Today I tried wearing this as a base scent and the truth is, I liked its opening very much… but it did not capture me with its evolution. It is more subtle; on my skin, the neroli faded and left a slightly floral and smoky trail. It is not bad, but I prefer scents that sparkle, so I kept the Do Son EDT… for my taste, an 8 for the EDP… and a 9 for the EDT…

Today I tried this perfume and liked the opening a lot, but it didn’t catch me with the transformation. It’s more subtle; on my skin, the tuberose faded, leaving a slightly floral and smoky trail. Not bad, but I prefer sparkly scents, so I stuck with the EDT. To my taste: 8 for the EDP and 9 for the EDT.

  • For a man, the EDP is better as it’s less sparkling and more spiced. I adore it because it reminds my boyfriend of the Santos celebrations in Arjona, Andalusia, and it moved me deeply. Furthermore, since I’m utterly blown away by the smoky, spiced woody jasmine, the neroli smells remarkably similar.

  • For a man, the EDP is better: less sparkly and more spicy. I like it because it reminds my boyfriend of the Saints’ festivals in Arjona, Andalusia; it moved me greatly. Also, since I love smoky, spicy woody jasmine, the tuberose resembles it quite a bit.

  • Tuberose, rose, and jasmine are basics in my olfactory memory. With Do Son, there’s no ‘could be’, only ‘is’. It’s tuberose with a neat, clean touch, without reaching powdery territory. If you dislike white flowers or see them as purely feminine, it’s not for you. But if you close your eyes and imagine spring fields full of tuberose in the early morning, you’ll fall in love. A daytime perfume for any season, cost-effective longevity, and a landmark in clean scents. According to commercial perfumery, it could be more feminine, but for those with a nose light of stereotypes, it’s unisex; after all, in perfumes, gender is set by our prejudices.

  • Tuberose, Rose and Jasmine form the pillars of Do Son, a structure so solid it leaves no room for doubt: it is always what it smells like. A pristine, clean white flower, nothing dusty. If you are obsessed with white florals or believe they are only for women, this is not for you. But if you close your eyes and imagine those fields of neroli at first light, you will adore it. It is a daytime scent, suitable for all seasons, with lasting power that compensates and, for me, marks a milestone in clean fragrance. Technically it could be more feminine, but for those with a light nose to stereotypes, it is unisex; in the end, it is our prejudices that assign gender to perfumes.

I love it; sillage and longevity are excellent. The tuberose stands out among the other white flowers. Highly recommended.

A party of fresh tuberose with a touch of musk. Beautiful, one of my favourites from the house. Good longevity, dilutes slowly after five hours; by night it sits close to the skin and usually earns compliments. Highly recommended if you like white flowers.

  • The creamiest echo of the original. Although I prefer the lightness of the EDT, the EDP recaptures that tuberous essence with a creamier nuance, green stalks, and a spicy note that gives it body. Tuberose is the star, denser, as if its petals were in a milky veil. Longevity is notable, with a warm, floral trail for hours. Watch out: if stored for too long, the formula macerates, intensifying and losing freshness. A double-edged sword: more intoxicating but alters the balance. It dresses the tuberose in a more enveloping, persistent layer.

  • ElTontoDeLosOlores

I gifted this to my girlfriend, and now when she wears it, she obsesses over it; I love trailing behind smelling her scent. It’s exquisite, very floral with tuberose dominating, with excellent longevity and sillage. Highly recommended if you enjoy the scent of offering flowers.

  • ElTontoDeLosOlores

I gifted this to my girlfriend, and now when she wears it, I’m completely smitten; I love following her trail. It’s an exquisite fragrance, super floral with neroli taking centre stage, and both the longevity and sillage are top-notch. In short, it’s excellent if you enjoy the scent of a floral offering.

  • Tuberose, tuberose, and more tuberose. Smells very similar to jasmine, but it hasn’t quite convinced me. The musk initially muddles things a bit, then fades, leaving a creamy tuberose.

  • I have the travel size of Do Son and am almost finished; I’ll definitely buy the large size. At first, it seemed very floral and dense, but with wear, I’ve fallen in love. The orange blossom and jasmine bring me childhood memories, lots of nostalgia and happiness. It’s an ideal white floral for day and evening, though I adore it at night too. Wonderful.

A tuberose bomb: delicate, super floral with a green touch. Although it seems more feminine, I wear it without issue on hot days.
