Tubereuse Absolue by Perris Monte Carlo is an oriental floral fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2017, the nose behind this creation is Mathieu Nardin. The top notes are galbanum, cardamom, lavender and bergamot; the heart features nardos, gardenia, sambac jasmine and sweet acacia; while the base reveals orange blossom, cedar, musk and vetiver.

Spectacular! There is no other word. The tuberose envelops you, intoxicates you, drives you mad… but without boring you. Smelling it is like sitting under a jasmine or a night-blooming cereus on a hot summer dawn. Flowers… nothing but flowers.
It is a bouquet of jasmine, gardenia, orange blossom and neroli. That is something special. The downside is that while the jasmine smells realistic and rich, the neroli note takes me to something synthetic and artificial. Natural neroli has a green intensity that I never find in perfumery; the ‘neroli’ scent I perceive is just like the aroma of strawberry in yoghurts, miles away from the real fruit. That is why perfumes where this flower predominates (Gucci Bloom, Fragile…) do not fully convince me, despite their enormous quality.
Spectacular! Distinguished, elegant, vibrant. I love it and the longevity is incredible. Beautiful. I bought it blindly with a promo and it was a complete hit. It reminds me hugely of Carnal Flower by FM.
There is no remedy, this happens to me with this house: the scents are of extremely high quality, beautiful compositions, but they are not for me. Floral, it smells like a fresh garden in full spring, with the morning dew bathing it… It is very evocative. What a pity, I just can’t see myself wearing this scent. It performs and projects wonderfully.
This fragrance arrived today and it is pure white flowers. Simply enchanting. It lasts forever. It intoxicates you and you never get tired of smelling it; those around me love it too (if they enjoy floral notes). I absolutely adore this combination and it would be an essential in my collection.
