I have mixed feelings. Do you know that smell of creamy, rancid lipstick? That’s what it evokes for me, although I don’t dislike it.
Very powdery, too much for my taste. It sounds very far from Irresistible, which I adore. In this flanker, the roses are covered by a ‘layer of makeup’, lacking freshness. Smells like lipstick. It’s not bad, but I wouldn’t buy it.
Hello 🙂 At first, it smells like high-quality powder, then it changes, and the roses I adore become noticeable. I can’t describe it perfectly, but it captivated me 😍. I recommend trying it before buying blindly. I’m happy! 💕🎀
Hello 🙂 At first, it’s very powdery, with that smell of good-quality makeup… then it changes and I feel the roses 🌹 (which I love 💕). I can’t describe it well, I’m bad at it, but it captivated me 😍. I recommend trying it before; it’s not for blind buying. Me happy 😃! 💕🎀
My next purchase! I tried it yesterday at the perfumerie and it captivated me. Elegant and distinguished, ideal for those who feel uncomfortable with mainstream fragrances. It’s jovial and sparkling in a refined way, nothing of that beachy coconut or citrus freshness.
For lovers of sweet and powdery scents: it’s captivating. It defines delicacy, radiates youth and nostalgia, smelling of old makeup without seeming old. Almond and roses predominate. It’s fresh, with good sillage, without being cloying or heavy. I still don’t know if I’ll wear it daily, but I love it; I’ve been searching for something like this for a while.
I tried a sample and agree: it recalls lipsticks from years ago and my mum’s makeup. It’s very powdery; the roses, violets, and iris are noticeable. Over time, it becomes sweeter, reminding me of Paco Rabanne’s Lady Million. I don’t dislike it, but I wouldn’t buy it. It’s nice for going out, but it’s not my style.
For lovers of sweet and powdery scents: it is captivating, delicate, and evokes youth and nostalgia. It smells like vintage makeup but isn’t old or associated with an older person. Almond and rose dominate. It’s fresh, has good sillage, isn’t cloying or heavy. I still don’t know if it’s for daily wear, but I love it; I’d been searching for something like this for a while.
I received a sample and my only comment was: ‘smells like lipstick’. After seeing the other reviews, they all agree! It smells exactly like that, totally.
I tried a complimentary sample and confirmed it reminds me of lipsticks from years ago. It brought me back to my mother’s makeup. It’s powdery with roses and violets at the start, then becomes sweet (reminded me of Paco Rabanne’s Lady Million). I don’t dislike it, but I wouldn’t buy it. It’s nice for going out, just not my style.
At first, it smells like classic lipstick, but on my skin, half an hour later, the potency fades. It leaves a clean, powdery scent that isn’t sharp, but warm. It’s sweet, elegant, and very wearable. Lasts 6-7 hours with moderate projection. Very pretty.
I compared it to Donna by Valentino, but to my nose, they only resemble each other for the first five minutes. Afterwards, it lacks Donna’s base potency; this is kinder and softer, suitable for everyone. I adore the prominent iris without the rose overpowering it. The base makes it unique: it works for any weather, whereas Donna is autumnal/wintery. Very enjoyable.
Smells like divine lipstick, but it reminds me so much of Kenzo Indigo that I gave up and didn’t buy it.
Spraying it, I thought: ‘No, no, no!’ as it smelled like my mum’s 2000s lipstick, but within minutes it transformed into a floral scent. It reminded me a bit of my Idole Intense, then sweetened up, and once it dried down considerably, it bore a strong resemblance to Vie Est Belle. I’m neither sad nor happy; I expected more, but it doesn’t disgust me, so I’ll just use it =)
Upon spraying, it smelled like my mum’s old 2000s lipstick and I thought ‘No’. Within minutes it transformed into a floral, reminding me of Idole Intense, then becoming sweeter and drier, reminiscent of Vie Est Belle. I am neither sad nor happy; I expected more but it doesn’t disgust me. I will wear it anyway.
It smells like vintage lipstick, like the best burgundy-brown one I used, sticky and pigmented. I’m not sure when to wear it, as Guerlain’s Black already covers that role in my collection, but I am fascinated. Perhaps when the Black and the Nude run out, it will still be there; I will buy it then.
It is delicate due to the iris; the powdery notes are just right, not giving me headaches like others. You can sense its Irresistible DNA. I own all three and have no regrets. The Nude is strong, neither floral nor gourmand, warm and soothing. It makes me feel feminine, reminding me of my childhood with my aunt or older sisters. 10/10.
What a beautiful perfume. I bought it blindly and it smells as they say, like lipstick. Upon leaving, the almond oil is noticeable, followed by velvety flowers with that sensual ambrette musk. It’s evocative, feminine, like a soft, silky veil. It settles on the skin with divine naturalness. Great work by the perfumers. Hopefully, it doesn’t share the same dry-down as Lipstick On.
What a beautiful perfume. I bought it blind and it smells as they say: like lipstick. At the start, there are almond notes, then velvety flowers with a sensual musk. It is evocative, feminine, like a silky veil. Divine naturalness. Great work. Hopefully, it doesn’t meet the same fate as Lipstick On.
I received samples when buying Gentleman Society. Upon spraying, I was pleasantly surprised: a soft, feminine aroma, easy to imagine on a special someone.
I received it today because I love the iris and violet; they provide persistence and luxury. It is more powdery than Irresistible but shares the same vibe. Rose Velvet is different. I haven’t tested the performance yet.
The first thing I sensed was the smell of old makeup, like my grandmother’s drawer. Very creamy and powdery. You can detect the almond and rose. It has good longevity. Honestly, it smells outdated; it’s not for me.
At first, it smells strongly of makeup, then notes of iris and roses emerge. It is rich, but I see it more suited to ladies than younger people.
The first impression is the scent of old makeup, like my grandmother’s drawer. It smells creamy and talcum-powdery with almond and rose. It has good longevity, but it feels dated and isn’t for me.
On my skin, the almonds, roses and wood stand out. After 15 minutes it intensifies and smells of makeup, very feminine. I wear it on fresh days or in winter.
At first, it smells like expired old makeup, like a messy, dirty drawer. After 10 minutes, it becomes elegant and neat. But I would prefer other options a thousand times over without having to endure that opening note.
