  I tried the Eau de Toilette in-store and loved it, but it faded after just two hours. When the Eau de Parfum launched, I bought it blind and now it lasts around eight hours. It’s fantastic.

  It smells like a blend of Eric Rohmer films, Annie Ernaux books, and Françoise Hardy songs. It’s Paris: sitting on a terrace drinking café au lait with a strawberry jam toast, strolling through the Luxembourg Gardens, and visiting museums. It’s a rose picked from the balcony on a frosty morning, as if wearing a real bud behind the ear. An inspiring, gorgeous fragrance that makes you feel wonderful.

  This was my first Diptyque and what a stunning presentation – a true work of art! It smells of rose that opens fruity, vibrant and luminous, like a freshly cut pink blossom in a vase under a shaft of sunlight. Over time, the rose deepens, sends out roots and takes root in dark, fertile soil. Although it becomes darker, green and damp, it never feels oppressive; it remains fresh and elegant. The woods, musk, chamomile, artichoke and lychee simply serve to highlight the rose, which is the absolute star. The bottle is beautiful and the longevity is exceptional, with a moderate sillage.
