but as it dries down, it’s clearly feminine, enveloping and cosy for any day. Ideal for an afternoon of reading, an evening walk, or coffee with friends. It doesn’t distract; it invites concentration. It’s an aura that makes you feel good, clean, and calm, especially due to that hand cream sensation. Timeless, not for teenagers, but suitable for any age.

  3. Pretty and proper girl. She does her tasks on time and gets straight A’s. One of the few powdery fragrances I like; I wore it every day for class and it’s already finished. I don’t think I’ll buy it again.

Irresistible EDT by Givenchy is floral, musky, and has a powdery touch. Upon opening, it smells like rose water with a hint of iris. Then the musk rises along with a touch of fruit, making it very fresh. Ideal for daytime: the office, school, or soft outings, especially in spring and summer. I think it’s perfect for daily use, almost like a signature scent if you want something pleasant but not too common. It suits from young girls to mature women. The longevity is moderate, around 6-7 hours, leaving a soft aromatic halo around you.

Givenchy Irresistible Eau de Toilette is floral, musky, and powdery. In the opening, the roses are noticeable instantly, like slightly powdery rose water due to the iris. Over time, a strong musk appears along with a fruity touch that adds freshness. It’s ideal for daily life: office, school, casual outings, especially in spring and summer. I think it’s perfect for daily use, even as a signature scent if you’re looking for something pleasant and not overused. Suitable from young women to mature ladies. Longevity is average, around 6 to 7 hours, leaving a light aromatic trail.

  6. A pretty, well-behaved girl. She does her homework on time and gets straight A’s. It’s one of the few powdery fragrances I like. I used it every day for school and it’s already finished. I probably won’t buy it again.

  7. Rich and feminine, perfect for gifting and guaranteed to hit the spot, I think it’s IRRESISTIBLE 😜

  8. Irresistible Eau de Toilette is fresh, subtle, and elegant. You can smell the rose water, slightly powdery, with a muted woody base. Personally, I prefer it over the Eau de Parfum, which has a rhubarb-like green accord that I usually don’t like. Here it’s soft and feminine: my ‘do not disturb’ scent, my fragrance for rest between spicy and sweet notes. I love it more the more I use it. Don’t be fooled by the longevity; the last time I wore it on a jacket that’s been in the wardrobe for a week, it was perfectly detectable. It leaves a moderate sillage, projecting distinction without being invasive. Who will like it: lovers of rose water.

  9. Roses are usually a ‘no, thanks’ for me, but I smelled this because the saleswoman gave it to me, and it was like smelling something celestial. Soapy and clean to the point of excess, but why did it make me feel electricity in my body? Since it’s roses and an EDT, my mind told me no, but it’s still on my thoughts; it smells glorious. I’m scared of making a mistake because there were four bottles of flankers that were practically identical.

I just bought an 80ml bottle blind. I love it from the start, ideal for this heat season that calls for fresh and light fragrances. The opening is fruity, as if there’s a pear note not listed. Soon the rose water appears, fresh and sparkling, like a freshly cut rose with dew, wet and cheerful. Perfect for those who work facing the public or don’t want to be bothered. It dries with clean musk and cedar that enhances the scent; the iris adds that powdery touch that softens the rose. Recommended even blind. Very versatile and wearable, perfect as a signature scent.

I just picked up an 80ml blind buy. At first, I really liked it for this season, as it’s already hot and fresh, light fragrances are a must. For me, the opening is fruity, as if it had a pear note not listed, but then that rose water appears, fresh and sparkling. It seems like a freshly cut rose, with dew, wet and cheerful. Perfect for those who work with the public or don’t want something too invasive. As it dries down, the clean musk and cedar wood give it body, while the iris adds a powdery touch that softens the rose. Recommended even as a blind buy. It’s very versatile and wearable, perfect as a signature scent.

I was gifted a sample. The opening reminds me a lot of Lancôme’s Idole, although pear isn’t listed; I feel a very fruity and light rose opening. In the dry-down, it’s identical to Adolfo Domínguez’s Gardenia Musk. Too much cedar when dried, very woody. I didn’t like it.

A BODY SPLASH… In general, I love Givenchy fragrances, but this is a total disappointment regarding longevity on the skin (it barely lasts longer on clothes). In the opening, you can smell the roses. There’s no fruit at all. As it dries down, the powdery and woody notes dominate.

Lovely! I own the EDP and it’s very striking, but this one has caught me too. It lasts quite a while and has good projection. Lots of rose and musk, quite fresh 🌹

A rich fragrance, but I don’t think it’s going to kill anyone. Smells clean, slightly aged; my brother said it smells like a girl’s perfume xD. I only detect it for the first two hours, then it disappears. I wouldn’t buy it again.

A BODY SPLASH… Generally, I love Givenchy fragrances, but this is a total disappointment in terms of skin longevity (barely better on clothes). In the opening, you notice the roses, nothing fruity. As it dries down, powdery and woody notes predominate.

Rich aroma, but I recommend not buying blind. It feels a bit heavy to wear, ideal for autumn and winter.

I love its sister EDP, but I detect this one very faintly, not even lasting three hours. I’m thoroughly disappointed; I expected something stronger and more potent (sometimes EDTs are), but this one isn’t. It came out very soft. A pity because it’s so beautiful. I recommend trying before buying 🙏😁

I absolutely loved it, as did its sister Eau Parfum, but this one feels fresher, I detect more rose, and it lasts a long time for an Eau Toilette. Plus, it has a nicer musk than the perfume.

  20. I don’t know the EDP, but I received this EDT in a sample and I loved it!!! I detect it as floral, soft, and without that powdery rose smell, but rather sweeter, just right, with a sharp touch I can’t quite describe. It evokes tenderness and spring. I see it as ideal for a teenager starting to explore adult perfumes, for twenties and thirties seeking tenderness, innocence, and joy, the opposite of a femme fatale scent, not so much for older women. What surprised me most was its performance: despite being an Eau Toilette, it held up very well on my skin even on a hot day. No doubt now I want to buy the bottle.

I’m in love with this unique aroma; I liked it more than the EDP and it lasts a long time. A fine, natural rose, with a citrus and mentholated touch, lots of pleasant and fine musk.

Irresistible Givenchy Eau de Toilette, it’s a very tender and sweet perfume. On my skin, it smells like a lovely creamy and powdery rose, though after two hours a minty scent appears alongside the rose. Yesterday I tried the EDP and by late afternoon I was saturated; that sweet pear ended up being a bit cloying for me; I’m not a fan of sweet perfumes so this is more my style. It has a magnificent trail for four hours without being overpowering. I see it as perfect for everyday wear, for a girl of 20 or 50. And for some reason, I love the bottle! 🙂

Fruity rose, light, youthful. It didn’t blow my mind, but it’s nice. Ideal for under 30s and teens, but that’s my opinion. Mostly for work in spring-summer. I doubt I’ll buy it again; I wasn’t impressed as I was with others from this house. Givenchy has launched superior products, though this isn’t bad.
